So this online wallet we can trust? and does it have a staking feature like the online POSwallet has? I am currently staking some coins at POSwallet but I am looking for other wallets for everyday transactions so just like to know if we can trust coinvault?
Yeah, wallet is not staking walelt, its just online wallet to have coins on the move, it have also good security, and recovery options just in case. Developer behind coinvault.io is honest hardworking man, and as he says, wallet is still in beta, so do not store huge amounts there. I have tested and it works perfect. GoldBlocks team and CoinVault are cooperative partners. https://www.coinvault.io/Thanks dev for your reply and as I said I'll be using it for everyday transactions so I'll hive it a try. It would of been nice if it had a staking feature. Hi, good questions. Please read our security page https://www.coinvault.io/Info/SecurityWe don't have access to users private keys, however there is still the need for some trust on the devs (but thats true for all wallets even hardwear wallets). The identity of the owners is known and can be found on the support page, I hope thos will provide more trust. As I said we don't have access to users keys and thats why staking is impossible (as private kes are required to sign new transactions) CoinVault is perfect for everyday transactions, long term investments should be held on paper wallets probably. I am happy to answer any other questions you may have. Thanks and I will look more into it as I will be using it for everyday transactions. Any plans on adding staking with this wallet? Not at the moment unfortunatly, probably next on our road map is adding support for ETH and a usb hardwear wallet (so the ability to make cold storage transactions) You could try POSWallet.com for a staking service

Nice I have new wallet there now Good news, but I have a question - will POS mining works on web wallet? Unfortunatly not, POS mining requires access to private keys (to sign the new transactions) and is by nature less secure. You can however use the mnmonic to import the wallet to a staking server (that supports BIP39 and BIP44)

Hi Faircoin community, CoinVault is a multi crypto hybrid web wallet and we are growing our coin stack. We are considering adding Faircoin to our list of coins. https://www.coinvault.io/Info/CoinsIs there any interest in the faircoin community to add FAIR to coinvault? How will you make money with this? will you have fees for withdrawl or something? will you provide a staking pool or earn from staking the users coins? thank you Hi good questions, The business model is not firmly decided yet, I have some ideas (most likely a freemium model where a user can make x transactions and over that number will be with a minor cost or a top-up). Pooled Staking requires owning the private keys which we don't (for security reasons). POS is not important, because we are going to move to POC in less than two months In that sense, perhaps you would prefer to integrate directly faircoin 2 version, so you dont need to do the work two times in two months Good idea, I'll keep an eye open for the migration. Can you provide some more detailes about POC? Cheers

Hi MUE community, We are considering adding MUE to https://www.coinvault.io/Is there any interest in the community for that? Should we wait for the x11 migration? That would be awesome, thanks for the consideration. I think it would be better to wait for our migration over to the new code base. I will follow up then if that's OK? Thanks again Great I'll wait for the migration and an update before I proceed.

Could you develop how the wallet works and which are the risks? So, the coins could be hacked? What happens if user forgot password? etc... I'd be happy to explain, you can also check the security page for details https://www.coinvault.io/Info/SecurityThe users HD seed is encrypted with the wallet-password (not login-password) and only an encrypted copy is stored on our servers, so we don't have access to the private keys. When creating a wallet you get a mnmonic phrase and a backup key, both can be used to import the wallet, or you can just import a mnmonic if you already have a wallet. If a users looses the login-password they need to create a new account and import the wallet key (and scan their coins). If a user forgets the wallet-password then on the backup key there is an encrypted version of your wallet-password using our key you can recover it. Note: We are working on a usb tool to store your keys offline completely so we don't even need to sign transactions on our servers. We'll be releasing some of our code as open source https://github.com/CoinVault
