41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 18, 2022, 11:17:33 PM
In my opinion, the right thing is that parents are more assertive and always supervise and also limit their children who are still underage when accessing the internet using smartphones and others, considering the rise of online gambling and technology that continues to develop making things easier.
That's easier said than done, unless you're a parent by yourself. Parenting is not that simple especially if your family have 24 hours internet access. With that said, you're living an above average life where almost everyone in the house has smartphone and laptop. Stricted internet sites is just so simple to access too for an above average kids. With that kind of life, parents are busy making money to make their kids live a good life. And this kind of family where kids act on their own and simply tries everything what can be done in the internet.

Ofc, even in the lower categories do something like this too, even just living an average life or even below where most poor guys act like betting their life for gambling.

The only thing that is possible is to avoid the kids getting influenced by the adults, where gambling cannot be seen in the premise and do other things instead.

Indeed, with the technology that we have today, it is too difficult to learn what your kids are browsing over the net. Also, if I may add, you can also instill the concept of how to take care of their money or financials. I know, it is too early for these kids to learn their financial aspect of life. But you can already introduce the basic things about money, how you earn your money, how can they save money. Because if you are open to them with such discussions, maybe, they will learn how to value their funds.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🎰🏈🃏[ANN] GAMBL.io - Welcome to Gaming 3.0... The Blockchain Betting Solution on: June 18, 2022, 09:41:56 PM
Things are starting to heat up, along with those summer temps. The end of Q2 is fast approaching and with it the release of more information about the GAMBL sale.

Join the GAMBL telegram to stay on top of the updates and be among the first to get information about the project and the wider industry as a whole.

Also to follow along and cheer for our team member and 2014 WSOP main event champion Martin Jacobson as he competes for his second bracelet, along with many of the other WSOP events he is playing in.

https://t.me/GAMBLCoin

May I ask if you have private investors on this project? Do you think you can launch this gaming platform without any crowdsourcing activities? Based from my impression, it seems the team is well-prepared. You already won the top blockchain stellar award, which means, you've been developing this gaming platform for quite a while already.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any kinds of altcoin gives constant rewards? on: June 17, 2022, 11:49:10 PM
If you mean constant rewards that are like staking then there are some altcoins that we can indeed rely on such as NMX and USF which currently give rewards that are given constantly, but you must know in the crypto world no one can always give us constantly, especially with the current market situation, of course, many altcoins that are already floating can no longer even give the best for investors.

If the OP wants to check on gambling token of betfury like BFG, because holding this token will give you daily dividends in btc, eth, bnb, usdt and trx. So for me, right now, this is one good option to earn daily dividends as the casino itself is doing good with their business. So I am not seeing them to disappear anytime soon.
The OP can also check the staking option in binance, I have trust on this exchange as compared to others as the funds are in SAFU. With their staking, you can earn your daily interest depending on the plan that you subscribed with them.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real-estate & Crypto on: June 17, 2022, 11:05:46 PM
Many people are skeptical about cryptocurrency, so they will not want to sell their assets for crypto. This is the most unstable currency; for example, bitcoin is worth less than 25 thousand dollars, although before, bitcoin was worth 70 thousand.
Isn't there a lot of stable coins in crypto that can be used to make these transactions? If the asset is traded with crypto assets it will not be difficult even though the price has decreased in value because the pair with Fiat will continue to follow the nominal that must be paid at that real time.

Up until today, very few that you will read that someone is paying crypto for real-estate purchase. I guess, it will only happen if the seller is already into crypto and if he wants to receive payment in crypto. Otherwise, even these crypto projects dedicating in real-estate is finding it difficult to penetrate this market because it is hard to sustain this business. Many people still prefer the traditional way of payment method when it comes to real-estate business. If someone is paying crypto with his real-estate purchase, it will hit the news. Which translates that, it is a big deal for real-estate and so the adoption is still rare.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 17, 2022, 09:18:39 PM
I'm afraid it is a really tough situation for Celtics now. They are 3-2 behind and this is troubling for them a lot. They didn't play badly actually in the previous game but Warriors still found a way to win this game. They were better in the final quarter once again. Celtics are still struggling to keep up with them in this quarter and they need to find a solution for this. In case they experience this again, they are done. Celtics shouldn't waste this big opportunity to win the title after a long break.

The momentum is clearly on the Warriors but closing/winning a series is very hard to do that is why tomorrow's game is very exciting at least for me. Celtics have done a very good job on limiting the offensive output of Steph Curry in game5 but the Warriors has lot of weapons offensively that put the Celtics in a difficult situation on game6.

One thing I have observed is that Boston did not exploit the mismatch that was happening down low (Curry guarding Robert Williams), they were so in love on taking that outside jumpers. This might be one of the many adjustments the Celtics will do come game6.

Warriors used this momentum in favour of them in a really fascinating way in Game 6. Celtics weren't able to defend them as usual also. They didn't even seem like they were eager to win the title. They made so many defensive mistakes and Warriors benefited from many of them. This helped them open a really big gap with Celtics until the end of the game. Celtics still need to improve themselves but their effort so far has still been amazing to follow. They made me excited about their title chance.

I lost a lil bit as I bet on Celtics, but I'm not angry or anything, because Warriors really did deserve to win on this one. Lucky for those who bet on Warriors because the odds were nice. Another scenario that sportsbooks don't really get it right all the time. Congratulations to those who bet on Warriors!
Another shining moment for Curry though.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Problem, Is it Possible to be a Thing of the Past? on: June 16, 2022, 11:09:07 PM
Self-exclusion still need to another feature, example : Banned his IP, so he can't comeback again to the casino.

Even the user/customer already closed the account the chance he will opening the new account are still higher maybe around 80%. If he not opening new account, most the time he will gamble in other site.

Gambling addiction still a hardest problem need to be cure ~XD

Because this problem depends entirely on the person himself. Whatever the site or other people will do, it won't matter if the person himself don't have the motivation to change for the betterment of his life. This will always be a problem in this industry. Because there are people who won't change their perspectives in life.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: June 16, 2022, 10:07:26 PM
This is the reason choosing the best of the best altcoin is really important if anyone really want to accumulate, it's because they are the ones that most likely could score a really great performance and as a result a greater return of investment than most of the other altcoins.
Considering the fact that, most of the altcoins are gonna be replaced with the newer ones, but that's only for the ones that are just really bad in term of quality. Basically, the ones that are having great quality still persists.

If you will look at the top alts, let's say ETH, BNB, for me, they are worth the risk. Because the team behind it is solid and won't disappear just like many other alt projects. Their respective dev teams are in continuous pursuit of innovating their network. Though we can't say that their future is absolutely very bright, but in comparison with most projects, they are much better for me, in my opinion. So yes, you can explore your opportunities with alts, but you need to make sure you do your job of scrutinizing them.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 16, 2022, 08:34:36 PM
I remember this same argument when we are at group , Someone pointed that it is casinos fault to not finding every bugs and problems their site might experience first before releasing the game .
but some pointed that if you are not a greed gambler and a fair one? then you will be exposing those problem instead of abusing so for me personally ? it is  always the abuser that will be in blame here , because not the advantage is what we need to talk but the honesty .

It is one thing to use some kind of casino error in the program (and in an honest way) - only the casino is to blame here. And it's another matter to break the explicitly prescribed rules by creating multi-accounts and repeatedly receiving a bonus that is provided according to the rules once. Obviously, these are different situations, and only the cheater is to blame for the second - the one who breaks the rules.

I believe both sides have the responsibility on this matter. Site owners should secure their platform as free from bugs and other potential problems from attackers. Whereas, from the players' end, they should not abuse the site if there will be promos and other bonuses offered. However, you can't expect both to happen. At some point, one will fail to do their part. But at the end of the day, one should take care of their own business, because if not, they are the ones who will be losing their business.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 15, 2022, 09:46:39 PM
Fraudsters should take the blame of course. Who else? Why would you blame the casino? Abusing the promotions is theft. That’s why casinos are pretty sensitive over the multi accounters. Even if you multi acc’ed mistakenly or for innocent reasons, you’ll get a kick in the butt quickly.

If people weren’t abusing the platforms heavily, then casinos would be more chill about it but no, people are greedy and have to destroy any loophole they find.

This is why for the sake of the casino's bankroll, they need to protect from these fraudsters. Yes, we can blame these scammers, but the casino needs to take action on how to prevent such abuse, because blaming only without action will just cost their bankroll to decline. So better invest on their security protocols before abusers drain their vaults. That's the human nature, being greedy and it is the site that needs to prohibit this kind of attitude.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 15, 2022, 08:50:59 PM

As to what to do next, we actually don't have a lot of choices. It would either be to HODL, to continue with DCA, or to give in to fear and convert. Obviously, the final option is not wise.

Yeah I think the final option or suggestion is not wise at the moment. The fall has already happened or is beginning to happen because nobody knows the stop point but if price can fall from $60k above to barely a shadow of price going at $20,073, maybe we are approaching the bottom. So hodling is far better than converting to USDT , it is rather late for the decision.

I am also on this decision. If you will convert now into stablecoin, you are already losing a lot. But if you have the notion that this market will recover in the very near future, as we always observed in the past, then, better hold off. Some people have no choice but to cash out as they have immediate needs, this situation is understandable. But if you have other means, weigh your options and holding may be your best option not to suffer losses at this period. Because if you will not sell, you will not lose, right?
51  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎥 YouTube Overview event for $10 000|👉BFG in iToken Wallet👈 on: June 15, 2022, 08:12:03 PM

Check them by yourself https://betfury.io/daily-tasks and make a decision if them are interesting or not. For me, they are new features Cheesy

They don't look appealing at all for me. As example: " win 5 times in Crash with a multiplier higher or equal to 10". Minimum bet size is 1.5$ and the reward is 0.00005$... I hope they will revise these as I can not imagine that a lot of people really fulfill a lot of the daily tasks for such a low rewards. A new feature or not, it is not really beneficial.

But I am certain, some of these gamblers will not notice the amount of the reward but what they will do is try to complete the tasks.  Tongue Anyway, if you are a regular player, those rewards will just be a bonus for you. What I like about betfury is they try to keep adding new features like the Fury Charge. So for higher ranks, they have features that they can explore with and get the benefits out of it.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: June 15, 2022, 07:30:05 PM
Yes, keeps adding Bitcoin aside from altcoins because this is the safest and most profitable in long term investments and we should learn to wait and support legit coins than those Pump and dump project that will surely make you hit the ground if did not take the chance selling in hyping season .
Do you mean only focus on buying Bitcoin? I don't think we need to ignore altcoins, altcoins also have a good potential profit. But we must be careful to choosing altcoins to buy. Don't buy altcoins that have no clear fundamentals, especially those new altcoins. It is better to buy top altcoins that seem to have a good future and are supported by most crypto users. We can analyze the volume of its transactions on exchanges to know how well people support those altcoins.
I don't know if you fully understand what I posted here but it is clearly I mentioned "KEEPS ADDING BITCOIN" but i did not mention not to buy altcoin , what  i Say is optional , if you wanted safer investment then best to buy Bitcoin in this dumping season , but of course buy altcoin that moving great or lowering now as there is many chances to earn when the market return to Bull running like what happened constantly.
dump now and Pump tomorrow.

If you do really want a bit of assurance with your portfolio, having bitcoin for me is also a must. When most of these alts are disappearing, btc stays. There will be promising and valuable alts to hold, but yes, that is for you to evaluate and study which one of them are worth holding to. Because let us admit, most of them are launched for the sake of the dev team's pockets. Very few has the sincerity to develop them into something useful for the public consumption. This is why, it is very risky when it comes to alts, you have no idea of the project's longevity in the market as it depends mostly on the team.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 14, 2022, 11:15:47 PM
Do you think the speculation of cryptocurrency in Twitter and reddit is cogent, Yes their is atoms of Truth coming from their speculation but i don't duely concur in such speculation, i still making the same emphasis on bitcoin continuation dropping in values, i will say that the one major factors that is contributing immensely for Bitcoin decrement is because of the war between this two existing countries we do know officially, so with such war it's quite understood that bitcoin they bring down the level of investor's into bitcoin market. And the originator of it's falling is determine by the demand and supply of the marke. I think it's obvious.

Everything in crypto is based on speculation, and as much as we see a lot of social media that devote their time on crypto like Reddit and Twitter, still it's not going to be 100% truth.

And the OP should change the title of the thread, we have dropped massively, not to $31k to to $21k in the last 48 hours. It shake the market again and we might be seen going back as low as <$20k which is going to be very scary to think.

Yes, that's very right! I didn't expect that we will go down to this level. But hey, this is a very unpredictable market. In no time, we may be seeing it rising again. If you want to take advantage of what's happening right now, make smart choices, weigh your options and assess possible repercussions. It is on your own hands how you will get good profits from this situation.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Celsius in trouble ?!? on: June 14, 2022, 07:31:53 PM
Celsius to blame for the latest crash now ? What is going on here ? I thought Celsius was the safest bet in town after Binance !
You should have post the link about what is going on with Celsius though.

Maybe this Twitter thread can help with an explanation of what is wrong with Celsius. it seems that some of their business moves were not the smartest or at least they are not the best for their clients/investors.
https://twitter.com/jonwu_/status/1536476104986267648?s=20&t=U_pAlNZm53n3IWVD0lK4vg
I just finished reading the thread on twitter and i must say this, if all that the guy said about celsius is true, then my guess is that we are about to have another luna experience and i think we should brace ourselves up for it.
Celsius is one of the projects i followed right from their early days but i had to leave at some point, after what happened to luna, am not at all happy because it feels like same thing is about to happy to celsius and i really pray it doesnt, atleast for the sake of investors who might have invested their life savings, and also for that sake of crypto currency in general, this is because the more this things keep happening, the more potential investors(those that are yet to come into crypto) are turned off due to fear of loosing their money.

For those CEL holders, or users in celsius network, you may want to assess their situation right now. If you are still in profit with your holdings, I believe better think of getting out while you can. This can easily very well end up like Luna. They are showing some alarming warnings already and that twitter user is already giving out some scenarios. Now, think if those scenarios make sense to you. And act what you think is the appropriate thing to do. Some hints are already out there, but at the end of the day, it is you who can decide what to do with your portfolio.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 14, 2022, 06:27:44 PM
That is definitely an interesting question, having high odds does seem a bit dangerous at times and there are people who would specifically want to play for low odds overtime so they are able to get the full advantage of a certain situation without risking it all, but having high odds might be advantageous in situations where you are 100% sure that it's going to happen so some players might close their eyes and think of it as a safe bet as well. I do think that many points made here about the parlay is not even relevant because only some sports book offers it and you won't be finding it in your normal sites that often.

In some sports like boxing, you can really find higher odds especially for the underdog boxer. And some of them can really pull off an upset. So if you have the feeling that an upset will happen, you can very well place a bet for the underdog. This is the sports where I usually bet on higher odds. But when it comes to basketball, I prefer to bet on low odds as I know, the chance of winning of that team is high. So it is better for me to win small rather than totally lose my bet. Which means, that this decision sometimes depends on the sports you are betting on, your confidence about the outcome and how far you want to take the risk.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you spend 1 satoshi a day, you will spend 1 BTC is 3 years, 2 months & 1 Day on: June 13, 2022, 10:13:00 PM
If you spend 1 satoshi a day, you will spend 1 BTC is 3 years, 2 months & 1 Day...
How cool is that? 3... Years, 2... Months and... 1 Day... lol.  Grin

With fees, very possibly!

But this is just theoretical because in reality, we can't spend 1 sat alone, not considering the fees alone. It is not yet valuable enough to spend this in any merchant or shop. So right now, I don't know what's the valuable input here for this topic. Maybe, just for the sake of discussion only.  Tongue
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 13, 2022, 08:56:44 PM
I didn't believe the drop below 25k would happen this month and it literally happened overnight. I guess now I will believe those analysts who said it would drop to 20k or even lower. Right now bitcoin is below 24k and it looks terrible. There will definitely be no crypto market recovery in June.

I didn't too.  I really though 27k - 28k support would hold.  But yeah..  didn't end well.  Looking at from a more positive perspective, at least we got that over and done with.  But the 2018 PTSD lingers.  I already have an idea of what the poll would be for my July sentiment thread.  Cheesy  I mean since we're all down, might as well have a laugh about it.  We could be in a bear market for at least a year imo.

I, on the other hand, believe that this is just temporary. I don't think we will be in the bearish mode for long. But we can all have our own sentiments on this market. And from that, you are free to do what you want to do with your funds. But didn't expect that we will touch the $23k. I was thinking that the decline will stop at $25k and will go back up again. But this will be an interesting month. Can we recover fast and move to $30k again?
58  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔹1win.pro 🔹| iGaming Platform | Crypto&Fiat | Bonus +500% To the first deposit on: June 13, 2022, 03:50:11 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk.org sir and congratulation for your company.

Here you'll find the best bitcoin gambling community. I like your website, but please, add more promotion.

PS: I've sent to you a PM  Wink Wink

Have you seen their 500% deposit bonus but you can only avail a max of $1150 deposit bonus, which means, if you deposited at least $230? That's very generous already but keep an eye on other conditions like bets should have coefficient of more than 3 to activate their bonus. But hey, if you are an avid sportsbettor, their deposit bonus is a very attractive promotion. Also, check out their current twitter promotion.

@1win, is the twitter giveaway of $5k be equally divided to those 200 lucky winners?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PoS vs PoW later this year on: June 12, 2022, 11:49:23 PM
The first thing that I've thought of is the supply of GPUs, there will be more again in the market and supply will be flocking again so that means a lower price for GPUs and I can buy a new one, hehe.  Grin
Talking about the possible price of Ethereum, it's only one way up and there would be some scenarios like what we're experiencing right now and it's a normal thing. Eventually, if the transition is a success, we'll not see the impact of it as soon as possible. Just like halving for its effect, we'll see that after several months.

My take on eth price in the future is, they will further increase its value in the market as it is not developed by scam artists. PoS or PoW, it doesn't matter to me. As long as the eth dev team is continuously innovating their network, they can do whatever is necessary to catch the changing requirements of the community. I have high regards on eth dev team, so I believe, they won't fail their supporters. We may not see the steep climb but that's fine, as long as they are developing a significant improvement in their network, the increase of value will come later.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Help for investment in new projects on: June 12, 2022, 10:18:04 PM
Very much like the shilling of the project in an attempt to advertise a new project, not an investment of a newcomer. The project site is some kind of slow, windows do not always open, and on the main page it says Tokonomics. I wonder, before launching all this, they checked the site for errors and performance?

LOL Cheesy, I agree with you, this is just his way for promoting this project, but even so, it seems that the website they have is quite professional with an explanation of what features are in DragonSpace.

If we talk about the project itself, now is not the best time to launch GameFi, the industry is going through bad times and the number of active users is constantly decreasing, there is no special influx in the industry, now if there are any cash inflows, they are concentrated around m2e projects, and the crypto game industry is now in a freeze.

It is true that the current hype is about Move-to-Earn (M2E) so it will be more promising to invest there. If I had the funds and wanted to find a new project, I would definitely not choose a project on a P2E basis. But what is quite unique here is that they have managed to collect 108 BNB at PinkSale, this has even reached their softcap. You can see it at the following link: https://www.pinksale.finance/launchpad/0xaaba6172710a4470c34C55885c119C894B794679?chain=BSC

For most users here, we are not easily convince by this discreet promotion of the project. We look beyond what is offered. The project mentioned doesn't ring a bell to me. But maybe, they have the chance to survive depending on how the team will develop this platform. So it is up to the OP or user how he will keep up to date with the project if he is interested with it. Some are promising at the start but later on, the dev team will slowly wane their enthusiasm of developing the project owed to various reasons like lack of funds, and no long-term vision.
