They can build it somewhere in the mountains, mining farm at 4-5000 meters it's not a bad idea if you have electricity at this height. Also the temperatures will be more than perfect.
Currently I'm using Fedora with KDE, but It's not a good choice for beginners.
For a start use Ubuntu, because it's easy to use and it has the biggest community. You will find a solution for every problem. This is really important. If you have powerful PC try Kubuntu (Ubuntu + KDE), if your PC is older use Xubuntu (Ubuntu + Xfce). You could also check Mint, It's build on top of Ubuntu.
After year you can switch to another distro like Fedora, Gentoo, Arch or some of the others
You won't receive many or good answers with a question like that...
Of course you can mine with every GPU, but it depends what you want to do, one hobby rig, to build a mining farm in near future, do you pay for electricity or not? First compare the prices of the GPU's, After that check how many MH/s you will receive of every rig. After that find information about the power consumption of the cards and do the math.
I can write a lot more information but first make a little research and ask again.
It would be better for bitcoin i fthe money that was coming in was new money though. At the moment the drop of alts is just moving money from them over into bitcoin. The whole crypto scene will still have the same market cap. We arent making progress untill we can get some serious new money into bitcoin/alts.
totally agree
Before Litecoin was the silver but now I'm not sure which coin will rise with The King.
This is another high level of stupidity in crypto, buying a coin that is only banking on potential and that also can easily be fork by any Joe is madness of the new order. No fundamentals that justified that insane price
I don't believe that someone invest at this price, this was just a pump and dump where some people made money and others lose their money.
