Is "slush official" a legit account?

It is an excellent question, minefarmbuy. Don't trust, verify! Wink

Hello, Slush Pool here.

Has anyone tried this beast on our pool? Smiley We would really appreciate some feedback.

Either here or through our support system: https://support.slushpool.com/conversation/new

Thank you!

Will gladly test my unit when it arrives on monday. Only willing to dedicate ~20 min or so if the rejection rate is too high however. Will provide the logs though.

Sure! That should be enough.

Just to clarify, the rewards are only influenced by rising network difficulty at the end: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Pool size only influences short-term variance of the rewards, not the amount.
51  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2.5+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: May 16, 2018, 10:50:40 AM
what is best payout threshold ?
and what time of the day slush payouts i setup to 1btc lol..

It really only depends on your preferences. We recommend to set the threshold above 0.01 BTC so you don't have to pay any payout/transaction fee.

Payouts are usually processed on hourly basis, however the network confirmation may take longer.
52  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2.5+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: May 10, 2018, 01:40:02 PM
Everything should be working smoothly now. The situation was primarily caused by networking issues occurring in the North America region. We have doubled the number of Stratum endpoints to strengthen our infrastructure and prevent similar issues in the future.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. If you still experience any problems, please contact our support team: https://support.slushpool.com/conversation/new

We are aware of the issue and working to resolve it as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience.

There was an issue with Stratum proxy that should be fully resolved by now. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Please let us know if you still have any issues.

Hello there
What payment method is used on Slush?
PPS+
PPLNS
FPPS
Huh?

Hello, we use Score reward system, which is pretty close to the PPLNS.

There are some differences tho, please read this for a better understanding: https://slushpool.com/help/manual/rewards

Hello, i want to obfuscate the traffic from my miners to slush pool using tor, i have routers with openwrt/lede and tor activated, but i'm using slush pool normal addresses, i read that slush has a hidden service for the pool, how do i set up that for my miners?.

Thanks for any orientation you guys can give me.

Hello, we currently don't run Tor hidden service, neither we support mining via Tor network. It's possible that you can get it running somehow, however we cannot guarantee you anything. Another option could be mining via VPN.
58  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2.5+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: April 09, 2018, 08:24:18 PM
another question when slushpool total hash is almost same yesterday but slushpool was second at total hash % percentage today at 4th rank and total bitcoin hash is same Huh how come

I guess you were looking on hashrate distribution chart like this? https://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hours

Those only estimate hashrate based on the number of blocks found, meaning they are very imprecise in such short period because of the variance – luck.

On the contrary the hashrate reported by Slush Pool is precisely measured in real time.
59  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2.5+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); World's First Mining Pool on: April 09, 2018, 08:54:33 AM
yes but m i missing what at this point per whattomine daily for avarage 80th/s 0.00579btc but at slush it is 0.00210 ?
here slush last blocks my rewards for 80th/s this more than double
what is must be min diffculty for 80th/s ??

Reward History

33876   2018-04-08 12:27   01:20:37   3.160 Eh/s   80.79 Th/s    0.00031330 BTC   12.50303939 BTC   99
33875   2018-04-08 11:06   04:27:54   3.343 Eh/s   81.25 Th/s    0.00030026 BTC   12.60714350 BTC   91
33874   2018-04-08 06:38   00:14:37   3.087 Eh/s   84.58 Th/s    0.00033856 BTC   12.60995385 BTC   64
33873   2018-04-08 06:24   01:38:32   3.073 Eh/s   80.44 Th/s           0.00032169 BTC   12.53783692 BTC   62

You should be getting approximately 0.00007 BTC/TH, so the estimation is roughly correct. However the daily rewards fluctuate a bit because of luck (number of blocks found per day differ). It averages out over the time so there's nothing to worry about. You can watch the luck stats here: https://slushpool.com/stats/?c=btc

Dear US east-coast miners, we have resolved recent connectivity issue which affected only AWS part of the pool infrastructure. Everything is fully operational now. We apologize for the inconveniences.
