41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: March 31, 2013, 01:07:52 AM
wow CoinHorder, This has grown exceptionally large. (I bought in on your first order, before they went on sale). You sure have some work on your hands. I bought in thinking this would be much smaller and more personal.

I was putting my money into Rick & the prison, now this feels like I'm apart of Woodbury...

We need to get this more organized. This is a large group. First a private website for investors.
Public blog for CoinHorder to update us. Private forums that CH verify each account. Only people with current shares will have access. If you sell all your shares then your access will be removed.

For share trade/sells I propose this.
Members will find other members that want to sell/buy and come to agreement. Once a week/month, CH will go through a list of members that wish to trade. Members send payments, CH verifys, updates records, etc.

Take 10mins to setup, few days to get everyone to reg/verify forum accts. I have servers/domains. I'm sure half of us do. Don't know why it take us so long to do simple thing as this.
Drop me a PM CH if interested.

43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- DO NOT SEND FUNDS] on: March 26, 2013, 06:40:45 AM
CoinHoarder frequents the btce exchange. I've tried my hand at day trading/night trading and I see coinhoarder hanging around the boards. I rarely sleep and keep an eye on the ticker. I do believe that coinhoarder day trades as well and also works. I can vouch for the fact that he hasn't slept in days. I would assume his past 48 hours were quite hecktic an he is probably asleep this very moment.

Same, I was awake at 2am-est when the first post was made, and saw him online/talking for the next 9 hours until the first 2 were ordered.

^^ no its just trolls! I think everyone that got in feels good about it..

Same. I'v gotten more BTC and missed the 3rd&4th.. Anyone wanna sell any shares??  Kiss

trolls gonna troll i guess.

To CoinHorder, thank you. Don't let these kids discourage you. I am 100% confident.

Sounds like a good idea, I was hesitant to begin with but if there was some ID then its all good.

I need to get to my god damn bitcoins, this day was designed to stress me to my limits!!

Please hurry! Transactions processed past this point may not be included in the group buy as they might not confirm quickly enough. This is the last call!
If you need more to finish up the ASIC purchase that I am in, let me know. I may be able to swing a few more BTC your way.

There is 211~ listed on the 2ed post. blockfain has his account @ 236. missing some people

I gotcha for 10 more.

Yes, that is a start... a lot of people sending me coins without sending me their address/username/transaction ID. Please send me this!!~!

Yes you are a very rich man, from peoples trust. Just like the ASIC companies we have watched over the years. I worry not. If you are a thief karma will find you. We will find out in a long time. Don't be BFL... Smiley

I am excited and hopefully you get a order in. ETA 2~hours!

Are you planning to order the 3 or 4 module version?

If I collect enough funds, we will order a 4 module version.

Guys,

When you come here to post an issue.

Please make sure you post your Order information in the thread. Its hard for us to help you when your just flaming on us.

Important things to understand:

When you do a MtGox transfer, its a USD transfer. If we are late, we will pay for the delay, however not the BTC price.

When you do a BTC transfer, we honor the BTC price when its delayed.

All your orders are getting filled, we had an issue yesterday when the MtGox API broke and 4 hours worth of orders failed.

We never scammed anyone, and we dont plan on starting now

Thanks for your patience

Charlie

What do we do if we do not have our order/event #s? After the first few times of perfect transactions I stopped saving them. Now I paid for an order yesterday and its still not proceeded on your end. I have send emails... what do I do...its been 24+ hours.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is WAY too confusing for the average person on: March 22, 2013, 06:00:19 AM
The average person has no idea how fiat money is created,
How the relationship between US treasury, FED, and Banks work,
How the money supply is manipulated,
How currency is controlled by private banks..

If your hoping to get idiots that don't know this stuff into BTC...good luck.
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will the bubble burst? on: March 22, 2013, 05:56:45 AM
At this point it just seems like panic buying

Some of it is. You cought me!

I'v been following bitcoin for years. Not like I have the past few months. But Is something I always checked up on. There are many ppl like me who seen the recent changed and realize even if this is a bubble, long term its going up.

If you compere the network hashrate and the BTC/USD, the charts are relatively the same.

Long as people don't abandon bitcoin for trade, we are looking at a new era of monetary systems. Much how the internet changed technology. or fighter jets revolutionized air-warfare.

For 21-28yr olds with 12+ hours a day on a computer, if you arnt getting what u can into bitcoins. I don't know wtf is wrong with your logic. We are due for a correction, Avalon has created a bubble but I think its not going to be noticed or fall d/t the world financial stage and other factors.
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC a Bubble? U sir are MAD!! on: March 22, 2013, 05:20:40 AM
When, or rather if, Bitcoin has become ubiquitous enough that every Tom, Dick and Granny is using it, it won't be anything like $400 per BTC but rather closer to $400 kay per BTC. Just sayin'. Signed, an Überbull. Smiley

My 95 year old granny owns some bitcoins. I said to her she should buy some and she just took my word for it. She has no idea what they are, but she is please by how much they are now worth.

I drove to my parents and talked for about 30mins and tryed them to get into it past 2 days. They just don't get it.

56  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitInstant Stole my money on: March 22, 2013, 04:40:54 AM
I did a USD -> MtGox acct.

Waiting 12+ hours for bitinstant email. ZipZap e-mailed was instant.

This is beyond server/coding problems. Maybe delays from the amount of money they are ordering but I'm sure they have USD
57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: March 22, 2013, 04:03:37 AM
Same as you guys.

noon-ish I went to walmart and send money. Got my ZipZap email payment confirmation. Nothing from bitinstant, no email or mtgox funds. E-mailed, waited.

12 hours later still no reponse from anyone. I tried their phone # around 3/4 EST and rang for 2mins so hung up.

I'v used bit-instant probably 10+ times over the years. Every-time has been perfect except this. Probably is just the influx of ppl using, but cmon its been 12 hours and $500 of my moeny is off into the vapor aswell as losing the chance to buy more coins on the days lows..
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitinstant into BTC-E? on: March 19, 2013, 09:46:51 PM
How can I use bit-instant to put money into BTC-E ?

I see the option on btc-e site, but it directs me to bitinstant which says nothing about btc-e anywhere
59  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Difference Between Graphics Card Brands e.g. Gigabyte/Sapphire/XFX e.t.c. on: March 15, 2013, 08:16:23 AM
Another thing to mention, every brand uses different manufacturing. My opinion is brands like HIS, Powercooler, XFX are good, but their manufacturing, quality control, etc are lacking.

Different brands/model combination end up being the 'popular' brand of xxxx model.

As far as 5850's. I would spend the extra $10-20 on each card and get a 5870 Twin Frozr II. About 50~mh more then the 5850 but runs 10x cooler.

I have 3x MSI Cyclone 5850's running at 950mhz/600mem/stock volt getting 380mh @ 75f
I have 3x MSI 5870 Twin Frozr II running at 975mhz/300mem/stock volt getting 420mh @ 60f
