SHA-256 leaves the coin in the hands of the ASICs. It is nothing to point a petahash of SHA-256 at a pool. Scrypt is the most common algo for a scam and also has a lot of miners to rent. Again, will be controlled by big rigs. X11 is again slightly better, but still will be very easy for a few miners to take control of the coin. I don't know what the best is to setup, but the worst two would be SHA-256 and Scrypt. X11 is not much better, and pretty much every algorithm is the same when it comes to that. Unless it's GPU and ASIC resistant. Haven't seen an algorithm like that yet. Thank you for your noteworthy thoughts will definitely take them into account choosing algorithm SFC. |
