I think it cannot be use it from now, because, not all the people know bitcoins, they are all wondering how does the bitcoin works?, How we can transact on bitcoins?, and what will be our securities?. For me, first, we must promote bitcoins to be well known for all who will use the bitcoins.
but in internet we can found more merchand accepting bitcoin right now. also we can buy bitcoin directly use credit card so bitcoin is so populer in internet life.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Gold linux instalation (FULL NODES) on: February 19, 2018, 10:34:51 AM
Hello ~

So I have been asked many times what did I do to get my Bitcoin Gold Full Node going. I am going to share my build directions to you all and if you have any questions let me know.

To get the latest version of Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS head over to the download section of the Ubuntu page at http://releases.ubuntu.com/16.04/

Install and Setup the x64 Bit system for your Hardware. You need Min. install with SSH Server

Once done with Ubuntu install follow the below directions.

1) sudo apt-get update

2) sudo apt-get install -y curl git build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config bsdmainutils python3 libx11-xcb-dev libfontconfig-dev

3) sudo apt-get install -y build-essential libtool autotools-dev automake pkg-config libssl-dev libevent-dev bsdmainutils libsodium-dev

4) sudo apt-get install -y libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-chrono-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-test-dev libboost-thread-dev libboost1.58-all-dev

5) sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev

6) sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev

7) git clone https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU.git

8 ) cd BTCGPU/depends

9) make

10) cd ..

11) ./autogen.sh && ./configure –prefix=/root/BTCGPU/depends/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu –disable-shared && make -j 4

You are going to have to create a conf file for the Daemon to use.

How to create conf file
touch $HOME/.bitcoingold/bitcoingold.conf
Add this config to conf:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcport=18337
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=128.199.226.221
addnode=46.101.195.208

Command line start of your newly installed Full Node. Below is the start I use

./bgoldd -rest -server -rpcuser=user -rpcpassword=pass-rpcport=18337 -deamon -printtoconsole -showmetrics -conf=/root/.bitcoingold/bitcoingold.conf

Note: Make sure you change the user name and password in the bitcoin.conf file and the startup script to your desired login and password.

51  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: how to claim Bitcoin gold from Block.io ? on: February 19, 2018, 05:41:25 AM
Ok... so after the OP contacted me and provided some details... I was able to "liberate" the BTG from the block.io MultiSig SegWit wallet as follows:

Requirements: FULLY synced Bitcoin Gold Core (needs to be fully synced so that it detects that SegWit has been activated) that IS NOT "pruned" (so you can -rescan)

Step 1 - Get your private key data from block.io, this will be in the form:
Quote
* Address: 33o4MoDSFrfKSznHLBzwKigpTQvMiWWsHr
* Address Type: P2WSH-over-P2SH
* Required Signatures: 2
* Redeem Script: 2 035fdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadedf1 029c7bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb90d92 OP_CHECKMULTISIG
* Redeem Script Hex: 522xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx2ae
* Public Keys: ["035fdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadedf1", "029c7bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb90d9"]
* Private Keys: ["L4nSdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddBZ", "L32eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaE"]

* Complete. Handle with secrecy. Do not share. Do not store insecurely.
You will need the bits highlighted in BOLD, namely the private keys and public keys.

Step 2 - In Bitcoin Gold Core, import the two private keys that you got from block.io

In the Debug Console (Help -> Debug Window -> Console), use the following commands:
Code:
importprivkey "L4nSdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddBZ" "" false
importprivkey "L32eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaE" "" false

Step 3 - In Bitcoin Gold Core,  create the "legacy" multisig for the addresses you just imported, by using "Public Keys"

In the Debug Console, use the following command:
Code:
addmultisigaddress 2 '["035fdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadedf1", "029c7bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb90d9"]'
NOTE: You can just copy/paste the "Public Keys" from block.io output

This will output the "Legacy" Multisig Address like: GGtN2fhfhgfhgfhgfhgfgfhgfhfghMASB

Step 4 - In Bitcoin Gold Core, create the "SegWit" address for the multisig address you just created

In debug console:
Code:
addwitnessaddress "GGtN2fhfhgfhgfhgfhgfgfhgfhfghMASB"

This will output the "SegWit" Multisig Address like: AHsv5kad3716AoHqmjzg3yaynVZLV7yuxN

NOTE: You can confirm you have done it successfully, by copy/pasting the "3"-Address from block.io into https://btgexplorer.com/ It will automatically convert the BTC address to the BTG one:

Once you have successfully created the "A"-Address in Bitcoin Gold Core, you need to shut it down, and restart it with the -rescan parameter. Then after waiting for it to rescan the blockchain, you should find all your BTG showing. You can then just send coins as you normally would with the Bitcoin Gold Core GUI and send all the BTG to the BTG address of your choice.

PROTIP: If you have multiple addresses from block.io, I'd recommend recreating them ALL in Bitcoin Gold Core first BEFORE you do the -rescan... as -rescan takes a LONG time Tongue

That's really usefull Cheesy

54  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [coinb.in] Open Source, Multi Signature, HD Wallet and more! on: February 17, 2018, 08:21:56 AM
can you support : P2WSH-over-P2SH ?
im tried use multisign but seem not same as my type wallet
55  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: how to claim Bitcoin gold from Block.io ? on: February 17, 2018, 08:17:50 AM
I believe that it is a 2-of-2 MultiSig... so it would appear you have access to required private keys.

As far as I can tell, the problem is that you simply cannot create the SegWit MultiSig address from the Legacy MultiSig address any more... as noted in that link, the "createwitnessaddress" command was removed from Bitcoin Core (so it also doesn't exist in BitcoinGold Core)...

Without that functionality, I don't know of any easy way to "convert" the legacy MultiSig (P2SH) address to a SegWit MultiSig (P2WSH-over-P2SH)... Undecided

However, what I've just tried is using Bitcoin Core 0.13.0 (The last version of Bitcoin Core with the "createwitnessaddress" command, it doesn't even need to be synced!)... and it seems to create the same P2WSH-over-P2SH... using "createwitnessaddress".

ie. from block.io:
Quote
* Address: 35x8Y6r9e4hnwPQ9y6RgEzgvCZ2urLmJJA
* Address Type: P2WSH-over-P2SH
* Required Signatures: 2
...
* Public Keys: ["02b5a89a361fe7cc2aea909700f11a53c72fce3d1f10ccb9411d943dd2e6b00646", "03e8086a8f5160d161536557b02f24f49644d414b4d5ea43e4f9f6a596d655e31b"]

Using Bitcoin Core 0.13.0:
Quote

createmultisig 2 '["02b5a89a361fe7cc2aea909700f11a53c72fce3d1f10ccb9411d943dd2e6b00646", "03e8086a8f5160d161536557b02f24f49644d414b4d5ea43e4f9f6a596d655e31b"]'

{
  "address": "3GhvcWciiLjhH4avpBhpU749W5qXZmLTRe",
  "redeemScript": "5221..........52ae"
}

createwitnessaddress 5221..........52ae

{
  "address": "35x8Y6r9e4hnwPQ9y6RgEzgvCZ2urLmJJA",
  "witnessScript": "0020..........8f1a"
}

Theoretically, one should then be able to use BitcoinGold Core, the redeemScript, the witnessScript and the two private keys from block.io to manually create a transaction and sign it (following the instructions here:  Step 4 - Spending the MultiSig)

Unfortunately, I don't have any BitcoinGold to try and test my theory... Tongue So I can't guarantee it will work... but it shouldn't cost you anything to try, except a bit of time Wink

 i will contact you via PM send the detail
56  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: anyway to import wallet from block.io? on: February 17, 2018, 08:15:26 AM
I think you can import your wallet from block.io since your wallet is multisig wallet this is one of the hardest thing to recover because if you use the mnemonic seed BIP39 to electrum in standard wallet you can recover only the p2pkh address first symbol(1) but the p2sh address start symbol(3) not included..

But if you really wanted to recover it to your electrum wallet the only thing that i know is to recover and import it into electrum using mnemonic seed that you got from block.io..
But this part is hard because you need to use some tools online but i don't know if its safe there are many members here recommend this tool but i really don't know if its safe or not you can try it in your own risk..

Or you have to manually or otherwise extract the private keys from your MultiBit HD wallet/seed...

Automated (but technical) method requiring use of python scripts: https://github.com/HardCorePawn/multibit_recovery

Manual method:
- Create offline version of https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/
- Put in your MultiBit HD seed
- Set Derivation Path -> BIP32
- Set Client = "MultiBit HD"
- Copy all the address/private keys (click show more until you are sure you have more than all the addresses you ever used)
- Set Client = "Custom" -> Set Derivation Path = m/0'/1
- Copy all the change addresses/private keys (click show more until you are sure you have more than all the addresses you ever used)

Once you have all your private keys:
- In Electrum -> New/Restore -> Standard Wallet -> Create a new seed
- Once wallet is created, "Wallet -> Private Keys -> Sweep"
- Paste in all the private keys you got from automated or manual method

You should now have all your coins in an Electrum HD Wallet.

You can only get the private key which is p2pkh addresses that include you bitcoins just skip the multibit hd from the method ..

Why you honestly wanted to import your wallet from block.io? i saw your thread that you wanted to redeem or get your bitcoin gold ..
Note: to do this better to transfer your bitcoin instead to segwit address in electrum it should be a good choice and more advantage than  the legacy wallet..

i cant do it, i cant acces the bip32, i only get  P2WSH-over-P2SH private key, how to convert this private key to bip32?

offcourse i have some btg and currently i want to claim it.

* Required Signatures: 2

* Redeem Script: 2 xxcxxxx xxxxxx 2 OP_CHECKMULTISIG

i will give the privekey detail at PM if you interesting, and the bitcoin gold amount will be yours as fee.

the final balance is 0.14btg

For now I have added those images as a tutorial https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions#standard-wallets-2 but probably it's not enough

Could you please email me for your case? Don't send me the private keys of course, not sure to get "P2WSH-over-P2SH" for your multisig address, need to take a look

send you via PM
