My apologies for not reading a single word on here, but you guys should advertise more to the rest of the EU (/world). I am a very happy customer and would like to see more volume. Advertise! Smiley

Viva Italia, though
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Rock Trading Company -Who's got positive experience with it? on: August 03, 2013, 03:55:49 AM
I am very happy with their service. Excellent support, regularly above market price and payment in 2-3 days in EU.
Wish they would advertise more and focus less on Second Life, it's an excellent BTC/LTC/EUR/USD exchange.

En de uitbetaling gebeurt binnen 2 a 3 dagen via NL of BE SEPA overschrijving.

Dus ik zou zeggen daytrade je USD / BTC / EUR, misschien maak je nog wat winst. En zoek andere verkoopkanalen.

Omen1855  #91XX          1          3   2013/07/22

So the two arrived were 3 module units. The others, which are actually for me, and the other 2 for my friends, I still have no news on. Damn those friends...
Avalon ships random again it seems. I'm also Order Number 91xx, but I paid on 23 or march or 22nd.

Sorry to hear that man, but you can see my #61XX order as well, they ship the units together, so I think the lowest number counts.
Here's how I ordered. Somehow I got onto the ordering page 10 mins before it actually was open to public, no idea how, but I was clicking like a madman. I immediately ordered the 4x 4 modules avalons.

I started thinking and after a couple of minutes, thought what the hell, let's buy a 3 module one too, maybe I'll sell it afterwards (#61XX). Then my friend calls up and says can you buy one for me too? That was the day after, and somehow I still could buy one (#91XX). Another friend of course wanted the already ordered so I just resold it to him at my cost.

So actually, I should have had my 4x 4 module units before they got theirs, if you follow the order numbers. But I figure Avalon considered it fairer that first the weaker ones have one week head start. Then the 4 module ones get shipped. If you order multiple of some kind of configuration, probably the lowest number counts.

But I don't know, I am just a very happy to have received all the units which are running way faster than advertised. So thank you Avalon.
And I hope you get yours asap!

As promised I've added some multi-avalon power to the mine. This pool's hashrate is exploding Smiley

Omen1855  #91XX          1          3   2013/07/22

So all my precious miners have arrived and with the latest firmware are mining about 20% faster than advertised. Thanks Yifu!
47  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 4 module B3 Avalons - wtf?? on: July 26, 2013, 11:55:39 PM
I also received my DHL tracking nr for the 4 module orders one week later than the 3 module ones.

I never met Yifu, never spoke with him. Honestly people, I believe these guys try their hardest, but this forum is not really the most motivating place to be trying to sell mining hardware.

Is anyone running AM Blades here?
I am getting a lot of rejects with them, while my avalons are running fine.

Yes I am, I had to raise the difficulty to 100 to fix the problem

Order 976 paypal indicates as payed, but had to go through some ID proof since I am abroad. That's all resolved, but terrahash lists my order as refunded. Additionally paypal is investigating the transaction on terrahash's part. All very confusing now...

Order is a dx large @90gh.

Bitfury, you are among the very rare honest ASIC sellers with great integrity. Hats off to you, comrade Smiley
If I could, I would invest the amount from the bet in even more of your miners.

At least it's a stock that is not at the meta-level of bitcoin. Seriously, we need more of these than just yet another mining bond or exchange.

Now if MP just wouldn't piss off developers on a regular basis I might invest Smiley

For my curiosity, make a list of ten companies where management regularly pissed off developers versus ten companies where management regularly catered to developers and then compare their business results. I'll even contribute a starting name for each list: EA and 3D Realms (Apogee Software) respectively.

That's not exactly what I meant. I meant this statement made, arguably not by MP (but he has his own), but by you:

"How about we get some advice from people who live and breathe technology instead of relying on scummy little rats who live and breathe finance?" Argumentum ad populum.

For the record, a boatload of neckbeards doesn't pay for one single financier. This because tech people actually are humanly inferior to money people. They're less of a person.

That's before hiring any, without any results yet, which might make it a bit more difficult convincing them to work on this project. Now I am a tech guy myself, and I see the humour and partial truth in this and can put it into context. However, you might have blown up some bridges already to hire the developers you need.

I hope I am wrong though, since again, I think this is exactly what we need to make the Bitcoin economy viable.
