41  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASICPuppy.net - 2pacs in Stock! BTC,LTC,ETH,BCH and more on: December 07, 2017, 01:40:34 PM
I'm trying to figure here out how a moonlander can be profitable in anyway for litecoin, please help me.

For a 5Mh/s that makes around 0.1 dolares per day without electricity (according to cryptocompare calculator), costing the price it costs, it takes around 2 years for the Roi. What i'm missing?

Hi there,

I agree with trplzr, paying bills would be a great thing. Also services like subscriptions (netflix, blizzard, xbox live, etc). If you have a regular incoming is good to pay a regular expense (for example for miners with a regular flow of coins).

Online shoping is also good, but in many you can already pay with other services like paypal, payeer (that has btc), the altcoin add would be very good 2, no need to convert.
43  Local / Portugal / Re: Converter BTC em Euros Regularmente on: September 28, 2017, 01:33:30 PM

48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - China bans Bitcoin yet again. This time for real. on: September 27, 2017, 04:24:23 PM
Well, the true is that bitcoin hold it and it's going up again, and even with all those announcements, the so called china's ethereum hold it good 2 and growing.
I think that we can look at this as a indicator that you just need to move the action to a country that accepts it (japan in this case and singapura for what i've saw is gaining terrain also) and everything will be fine.
It's that panic sell off that makes everything goes wrong.

And again...it's China, they do this with everything, and probably in a few weeks they will announce that they accept it again in they're conditions, exchange house under gov rules etc...one thing they love it to shake economies.

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Help with 2 AMD GPU's on: September 27, 2017, 01:37:35 PM
Hi there,

I have a small gpu rig but i need help with 2 of the gpu's.

One is a RX570 4GB. I've been mining with it for like 2 months and half / 3 now. First month and half was mining eth all good around 25Mh/s, with claymore, no deep OC , just MSI Afterburner clock ticks and control temp etc. After that i've installed a new beta version of MSI AB (from website) and i've lost all capability to tick mem and core clock. After a few tries i've went into Wattman and it was good again.
After that i've changed droped claymore and went to nicehash miner (mostly because of my other gpu i need to talk about but ill get to it) and started mine eth + dacred, stable 2, no problem at all. Sundently this GPU started throttling with eth, and eth + dacred on hashimoto scripts. It gives me 5-8Mh/s on eth and droped dacred alot 2. But when i activate the mining in nicehash to go for cryptonight trough sgminer it goes for 566 h/s (a value quite normal i think for this gpu non OC at all).
Any one can help me figure out why it goes nice for crypto but for hashimoto in eth it throttles? (the temperature diff for both is like 4-5 degrees, 67º for crypto and 71-72º for hashi.

Second GPU is a AMD Radeon 290x Tri-x 4Gb, well, i know this is a very hot board...but..i get hellish, since my MSI AB got broke i can't control well the temperature of this board, and going for claymore on mining eth it can get as high as 94º (top i let it go..always turned before passing this point)
The only way i can control it fine is going with nicehash and with crypto scripts (if i go for hashi the board goes nicely for around 30mh/s but temp goes very very very high). With crypto i stays sable at 80º.

Anyone can help me figure out 2 first, why MSI AB got dead on me and what can i do to get this board more fresh mining eth, cause i'm losing quite a little mining crypto.

Thanks
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New Miner here... Did I forgot something ? on: September 27, 2017, 01:10:06 PM
I mine BTC with NiceHash for now Wink

I believe that what he was trying to say it that is mining with GPU and it's deposit directly into nicehash wallet in btc, but he still mines gpu scripts like daggerhashimoto and cryptonight etc but it gets converted into BTC by nicehash and then deposit.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: August 09, 2016, 03:23:37 PM
Damn, and i'm always complaining about my salary Sad.
My salary it's not always fixed, and i get somewhere around 1500-2000$ after taxes, depending on bonus or extra work i do, and i work on an outsourcing system, knowing that the client its paying around double that what i won before taxes.
After paying rent, electricity, water and all those fixes expenses, since i'm dividing it with my girl. I get with around 500-700$ per month, that now days goes to spend with my new born child Smiley.

Ps: i live in Portugal
