This is now my top 5 Ethereum game, it's a bit addictive too.

Why was this thread locked for so long? You got a nice project going on there.
Hello! Thanks for that.
The thread was inactive, because we were preparing some updates for the game. Now as the game is ready the thread is also becoming active

So... it gets locked automatically just because it's inactive for a while? Odd forum.

Ethex team is busy coding it seems. Cheesy

That's how I understand it. Maybe the Ethex team could confirm or help us adjust the numbers with better math.

For their rare/frequent combination, which is "Guess the last 6 symbols of the next block hash", there are 166 possibilities (that's 16,777,216). With zero edge, for a 0.01 ETH bet you'd have to receive 167772.16 ETH, but you actually receive 0.128 ETH + superprize = 185.640728 ETH. Therefore the edge 1 - 185.640728 / 167772.16, and you'd multiply with 100 to find it in percentage.

You know what else you could add on the website? A simple dice game, that just seems like the kind of thing that everybody likes to play. And they could play it while waiting for a lottery draw, or while waiting to see if they get the daily jackpot.

Thank you for your idea. We are thinking about new games to be added and collecting some data on our customers' priorities.

And for a dice game, you'd probably find the web code and the smart contract already on the internet, for free. Just adapt it a bit and that's it.

I'd play that.

There's nothing missing when it comes to UI/UX. If I were you I wouldn't worry about it. And with this bull market that we're having now, you probably won't even have to bother with marketing. More and more users will come.

I agree, good job done in this area.

Or Ethex are seeding the jackpots themselves, which would be very laudable. I don't know if this is even possible through the current smart contract, I'm just speculating here.

I really loved the games.I think you should add more games. So we can enjoy more.

We are working on other games. Which ones would you prefer?

In a poll, I would vote that the main focus should be making this lottery global. It's really much easier to grow what you already have, and this isn't even at 0.1% of what it could be. More games will just make it like a complex & long menu at a restaurant - inefficient for the restaurant - lower profit, wasting the time of the buyer and making his decision more difficult.

Their idea of creating so many jackpots is quite genius. People just want to know that there's a chance to win something, at all times. Ethex gives them that, for a low cost.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (E)t)h)e)x) 🔥🔥🔥 What's the next ETH block symbols? Guess and get paid! on: June 15, 2019, 12:32:28 PM
It's 10 digits and 6 numbers per symbol.

I think the probability of guessing would be 166, which is 1/16777216

And don’t forget that every bet also plays for 4 jackpots: daily, weekly, monthly and season. Wink

So you can win a few months from now, and you'll have no idea that the money came from Ethex...

The jackpot payment simply lands in your ETH account, right?

Someone really needs to seed the prize pool on this one. And maybe not allow tickets lower than 0.1 ETH, so that the prize pool gets bigger faster. If people can't afford 0.1 ETH, they shouldn't be gambling in the first place.

That's complete bullshit , I had another on-chain game go that way and im telling ya it almost closed, ETH fees are just too much to make the ticket price smaller, otherwise there could be different pools, one for small bettors and one for important people, however, more than a fortune was made off pennies.
Also, perhaps better to just add a cheaper coin .

What's a "cheaper coin"? Just always gamble with the Safe Low from here as fee, and it should be cheap enough: https://ethgasstation.info

We are aimed to make Ethex adaptable and affordable for everyone to use and made the  minimum bet as low as 0.01 ETH. We believe that everyone has a chance to try a luck and win. To increase the prize pools we are looking into another way. We are working to attract private investments to fill the pot in exchange of the house edge revenue share. This will be the part of Ethex revenue share program.

You could find some private investors easily being top 3 in the gambling dapps. But if I were you, I'd do it now, while you're high in position.

By the way... I have a proposal. How about you have a bigger edge for the "casino" for a few months, until you build a bigger pot, and then move back to the current edge? That bigger pot would attract a lot more attention and users.

This is genius.

Great interface. Any chance to allow us to contribute to the pool with other tokens in the future? Like REP, MKR?

Yes, we have in our plans to add other erc20 tokens. We are currently in research of how to implement it in Ethex. Keep watching this thread for announcement.

Doesn't have to be a very complex implementation. Maybe integrate it somehow with Uniswap. By the way, it would be interesting if you could also make a lottery for Nano. That one has a lot of fans and users as well.

This is great. Can you do something like this for Nano as well?

Payments are public there, we were supposed to have a working mixer already, but things take too long. You're obviously qualified to do something like this for other cryptocurrencies as well...
Awesome mixer, good work on the UI/UX. Is there any plan on open sourcing the code, sometimes in the future?

Hello, thanks for the suggestion.
We will look into nano to see if that is feasible in the future.
Currently there are no plans to turn this project open source.
Will be here for anything,
BitCloak

I'm 100% sure it's feasible for Nano, and it will be faster too, and without fees. Hopefully I'm allowed to say this on this forum. I know that Bitcoin forums are usually heavily censored so that everything looks rosy for Bitcoin, like it's still a great tech and w/e. But thanks for BitCloak, last time I used it today. Without it Bitcoin would be unusable for my use cases.
