When are the fees going to go down?
For those that invest in AE, how many shares do you buy on average to compensate for the high transaction costs?
|
|
|
So for those that donated, what do we have to submit exactly and when.
Do they want .DAT files?
|
|

Is this really 1,000 a share? This is definitely cryptohistory in the making however this plays out.

Am I missing somethig - cannot buy with VISA/MC What went wrong? I was hoping this service would work well. Anyone use this yet?

Your average NXT whale, are they in it for the long haul as a usable currency or will they start dumping when this reaches 1 dollar? or even 50 cents?

What's the available supply of Bitshares X?
I was reading the wiki and all the terminology becomes confusing.
BitUSD, BitBTC...
How many different asset names will there be?
The client looks good, I can say that much.
Share supply is 2 billion. Initially there will only be a small number of assets to guarantee market depth. As it grows, one should expect more assets to become available. BitUSD is the asset that tracks USD, BitBTC tracks BTC etc. I think the current plan is 2 main assets BitGold and BitUSD. I want to say there will be a third one tied into oil or CNY but I am not entirely sure. The wiki is a constant work in progress, but the product itself is a work in progress. Are the devs behind Bitshares separate from Invictus?

Thks guys, NXT is really impressive.
It's tough having to wade through all the naysayers and scammongers.
Even if NXT is has some flaws or bad press, I don't see any reason to heavily support Litecoin or any clone at this point.
Tai Zen at Leon Fu at Prison Or Freedom really did good a job explaining how NXT is 2.0 tech.
While Ethereum sounds ambitious, devphp is right, all the other 2.0 coins haven't crawled or even been born yet.
NXT is here and its already supporting an asset exchange with significant volume and market caps.

Is it a good idea for NXT to have potential competing crypto on its exchange?
I'm interested in NXT and I started accumulating some and I'm looking at some assets with concern that something like NEM could displace it.

That's really a small amount of Doge.
Best thing to do is put it on an exchange where you can earn interest while you keep funneling in more doge from faucets.
Once doge goes higher, sell. It's too low now to concern yourself with it. Might as well hold.

NXT is impressive looking right now

When is the pre-sale going to happen?
What's the purpose of running the client right now?

Great thread! This should be a sticky.

How do you find out about assets on the exchange? Is there an official exchange list? Is there any oversight to what gets listed?
Brand new: http://www.secureae.com/Just click Login on the bottom left, it lists all the available assets. But most of them are announced on nxtformum.org. Don't do that In secureae ALL assets with trading volume are listed, so scam assets are in there too! Sorry, was just answering the dudes question. Is there a list of the "scam" assets? This looks good https://nxtforum.org/asset-exchange-general/asset-exchange-ipos-launch-day-listings!/

I installed NRS version 1.1.6 and now the client is running slow, unable to see recent blocks.
Transactions I made yesterday, are no longer viewable. How long are transactions kept? Is there a reason to adjust the deadline?
Try to redownload the blockchain. Reinstall NXT. I did that and it seems to be working again. Thanks

Why are they asking for your password... Seems pretty scammy to me. Made a new account to try it and got a white screen as well.
He's @freenxt.org on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577654.0----- What could someone do with an account id? can they be changed? Three questions on NXT: 1. Anyone using this faucet? Is it safe? http://freenxt.org/?menu=play2. I thought NXT wasn't mined. How does Hashrate.org's NXT Multipool work? 3. How many NXT do you need to start forging? 1. Yep. 2. They mine other coins and buy NXT with it. 3. 1... but you probably won't get a block for ever. With 6000 or more you can lease to a pool. I would say with 100k you might get a block a day. There is a calculator somewhere. But, at this time forging fees will be very very very very small. Thanks!
