Thanks all for your input. We are not looking to throw in more free promotions at this time. We are not sure it would benefit us long term, the only thing it would do is increase the traffic short term.

As far as software goes, we like Mavens. It is simple, fast and does what it's supposed to do very well. We, for example, don't like the betcoin.ag software at all. But to each his own.

Hi, the site is not down for maintenance, there might be a problem with hosting. We are having our IT guys check into it. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will update you soon.

Update: We are still waiting to hear from our hosting company Qhoster. Their support is atrocious  Sad

I made a withdrawal about 12 hours ago, and it still hasn't arrived.. my first withdrawal took 22 hours, but every one after that happened relatively quickly. I don't think I waited more than an hour or two. I hope this one doesn't take too much longer. I'm so impatient! UGH

We were traveling yesterday and were not able to go online for several hours. All cashout requests have been processed and always will be within 24 hours - usually sooner. Transactions getting confirmed is another story and is out of our hands. Please check blockchain.info before stating that your funds haven't arrived.

Thanks Junko. Not a bad idea, we will talk to our IT guy about it. We agree about the bots and we wish we could remove them all, but at the moment they have to be there.

It is what it is dustboy. We've spent a lot of money on freerolls and bots have lost even more. We can't justify pouring more money into promotions as these only seem to attract grinders who cashout and go away as soon as promotions end. We don't blame them of course, but this type of players does not contribute to a successful poker site.

You guys are funny. No one can see your cards and you can't show them to other players either even if you wanted to. And if SHARK could see your cards I guarantee you he would not advertise that.
But he can't. No one can. Even we can't see your cards until the hand is finished. There's an option to show your cards on fold, when there are only 2 players left. But that's it. You can hide your cards by clicking on them, but that is just in case someone walks behind your back and you don't want them looking at your cards. It does not show the cards to the opponent.

We can't enforce minimum/maximum deposit because of the nature of bitcoin payments. We will adjust our FAQ accordingly. Minimum cashout remains 5,000 though, because of the associated miners' fees.

You guys will be able to cash-in your bonus points down the road. Just give us time, it will take the IT guy about 10 hours to implement it and test it and he is not cheap.

One last thing, as per recommendation by a player PERPETUAL tournaments 500 and 300 are back. Everything's the same except now there's a buy-in of 30+10 for 500 GTD and 20+10 for 300 GTD. Still a big overlay. Good luck all!

OK, we had to discontinue the freerolls, we were losing too much on those over time. We introduced 200+16 and 100+8 instead, with much faster blind/level structure. We hope you guys and girls will like it.

Somebody had asked a question about bots in tournaments - no, we never had any bots in our tournaments. We don't even own tournament bots, just NLH cash games bots.

What is the name of your affiliate? One of our players requested a cashout for 50,000 chips and we mistakenly cashed him out for 5,000. This happened because 5 other players requested a cashout for 5,000 around the same time (seems to be the most popular cashout amount Smiley ) and we misread his amount.

Anyway, we sent him the full amount and 5K extra to compensate for the trouble.

OK, as we anticipated not enough players.  Sad

Sorry guys. We will try again over the weekend.

Thanks H4T, you're doing a great job promoting our site!

OK, a 20K ADDED tournament created for tomorrow evening 8pm CET. The tournament will not start unless 12 or more players register. There's a quite a few players with 5K chips or more, so we'll see.

Good luck everyone!

OK, we're considering a 5000+400 MTT tomorrow, 12 players minimum, 20K chips ADDED. Would you guys be interested? We are not going to create it unless at least 8 of you here say you're interested.

Also, what level structure would you like? Down to 8 min levels to make it faster? But maybe 2000 chips instead of 1500? Let us know.

53  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 28, 2017, 06:33:32 AM
Thanks all for your input. We tried scheduled MTT a few times and most of the time there were not enough people registered, so we couldn't even start. But we will try again very soon.

H4T, we want to thank you publicly for pointing out the error in our tournament prize structure. You could have abused it and make hundreds of dollars, but you decided to be honest and we really, really appreciate it. Thank You!!!
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 26, 2017, 07:42:09 PM
Thanks H4T. We're still learning, it is a learning curve. Btw, are all your players being tracked to you now properly?

Thank you to Alice. We will implement many new features once we start breaking even. We can't justify any more expenses at the moment.
56  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 25, 2017, 10:19:10 AM
Thank you all for your input. We really appreciate it. Finding the right combination of free-chips and freerolls to attract the most players is a tricky endeavour of course.
True, we are bleeding money with the freerolls and the bots are losing even more. We anticipated this and are willing to pay the price for a few months, hoping we’ll have enough real and depositing players by then.

Gennady, we will add your (and everyone else’s) tournament fees to your bonus points retroactively. Give us a few days, the IT guy lives a life of his own and is more often busy than not.
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: August 24, 2017, 08:52:50 AM
Thank you for your input cjmoles and actmyname. The educational material is much appreciated. I spoke to our IT guy and he says unless there's back door in the Mavens software itself, it's highly unlikely anyone could hack into our system with any other software or set of tools.

Even if someone gained administrative access (which is highly unlikely) they could only alter the amount of chips which would probably be noticed by us sooner than later. All funds are stored off-line - so these can't be stolen, and there's no way they could see players' hole cards etc. That's according to our IT guy and we hope he's right  Smiley

We have added some smaller tournaments, it was a good call cjmoles. We've added 500, 1K and 2K full-tables and 6-handed, both regular and speed. We hope you guys and girls enjoy these.

I can't disclose how much Gennady won (I am sure you will do it himself anyway  Grin), but he did win A LOT.

It is not good for our website that bots are being ripped apart, but we anticipated it would happen and we had no choice. Gennady deserves all the money he won, he spends 10 hours every day on our website and I hope he wins much more (not from the bots though  Grin )

I like the Poker Mavens software but sets this site aside from the rest of the sites running Poker Mavens? http://www.pokermavens.net/  Isn't it easy to cheat the Mavens software with cheat engines? Are the withdrawals manual or automatic?  What kind of security to you insure? Bot detection? Collusion detection?  Multi-accounts?

Well, if you looked at other sites running the Mavens software, you'd know that many things set btckings.com apart from the rest of the sites. Design, layout, affiliate program (especially how easy it is to use - something we take a lot of pride in), automatic deposits - only one confirmation needed, great customer service, timely cashouts, various promotions, forum presence...

What exactly are 'cheat engines'?
Withdrawals are manual, but always in a timely manner.
No bot detection - we actually deploy bots as stated both on this forum and on our website.
No collusion detection. Collusion is overrated - i.e. it is really hard for 2 players to profitable collude against another players, it requires a lot of time and energy - especially if it is to go undetected by other players. If someone's going to collude at our micro games then good luck to them.
Our games are anonymous, no KYC etc., we only verify players' email address - in case they lose the password. In other words, we don't check for multi-accounts. We don't encourage them, but there's no way for us to prevent it. Anyway, it would not be in players' long term interest as they will be able to cash-in their bonus points in the future. And having 1000 bonus points in 2 separate accounts will be worth less than having 2000 bonus points in one account.

I hope this answers your question.

@iPhone 5 guy: Maven software is not really meant to be played on small mobile devices. It is possible, but we would not recommend it. Unless you're Gennady of course, that guy rocks his cell phone. BTW Gennady, why don't you buy a laptop? You sure won enough money off our poor bots to buy 10 laptops  Cheesy

We got a couple of inquiries from players asking how long it takes to process their cashouts. It will never take more than 24 hours and it will usually take less than couple of hours.

Please check blockchain.info before starting to panic. A few cashouts that we processed early this afternoon still have 0 confirmations. It is not something we have control over, but once you see your transaction on the blockchain.info you know we sent it and it is basically good as gold.
