43  Economy / Services / Re: Participate in a new forum regarding Ransomware support on: September 12, 2016, 09:46:47 AM
Im aware its a big pay, and I don't mind paying (50% upfront)
But I also strongly prefer people who have interest in the topic rather then people who just want to make some BTC Smiley

The idea behind it is really to create a community there

If someone is interested please send me a PM.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to about LBC / LBRY Credit $1.2017 on: July 20, 2016, 06:23:05 AM
i got this quotes :
" Currently, 250 thousand LBRY credits (LBC) are in circulation. Over the next year, that number will rise to roughly 80 million just through mining. LBRY Inc. has reserved 200 million for adoption programs, and we intend to deploy them widely over the coming years to give millions of users their first taste of a truly free market in media ".

So i though, the price will rebound to 400k for once again.. after that the top wll go down depending the amount of circulation.. so for this year is the best to trade it. CMIIW

CoinMarketCap gives different numbers, and I have been following it
currently the available circulation is 2,591,092 LBC (17 hours ago there were 2,557,772 LBC) that's about 2000 coins an hour. Quite a lot in my opinion.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO CPU/GPU MINING POOLS AVAILABLE (DISCUSSION THREAD) on: July 19, 2016, 02:16:53 PM
Well Diff massively up generation on coins down. Market vale down.  Looks like we going on a trip to the bottom. Was a good 2 weeks mining this or almost. Will have to wait and see where Diff goes if will go down and price back up. Will jump back to this coin if it recovers and survives.

Coin emission is going up, so you should be getting more coins even with the difficulty increase.  Yes, price is down, but this is still way more profitable than any other coin.

I'm getting about 80LBC/day, @ 70c, that's $56/day.  How can I make that much ETH with the same hashing power (would be equivalent to about 320MHs/).  No other coin comes close...

edit: I am hashing with Pascal, which is killing it in LBC.

I fear that is in not good for the coin... It is very mining friendly but not a holder friendly
When you prefer one over the other, you invite trouble
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to about LBC / LBRY Credit $1.2017 on: July 19, 2016, 10:56:24 AM
This coin is a strange creature...

On one hand it looks like it does something innovative (Unlike all the other similar coins)
everything they do looks very professional - https://lbry.io/news , https://lbry.io/team
It feels like a startup
But on the other hand the total supply to available supply is just horrible - it pumps up the price, and allowing miners to make big earnings.

I think we will see here a big big pump followed by a bigger dump
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY CREDITS - Unmoderated Thread - LBRY.IO on: July 19, 2016, 08:56:11 AM
how many LBRY credits are approximately being generated by mining each day?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nxt and the rise to the top. on: November 05, 2015, 01:55:16 PM
@Tokeweed....the current liquidity situation is a massive improvement on 6 months ago, but, yeah, more is better.

@Canaanite:
Here's a rich list from a couple of weeks ago:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4OEA-peIYHXeGpmOE0wNlQyYWM

It does look better than what I remember...
How did the whales sell their NXT? did they do it through exchanges?
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nxt and the rise to the top. on: November 05, 2015, 12:56:24 PM
The officially accepted definition of a liquid market is one in which 1% of the coins/tokens/porkbellies are traded per day.....by that definition, NXT trading is liquid right now, with a 24 hour volume of $87,000 on a market cap that bounces from $7-9 million. Hope it stays that way.....

Distribution is looking sweet as well: the last stakeholder to dump has been spreading the NXT around nicely, but she's just run out of NXT to give away.

Where can I check the distribution of NXT?
Last time I checked (like a year ago) something like 70% of it were held by 100 accounts
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: November 03, 2015, 01:50:49 PM
Haven't been online in few months and I come online today and see all altcoins are dead? Little to no movement in past few months, majority of that is downward movement. Scammers have run out of ideas? people stopped investing?

What is going on?

meanwhile BTC is heading back to $400  Tongue

I knew it was going to happen, didn't expect it was going to happen this soon. lol

Alts are connected to bitcoin but with high Beta

When bitcoin is going down the altcoin market will go down x times more
When bitcoin is going up the altcoin market will go up x times
although it doesnt happens exactly at the same time, usually there is some delay. I believe that because of bitcoin rose up the last couple of weeks you will see the altcoin market recovering again.
But thats ofcourse just my speculation
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pros/Cons vs NXT Pros/Cons? on: November 03, 2015, 01:46:26 PM
I hold both... Nxt is very advanced technology wise - and in my opinion few steps ahead of any other altcoin in the market...
But it has one huge problem and thats the presale it had.
Most NXT (75% I think) is held by less than 100 addresses.
Although you dont care about price, it is an issue when you try to do publicity, pay developers and etc...

Ethereum Presale was much better, they raised few millions of dollars but its still not developed enough.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 03, 2015, 12:25:03 PM
How can I store my "ether" in a safe place for long period?
Is there a "https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/" for Ethereum?

I believe this https://www.myetherwallet.com/ can do it.

Thats exactly what I was looking for! Smiley
Is it safe? does it send my private key to some server or anything?

You can run it on an offline* computer. If it is safe to use online I cannot tell.

* Apparently there is the possibility to use it (the paper wallet functionality) offline:
"For generating wallets, you can download the source code (https://github.com/kvhnuke/etherwallet)  by using the "DOWNLOAD ZIP" button in the aforementioned link. Then, disconnect your computer from the internet and / or move that .zip file via flash drive to an air-gapped computer. Or, do whatever you want to do. Unzip the file, double-click on "index.html", and you have the exact same thing happening on your air-gapped computer (or whatever). You can now generate wallets on that computer without fear that we are stealing you heart and soul and first-born child. (Obviously, sending transactions is not going to work without the internet. Sorry!)"

Perfect! I'll do that

57  Economy / Services / Re: WakeUpBox - Desktop alarm clock Campaign (and 0.005 btc for twitting) on: May 31, 2015, 02:38:43 PM
So much wisdom here...

Anyway, I still have space for the campaign (It does not have to be on bitcointalk, as long as the forum posts show up on google search)

58  Economy / Services / Re: WakeUpBox - Desktop alarm clock Campaign on: May 28, 2015, 09:01:54 AM

Three is signature limit in this forums. If we add off topic text outside the signature box, it will be consider as advertising and may result into a ban.

And how about forums that are not Bitcointalk?
59  Economy / Services / Re: WakeUpBox - Desktop alarm clock Campaign on: May 28, 2015, 07:37:20 AM

You are requested to manually add to each post "An alternative Alarm clock designed for your desktop - http://wakeupbox.net"

Adding that in every post would be considered off-topic to the thread you're adding the reply to and spam and the person doing it would get their account banned. If you want to advertise, just start a proper signature campaign.

I don't think this will be allowed.

But that misses the point... I don't really care about people seeing the ad. I want to promote it in search engines.
I personally think it's the same as signautre only you manually add it
Do you have any idea how to execute it better?
60  Economy / Services / WakeUpBox - Desktop alarm clock Campaign (and 0.005 btc for twitting) on: May 28, 2015, 07:26:31 AM
Hi guys,
I'm looking for 5 people to join this little campaign.
Although what I'm asking is a bit different (and even harder to execute) so take that into consideration.

0.1btc for 50 posts

You are requested to manually add to each post "Alternative alarm clock designed for your desktop - http://wakeupbox.net"

I'm looking for people who post in more than just bitcointalk forums, but even in other forums on the internet. (Please write the forums you participate in, You can send me an in-mail here)
The goal of this campaign is actually to boost up "WakeUpBox" at search engines

All of the posts have to be constructive, spam posts will not be taken into account.

*You can have a different campaign as well, I don't mind, as long as you manually post it Smiley

Also, if someone wants just to twit about the website, I'm offering 0.005btc per twit (only once ofcourse). Once you do it, post here a link to your twitter account post & a bitcoin address)
https://twitter.com/wakeupbox

+ Please allow me at least 24 hours to send you the BTC for the twitter
