I do as well but I'm used to it always being silent here and not knowing when to expect updates. Who knows where crypto will go from here anyways. It's already been 4 years since bitcoin's price exploded and it went main stream. What crypto development should be focused on is user experience. That's what drives someone to use something or not. What's the user experience right now for sonic? Probably zero. Even bitcoin seems to have little user experience these days. It's just a commodity that people buy and sell. How could you develop crypto that embodies both anonymity and user experience as one?

So hows the updates coming along?

The price fluctuations are interesting. I can never figure out why it swings so much. On a positive note we are averaging much higher than we were last year.

After everything is updated to where it should be I don't see any reason why this coin couldn't be worth as much as Monero or even Ethereum.

Also there is no link to the "Slack" group chat on the Sonic website. Look for yourself http://www.sonic-coin.com/

Here's a question for the developer. There has not been any updates to the twitter page since October 2014. What reasons does he have for not posting an update for such a long time? That's over a year!

So what's been going on? Price of btc is on the rise again... And our price dropped again after being up for a week or so. Yet no one is saying anything.

Good news for all crypto. http://www.wired.com/2016/01/project-aims-to-unite-bitcoin-with-other-online-currencies/

This could bring all crypto to the same price if this is possible and could counter any of the banks intentions to thwart crypto with centralized ledger based currencies. As it is right now all crypto investors and users are divided and could easily be conquered but we could unite under something like this and have more validity.

Merry Christmas everybody, now buy high and sell higher.

Ok so now that CISA passed I'm seriously starting to think that arg is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto and that this coin was designed specifically for this moment.

I better buy some more before this explodes and i can't afford it.

It's a Christmas miracle! Satoshi is arg! Even if he denies it that makes it even more true. Someone tell the press, satoshi nakamoto is developing an alternative coin!

Look I agree 110% with you guys wanting argakiig to come drop in and address your concerns. I have also expressed this to him. Without us there is no interest in the project and without us buying there is no financial support for the tech.

I also see his side which is.

He's busy and has made a ton of changes in his personal life as of late. He also doesn't want to be the subject of speculation for others to take advantage of the markets and other people.

At this point I don't expect him to make any appearances here. Hes had personal life changes going on since early spring so soon to be a year. I can understand his concern of being taken advantage of ...however as an investor in his coin I do expect communication between his "project team" and this forum. How he achieves it I dunno but Its what his investors want and he should take that more seriously. This isn't some high school fair project. Crypotcurreny might be trustless but the project development isn't.

I still think the best way to be more valid is to do the daunting legal stuff so we get more exposure to the general public. If only we had an angel investor who wanted to see SSD succeed then we could do projects like this. I'm not sure if we could crowd fund it.

Are you in slack? If so you should spit ball this idea with arg and hondo. At least there it would be easier to get some ideas going.

I thought we had you as a representative for that reason?

If the only way to communicate with Arg is through slack then I guess I need an invite. I think it should be easier than this to communicate but I guess slack is the cool way of doing things these days.

I mentioned contacting the same company that does weselldoges. I assume they buy the doge for a lower price than what they sell it. You can use credit and debit cards to buy also.

No one's going to pick up SSD for this sort of thing. One of us is going to have to make it. An exclusive SSD exchange that meets all the regulation BS, is simple to use and secure. Also I wanted to mention that crypto tend to focus on younger people being their main audience for development which should be changed. It should be focused on developing for older people because they have more stores of value saved over their lifetime. Younger people can learn more quickly and adapt to our complicated development process but they don't have that much to invest. Make it simple, accessible and secure and people will come.

There is a student loan bubble worth over $1.2 trillion getting ready to pop. Your going to want it to be ready for people to transfer their stores of value into this currency as a hedge. Listen. The masses are reactive, not proactive. We need to be proactive for them so when they react we are a viable option and not too complicated. Trying to develop the community first is like inviting handicapped kids in wheelchairs to a building with no ramps and then building the ramps while they wait. That's reactive. We should be proactive. Have the ramps ready!

What I want is an exchange where I can trade us dollars for SSD like Coinbase. How can we make that a reality?
