42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holders must remain calm on: October 25, 2018, 05:41:40 PM
There are people who invested more than they should, and get nervous at the volatility.

Hey ngm22585! As of now BTC is not in any sort correlated to markets with its non existing  movement, its even less volatile than fiat currently, BTC - stable coin against markets 2018 Wink  One month isn't that long of a time horizon to draw any larger conclusions. Will be interesting to see how volatility changes the next 6 months or so.

44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a place in the future of finance as a global currency? on: October 24, 2018, 08:48:42 PM
Personally In short, yes, I do believe we will transition towards it and hit a lot of walls along the way while we find acceptance and mass adoption but I believe we’ll eventually hit a point where most of those walls become insurmountable and that’s when the alternatives start to show up..

We’ll start to see various coins battling for the top and it will almost assuredly be an amazing time in our world.

Either way, we’re in for a ride and in the mean time, those individuals saying we’ll hit $50,000 on Bitcoin are not wrong. We’re already on our way now.
I suppose not investing Bitcoin means losing free money everyday. Soon I will see my mother shopping with Bitcoins And i believe world will have a single currency that is Bitcoin.

In my opinion in the future central banks that embrace Bitcoin will have an advantage for some time but in the long run that's equivalent to digging your own grave. Central bank's complex schemes will never beat a p2p money!  Cool
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's with all the comparison between blockchain and banks? on: October 24, 2018, 08:37:44 PM
Bank keeps money, makes transactions, blockchain keeps record of transactions - so, banks and blockchains are not rival, and Banks around the world are adopting or testing blockchain. Crypto is vast, there are Centralized and decentralized crypto. And by characteristics, decentralized crypto like BTC is the best form of money for the future and best tool to get beck your financial rights from central banking bullshits.

The second central bank to fully embrace BTC will be okay and not have to be the first. This is why none want to be the first, they understand their value and the value of the integrity shown of ignoring it until they have to. The value of sleight of hand is immense.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connected to our banks!!! on: October 24, 2018, 08:31:34 PM
In future if bitcoin is allowed in countries around the world and most online based companies will start to allow bitcoin as their payment currency/gateway/exchange. But what do you think if we would be allowed to transfer our money to our bitcoin wallet from our bank accounts like PayPal does? Will it be a good thing for banks and us?

Hey rishad quraishi! There no more central bank's in our future!  Undecided The only thing that is happening is a transition from the analog to the digital, then the quantum and finally to the reencounter to the source of the Universal code!
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: October 24, 2018, 08:22:47 PM

Fantastic news once again. Congratulations to the Stratisplatform team. That's some hell of a good partnership! 👌😃 I hope it goes to the moon and then mars and then milky way galaxy. Wink
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LIST] List of decentralized Stablecoins on: October 23, 2018, 09:20:38 PM
Stablecoin? Such assets are not stable at all. They rise and fall with the dollar price as example. You can use a direct fiat pairing as well, same result & no need to create „stablecoins“ Unpopular Opinion: A stablecoin literally does exactly what BTC was meant to solve. Fast transfers of money. 24/7 access.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STABLECOIN: comparison and opportunities on: October 23, 2018, 07:26:51 PM
With the markets often manipulated and in the hands of the great whales, we small investors are at the mercy of violent downpours and sudden dumps, which erode or cancel the gain of months or years in a few months (as happened from December to today). How to try to protect yourself from all this?
Until recently there were only two possible ways: bank transfer out of the exchange to your bank (return to FIAT) or temporarily park their crypts and convert them into Tether, with all the risks involved.

In recent months, however, following the alleged rumors on the solvency of tether, alternatives to tether or bank transfer have been developed; they are the so-called STABLECOIN

1) TrueUsd (TUSD) which uses smart contracts to guarantee decentralization; coupled to the dollar, the euro, the yen, but also to precious raw materials, stocks and real estate

2) Dai (DAI) in which users block their ETHs in an intelligent contract within the MakerDao system, from which Dai is born; when you redeem the Dai, you get your ETHs again

3) Haven Protocol (XHV), when the system and the network will be mature and stable, through crypto haven it will be possible to keep crypto or fiat sending them to offshore storage contracts that will retain the value of that precise moment; Haven is Monero's fork, for which he inherits anonymity and stealth, as well as having RingCT.

4) Digix (DGX), is the first coin totally hooked to gold, in which 1DGX = 1 gram of gold, allowing us to actually purchase 99.99% LBMA gold standard, certified with Bureau Veritas audit and guarded at Silver Bullion's Safe House, redeemable in 100g or 1000g ingots by going to the Vault store in Singapore.

Then we have other little known and with very few volumes, but still valid, such as NUBITS and EURN
Finally there are several other projects ready to be born, among which I would mention:

Alchemint (SDT) coin launched on Neo blockchain, hooked and stabilized with Neo and then with gold, real estate and other crypto.

Carbon that will use Hedera Hashgraph's ledger (new alternative blockhain that uses Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance, the strongest form of security attainable for a distributed ledger), which incorporates an elastic policy adjusting the amount of money to market demand, maintaining stability price of $ 1.

In conclusion, today compared to a few months / year ago there are many more possibilities to protect our crypto earnings / savings when we see strong turbulence and market volatility. In some cases, if well exploited, these possibilities also allow us to earn rather than lose capital, such as token Digix in which we can exploit the bitcoin / crypto downtrend with the rise of gold, a safe haven.

What is this s.h.i....  with stable coin, we just need more exchanges with Fiat pairs and that's it! first it's said Fiat is unstable and then stable coins with fiat pegging, what an irony!
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite stablecoin?? on: October 23, 2018, 07:17:30 PM
Been seeing a lot of talk about stablecoins lately like this article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/shermanlee/2018/03/12/explaining-stable-coins-the-holy-grail-of-crytpocurrency/#432e3ce84fc6

What do you guys think about them? My personal favorite would be Havven since they're not pegged to fiat or gold and is trustless.

Hey jack107! A stable coin is riskier than USD since it has additional counterparty risk. It is also worse than other decentralized crypto assets in that regard.

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin grows everyday through Shared knowledge on: October 21, 2018, 12:09:51 PM
I came across a quote made by someone on this forum which goes like,'An open mind is one of the best assets when it come to cryptocurrency'.
This quote got me thinking, to make bitcoin (cryptocurrency) grow everyday in relation to clearing all misconceptions people have, we need to share our little knowledge about bitcoin on this forum. Sharing of  knowledge will create an atmosphere for people to be open minded and also help newbie investors to understand the crypto world and the market. I realized there is quite a great number of very helpful people and resources on this forum.
What do you guys think? Do you agree with me?

Hey Vickyrichy! BTC creates delusions of grandeur and outlandish libertarianism based on authors no one even reads that themselves had no concept of a bitcoin type instrument or its context.  Undecided Not everyone can be wealthy. That is a false promise. Bitcoin will however favor those who do not want to be a part of consumerist society.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CDRX - INTRODUCING A FUNDAMENTAL SHIFT IN GLOBAL FINANCIAL MARKETS on: October 21, 2018, 12:04:30 PM

56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future looks brighter on: October 20, 2018, 08:29:05 PM
I completely agree with you. Btc has a great future and I hope that it will increase in price soon because i have got some coins at a cheaper price and would like to sell them and earn on the price difference

Bitcoin ETF will be very soon. Bakkt Exchange c physical delivery of bitcoins for institutionalists without margin trading will not discredit itself at the launch stage, the market collapse. Yes, we can assume that they can collapse the market in order to buy well, but not to 3000 and not for long. Since no one will come to such a market to trade without margin sales. And they will need customers.  Smiley  I think that soon we will see very different cryptocurrency prices.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market manipulation on: October 20, 2018, 12:02:12 PM
We're at a point where Alts are itching to move so bad that as long as BTC doesn't go down then they rally from this accumulation order block. They're ALL sitting at such pinnacle historic order blocks that figures like Don and I can't resist, regardless of market sentiment.

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connected to our banks!!! on: October 18, 2018, 01:47:05 PM
I think that with time we will have great changes in the banking system and I am sure that btc will be the leader. perhaps, it will be connected to banks but i don't know for sure whether this may happen

Hey Surge_Dev! Time windows are a simple margine of error. It's happening regardless. Nobody and nothing can stop knowledge and truth. Which is precisely what cryptos are. Technologic truth. The revolution is coming. Hodl on to your hats!
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon anniversary-10 years. on: October 18, 2018, 01:32:03 PM
In the future, we will use bitcoin in everyday transactions and it will become a global currency.

this is so cool!

Did you come from the future?
maybe you have a crystal ball like me?

I don't really think we are going to use BTC for the everyday transaction. Probably another one, faster and cheaper.

And it is already a Global Currency.

Incredible too think what the crypto space has on the Horizon. State of everything will be much more refined and mature in the future thanks to pioneers like yourself and all the other! The oldest generation never thought of cell phones, now they have smart ones. We might get even more than we expect in these 5-10 years  Wink
