41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin gambling games? on: February 11, 2017, 02:51:23 PM

I know Dice is by a huge margin the most played bitcoin gambling game. What do you think are the others that is played in bitcoin community a lot?

I think plinko could be the second biggest one. Maybe it could be slots too, there are many slots games out there but I am not sure if they are played that much.

Dice is the most popular for bitcoin gambling games, because I see mostly bitcoin gambling site offer a dice games into their games list. I think it's because easy game, plus mostly supported with faucet which allow gamblers to bet without deposit.

The second one I think slots game, the games works is almost same as dice, it's easy.

But I prefer to sports game, because I like to soccer and watch the match, also I follow the trends too. The result for the match is not pure luck, this is what I like too.
I don’t see why people are so into dice gambling I mean it has less chances and it is really risky to do.
I personally prefer football matches and I find them they depend on observation and research rather than putting it all on luck like rolling a dice or playing poker, in those ones you can’t really intervene like sports.
Yeah, it seems like some people are looking for the easiest way, but they do not do a good study of risks. I think sports betting has the advantage of allowing better analysis, based on good fundamentals, and this is something that makes a big difference in results.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where did this notion come from? on: February 11, 2017, 02:47:31 PM
These are statements that do not really make much sense, and I also have no idea where they got this information from. I think this comes from users who do not search properly before posting, or have probably seen other people comment on it, but have not looked for reliable sources to be sure.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: February 11, 2017, 02:44:09 PM
Well, I'm waiting for the price reached $ 1,100 bitcoin, whether it anytime. but, while waiting for prices to rise to the height, I'm collecting as many bitcoin. because we waited useless bitcoin prices rose to the height, but we sell a little bitcoin.

I don't think it will take much time to touch the price of $1100 as it can be achieved in next few months but I will sell my coins only when it touches $1500 price as I think that would be the best price to sell bitcoins in order to make higher profits so until it doesn't reaches to that level I will hold my coins without any hesitation.
It is probably something that can happen much sooner than some people think. It is not the first time this year that FUD has appeared on Bitcoin and the currency recovers, so I think the currency is oversold, and this can contribute to a more stable and stronger climb. But everything will depend on how the demand will keep in the market.
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: anyone who know "cointelegraph.com" on: February 10, 2017, 01:57:14 PM
Sometimes I see news on this website, and certainly many users in the cryptocurrency space know and access the media. They have good articles sometimes, but they are not always accurate, and there have been times when they have presented stories that proved to be misleading afterwards, such as an article about Monero and the problem the coin users faced with a darknet market, last year.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 10, 2017, 01:52:41 PM
I would like to invest in a casino business that gives me dividends, it's the only way to always win on a casino... to invest in a successful one. If someone started a casino of bitcoin in vegas or something, that would be cool and I would visit it too. I think no online casino is offering an investment plan with stocks that pay dividends.
I think it is a better choice than putting money in gambling itself, because by investing in casinos that bring the possibility of bankroll investment, it's like if you were playing in a way that the house is in your favor. But it is important to be aware that not always the house wins, and so there is a risk involved in the investment.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the odds of Winklesoss ETF passing? [POLL] on: February 10, 2017, 01:45:31 PM
I think there are chances of this occurring, but there is a possibility that the process may be delayed.

This upcoming deadline is the final one. There can't be any more delays. It's either a yes or a no by then. That's why people are getting ever hotter under the collar.
I did not know about it, this gives about a month ahead... it makes sense the fact that a lot of people are worried. It's unfortunate that this has gotten to that point. Thanks for the information.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: February 10, 2017, 01:34:58 PM
Buying bitcoin is easy, finding the right seller and getting good price is hard. There are several exchange that sell bitcoin and it is not difficult to find which one are reliable but there is a difference in bitcoin price on every exchange and that is hard to keep track of prices at all exchanges

Yes it is true and different exchanger makes different price too. Sometimes it can different almost $20-$30 per botcoin which is good. By arbiting it may be this will make something too, of course if you only have big amount of bitcoin so you will earn fast enough
I think there are many individuals making a profit out of it, since it is not so difficult to open an account in several exchanges and start making the transactions. The cost would be the withdrawal costs of each exchange, in addition it is necessary to be constantly monitoring the price, but probably many individuals are using bots for this.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the odds of Winklesoss ETF passing? [POLL] on: February 10, 2017, 01:14:08 PM
I think there are chances of this occurring, but there is a possibility that the process may be delayed, as this usually happens when there are many bureaucratic procedures involved. I would particularly like to see this happen, since it is something with potential to attract high profile investors into the Bitcoin market.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: February 10, 2017, 12:59:23 PM
Exactly, the most important thing is the make a target. When gambling is certainly make a target by how much. Whatever happens when the target is reached then I should immediately stop gambling.
I think it's hard to define such thing in a game in which you depend more on luck, but I think it's possible to have a greater self-control to not put more money than you should, and know how to stop when you've already made good amount of money. Statistics show that many users can make successful moves, but they lose money because they do not have a good view of such aspects, and continue to play when they should stop.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! on: February 10, 2017, 12:52:02 PM
Just remember - "The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets."

It will be just like the last time after PBoC intervention, when dust will settle Bitcoin will start to climb again.

And this time we will have even more positive news to back rising trend! Coin ETF will shake the market in March!!!
Somehow this current price make me happy, every dip to buy, getting decline is better than keep climbing.
I hope we can buy more bitcoin at cheaper price such as $700-800 Grin. It will give an opportunity for new users and investors to purchase bitcoin and we will start to rise again.
I'm sure a lot of people do not like when such an event occurs, but the upside is that it will be easier for Bitcoin to reach the oversold condition after that, and then Bitcoin will be able to climb again stronger and at a more organic pace.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC price should have risen after China froze exchanges on: February 10, 2017, 12:43:30 PM
As discussed earlier, it is possible to sell BTC to get money in the form of fiat currency, so many people are likely to dump in those exchanges. I think that the price drop should occur only in the exchanges that are suffering this type of interference, but it seems that the panic selling spreads to other parts of the market.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: February 09, 2017, 02:03:21 PM
Sometimes the fear of losing money can be a sign that the investor is not doing things right, in which case what would make a difference would be the elimination of flaws that exist in planning, or to seek safer investments. However, if the fear of losing money is related to not wanting to take risks, this can be a problem, because all investments have risks, and generally the higher the potential, the greater the risk.

It is important to look for little explored fields with great possibilities, but be aware that if you are investing more than you can afford to lose, you should listen to your instincts.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: February 09, 2017, 01:57:16 PM
Sometimes it made me think which is easier to trade stocks, forex or crypto? Stocks are the most stable and reliable I believe although it has some whales and some pump and dump but at least not as scary as crypto and the well manipulated forex trade. But the higher the risk the higher its rewards which is forex, crypto and stocks.

I'm pretty sure it all boils down to how much bitcoin you have to invest. If you can put a lot of money into stocks, then you can do very well as long as you don't get greedy and watch for volatile ones. However, if you have a smaller amount and you are willing to risk the fact of losing your bitcoin, then it would probably make sense to do crypto because stocks will make you hardly anything.
The problem with markets such as the forex market, and stock market, is that the volatility is not high as in the Bitcoin market. For some people this is seen as something positive, but in my opinion greater volatility can help the investor who wants to have a greater potential for earnings. Of course, a deeper study of the market and cryptocurrencies is needed before investing in any.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: February 09, 2017, 01:54:14 PM
current price looks will continue to rise, probably one of the main causes is the Chinese new year. We all know that largest owners of the bitcoin is the China, when they sold when Chinese new year needs hence it costs down, and now they are starting to buy more so much will bitcoin continues to rise. I'm sure the price of $1.500 will be easily accomplished in 3 months.
I was under the impression that in the coming days the price would return to the levels achieved earlier in the year, but it seems that the PBOC-related FUD is again interfering with the market. I hope it does not take long for people to realize that this does not compromise Bitcoin's use, even though it is an obstacle to some exchanges.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how many of you are investing in chronobank ico? on: February 09, 2017, 01:51:32 PM
I was thinking about this possibility, but the project proposal still has some aspects that I need to understand. Are there any AMA about the project on youtube, in which developers are casting the doubts of investors, or people interested in getting to know the project?
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me with poll about bitcoin day... on: February 09, 2017, 01:48:28 PM
For me the best date for bitcoin day is the day when it was released because that is the day that the world has taken a sight on it! And the bitcoin dqy should be announce worldwide. I don't know if how we will do it. Maybe we should publish it on a newspapers or let's make a worldwide tweets and facebook posts about it to spread the good news. Smiley
It's an interesting idea about it, I also think it should be the day on which Bitcoin became something of public access, where not only the creators were aware of this, but when the possibility of mining was shown to people willing to support the network.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: February 09, 2017, 01:45:16 PM
It's true that most people will lose money with gambling. The only ones that will ever make money are the casinos and those few people with a gift at poker or counting cards.
Most people loves to play luck based games because they are more entertaining than skilled based games, with luck based, we will not need to do analyzing our bets that consumes a lot of time. With this, I can tell that most of the gamblers loses in the long run, they came to play to have fun and to earn money, but they do not have the skills to do it as luck cannot be trusted in long term gambling.
I prefer the alternatives that allow you to do a more broader analysis of the game, such as blackjack, where you can use statistical and probabilistic analysis. Or sports betting, where you can analyze teams' performance to get a better view of the game, and make better decisions.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: February 08, 2017, 01:34:05 PM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?

Manual trading can't get fixed income, if you use bot, you may earn steady income, but making money from trading needs more market fluctuation, if the swing is big, you may earn/lose quite big amount of bitcoin, otherwise may be a little.
I can get my fixed income with manual trade, and you're wrong because it depends on the person how was he doing it with better to get some bucks every day. A lot of the potential field.
Use bot isn't guarantee if you will be able to reach daily income.
Although some users can make a profit with bots, this can often be a problem, as it is necessary to rely on the possibility that the program will perform good trades according to certain market patterns, but markets are constantly changing, and even if the parameters are well defined, the gains will not compare those obtained through a good analysis, performed for each situation.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: February 08, 2017, 01:00:01 PM
Yes, definitely we should celebrate a day for bitcoin which is helping million of people to earn the daily income and pocket money. and in fact celebrating bitcoin day would help the technology to spread like a wildfire and then everybody would start using bitcoin and such a great technology would rule the planet or at least it will get popularity.
I think that if Bitcoin fulfills its purpose for millions, and probably billions of people, we'll see that happen. There are a number of events related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general that happen every year, so I think it's only a matter of time before someone creates a campaign to encourage others to adopt this idea.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: First investments in bitcoins on: February 06, 2017, 11:59:10 AM
Hi everybody, I am quite new in this new market and have a lot of interest in it. After advices from friends, i have put some money in Ethereum by the fact that i like their project which has a global view on the world. Moreover, i have also put some money in Monero.

Now, i am confused to invest in the long run for some bitcoins. Why ? Because prices are already really high but after reading a lot analysis, predictions are quite high.
What do you think about investment in some bitcoins at this high Price ? Thanks guys

At this moment, I advice to you that wait the price to dump before you buy bitcoin. Yup, Its high price at now but surely when it pumps there's a dump and wait it to happen.Just wait it till the best price to buy. That's the best time to invest your money in Bitcoin. Investing in Bitcoin is not confusing because it has a good potential that many will accept it sooner or later.
The hard part is knowing when it will dump, maybe the price will continue to increase gradually over the next few weeks, but no one knows. I think the best thing to do is to do your own research and study the odds, to know if the price will fall next.
