42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CHRONOBANK ICO on: November 17, 2016, 06:11:05 PM
Make a twitter campaign with rewards on https://theviralexchange.com so you'll reach out to more people..
i am not impressed and happy with the viral exchange!

chill, dev already said they will have a bounty campaign and i'm sure they will have a social media bounty(twitter+facebook+newsletter).
and i will definitely participate.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GEO] GeoCoin | GIS & GeoTechnologies on: November 15, 2016, 01:54:21 PM
Why aren't there any updates on the progress of this crypto and the supposed pokemon like app?  You would think it would be in everyone's interest to do so.  Something isn't right here...

yep..
i was a believer, but i'm out now. too much promises but nothing accomplished. To me, this pokemon like app was vaporware.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2016, 01:52:28 PM
they can hoard it but not control, btc is decentralized, noone can control it, you could try to pump but not control
Controling the hash is controling bitcoin.
they have a big prodution every day and they can "stop" the network(if china simple "turn off" bitcoin mining, we would be in big trouble).
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin woke up the Giants on: November 15, 2016, 01:48:45 PM
Do you think is going to affect the price? I see lots of banks re buying and storing BTC to deal with potential ransom requests but this is BS. I m sure BTC can be much more useful in the financial sector.
even if bitcoin itself isn't more useful, the technology will. I'm sure blockchain will be used by banks.
PS: i do believe bitcoin will be used in the future, all i'm saying is even if it isnt used, blockchain technology will.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What minor exchange would you trust? on: November 15, 2016, 01:41:43 PM
yobit and bittrex.
smaller than that is too risky, i wouldnt trust. and even at bittrex and yobit, generally i send some money, buy at i want and withdraw.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: November 15, 2016, 01:36:25 PM
Growing!

ATH 28.2K
this isn't ATH... have you seen the charts?..
i'm hoping for a big pump but it will probably consolidate at this range(which is normal).
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: November 15, 2016, 01:32:57 PM
Waves Dump! When the investors are deceived about the delivery of the nodes this is what happens ... Angry

That's the good and old "buy the rumor, sell the news"

oh btw, is this WAVES Shirt real?

Hope not... eth foundation isn't good advertising right now.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IOC][ I/O Digital ] I/O Coin - Blockchain Ecosystem - DIONS - CHAMELEON on: November 15, 2016, 01:30:27 PM

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 13, 2016, 06:36:32 PM
If you are from poor countries and you use bitcoin it can help you to level up your monthly income.

You need to have a different look on this whole subject as everyone here has their own definition of what's poor and what not. Are you talking about second world countries, or third world countries. In case of the latter, let's assume the following things are the case for a big part of the people living in third world countries.

# No internet.
# No computer.
# Language barrier.
# Zero understanding of tech.
# Old telephone with zero usable functionalities in this regard.
# No time for nonsense as they have to work real hard in order to just feed their family.

How and in what way do you think these people can level up their monthly income? Don't tell me through signature campaigns or faucets and all that stuff. Have the above mentioned things in mind.

you are taking the ultimate level of poverty. And in this case i do agree with you.
but there are places where they have internet and computer but lack of jobs and good payments. in this case bitcoin helps.
i'm not talking about faucets, i'm talking about being paid for remote jobs, or trading (a few people around here doesnt believe in trading but i have a very good income from it).
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2016, 04:46:26 PM
it's not only electricity(yeah, mainly electricity but not only).
china has everything cheaper. Electricity, hardware, Workers..

Anyway, their government wants to "control" bitcoin from now on so things might change.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Have a Bitcoin, What Will You Do on: November 13, 2016, 04:39:05 PM
if you want something more "stable" then go for lending(using an exchange, P2P is very risky).
but trading can make way more profit. Search a little about altcoins and buy cheap to sell high.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: November 13, 2016, 04:35:57 PM
well, exchange or online wallet, if you cant have the privatekey it isnt trustable.
i'm a poloniex/xapo user but i always take the money out after using.

i'm not sure, but a few online wallets give you the privkey, blockchain.info is one example.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hedge Funds in Bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 06:36:05 PM
if i were rich, i would never trust in these to hold my bitcoins.. there are probably rich families buying but i'm pretty sure they know how to store bitcoin in a offline wallet.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for signature campaign? on: November 10, 2016, 05:32:30 PM
it's good? no - lol.
but as a newbie, you dont have others options and to progress with your rank you need to post.

so, do what you have now and later you move to another campaign.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How profitable it is to set up masternodes? on: November 10, 2016, 05:28:15 PM
yes and no.
imo, if you were one of the lucky one's to hold dash at the begin, great! do a masternode and enjoy your profit.
if you want to buy it now, well, i wouldnt do it.... too much money involved and too much risks.

i have a few nodes(not dash, unfortunatelly) and all were bought at the begin. Right now i have just bought a few coins of a "new" project that might be great some day and i will make a node. it's risky but it's cheaper.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying ZCoin: Yes or No? on: November 10, 2016, 05:23:57 PM
not zcoin nor zcash... i wouldnt buy neither.
Zcash still very overbought and until december the price will be falling.
zcoin or any other zcash like project will suffer too.
