I just want to be one of the first people to wish all of you (my Stake family) a Happy New Year... here is hoping that you will win a lot of money and also for the Stake staff to be prosperous in 2024.

Let's hope the North Korean hackers will give you a break and that you have to deal with a lot less drama in 2024.  Grin  I also hope that Stake will sign less contracts with huge celebrities and Sport teams and just invest in a good gambling experience for their existing members.

Thank you for a great 2023!
Lolz, happy new to you too bud, but stake signing contracts with huge celebrities isn't such a bad thing after all, I means, without such partnerships or contracts, stake possibly wouldn't been as big as they are today.
So, it's actually true that such contracts do cost alot of money, but if you check it well, it still acts as investment as it has helped stake become a global brand.

But then, I do get the angle you are coming from though, Stake have achieved alot, they have alot of celebrity Ambassadors all round the world, so, you suggest that in 2024, they should come back home and focus on giving their users the best of experience?, this is something I definitely would agree to anyways, because, there are some features I find on lesser online casinos that I don't find on stake, most especially in sports betting, I hope I find time to discuss this some day, but till then, let's keep our fingers crossed for what next year (which is a few hours away) holds.

@Kakmakr that’s a hilarious wish but to be relevant in this industry they need to sign more celebrities and continue finding ways to reach new audiences. However you’re right too because if they don’t make it a good experience then user’s will drop out faster hence I’m sure that the team will be listening to constructive feedback and hopefully implement the same.

Bazil has many young players and you can even see on the news players like Vitor Roque and Endrick.
Both of these players are under 20 years old and they can play for their teams for years, Endrick is going to play for Real Madrid and Vitor Roque is going to play for Barcelona which means they can grow into the two best teams in the world.
It's time for Brazil to pay more attention to the younger players like these two players and forget about Neymar, however, maybe they need to use another coach for 2026 to get better results, but I do think if they will accept to use any non-Brazilian coach yet.
As we already mentioned many times there is no problem with the Brazilian talent and their youths which are still making their mark in world with their game and quality but right now their main problem is we have no suitable coach which can bring them as team and have better depth against other quality teams which are they losing in last few years with mostly they are involved in clubs which are having different playing style and bounds playing for the country is completely different and realistic approach which needs some development even in few countries they started early.

Now after decision from Carlos Ancelotti they will go ahead with their next search because things are looking not good for them in coming Copa América so they have to do all very quickly before it's gone too late for them and their pride in this event.

The best thing Brazil can do right now is find another coach for the 2026 World Cup otherwise they will have a disappointing performance in this tournament with the current form we see from this team,

op I agree with you because the way the current Brazil team is performing is really disappointing. 2026 World Cup Qualifiers have performed very poorly so they need a good course to improve. So before the 2026 World Cup, the Brazilian team needs a good reliable course so that they can complete their hexa mission. If the Brazil team cannot choose their course before the 2026 World Cup, then their 2026 World Cup will not be Hexa Mission Complete

@synchronym I’m actually quiet surprised by Carlo decision because so far he had flirted with the Brazil job and out of the blues he’s decided to ditch them which is kinda unfair but now Brazil needs to act quickly and find a solid coach for their player’s. Furthermore I also believe the new coach needs to infuse new mentality because I feel that the Brazil player’s are just way too over confident these days and unless that doesn’t change I don’t think that their performances will improve.

Red Bull has decided to push Perez to the end of the contract, he will be racing until 2026 apparently, or at least that is the decision they have taken this season, don't know if they will continue to do that next season as well, but for 2024 he stays.

It is bot ha great news but also a terrible news for Daniel Ricciardo as well, because it's terrible since he will not be going to Red Bull and going there would have been better for him, and yet it also means that he will not be on Max's shadow, and he doesn't have pressure on him and he got used to his car at AT for a while, so he could do very well this season. The fact is, if he does better than his teammate, he will be fine there, he is getting older anyway, so it would be fine to have a few more decent seasons, that's it.

I think that the only possible way for him to stay until 2026 is to have RBR dominate for the other 2 years.

If someone will catch them, he will be benched.

@coinlocket$ it makes sense that they’re retaining him for now because his presence will ensure that Max will always know he has to step up or he’ll be beaten by him. Furthermore I also liked the dynamics between these two last season and I feel that Red Bull doesn’t want to change the winning combination so it’ll be interesting to see if they both can continue to dominate like they did in the last season.

18 satoshis is still very low considering that it was around 45 satoshis when BTC price was around $45k in Sep 2021.
Right now BTC price is around $42k yet FUN token is still only 18 satoshis.
Even I have locked FUN tokens for a year and I hope the price recovers to atleast above 40 sats.

Well, I also noticed that when all other altcoins are making 2x, 3x or even more in the past one month, the price of FUN token hasn't surged much as compared to other altcoins. One reason could be that the gaming coins and the gambling coins are performing as that well as they are unable to gain hype in this market.

I still stick to my point of view that since the FUN token has a use case, in the form of freebitco, so as long as the site is there, we can believe in all the reasons that fun token may perform well sooner or later.

By the way, the Fun token is now 16 Satoshi's but let's keep our fingers crossed for the bull market.

It's all about time. Sooner or later the market will be pumped with more money and altcoins will gain the momentum too.
As of the now, the price of FUN tokens is 17 sats and only time can tell us how much it will be worth in the next 1 year.
Lets just enjoy the premium benefits of holding it until then.

@Betwrong BTW I just got my first GT from WoF spin this week. Count me in for the lambo race, lol.

@pawanjain though it’s not accelerating as much as we all want it too but I’m yet hopeful that it’ll give us good returns in the long run hence I continue to advise to hold it. Furthermore what separates this from other Alt coins is that they can disappear overnight but this is backed by a strong project hence in the long run it has to succeed but patience is definitely required but if you have zero patience then avoid investing in it.

After a long time without succes in freebets betting, i won again thanks to this freebet wined on BSFL league.

Congrats, mate! That's a great win! When you can bet with 6.35 odds and win more than $50 risking zero of your own money, it's great, innit?

Sportsbet.io is giving us so many such opportunities that sometimes we don't have time to use them all. I'll tell you this, guys, try to find the time. Try to find two minutes for that because, who knows, maybe you'll win $50 like @darbitmobilerecovery here, and let's be honest, we rarely make that kind of money in 2 minutes. Wink

@Betwrong I would like to add that one should not just find time for wagering but they should also find the time for researching on what or whom to wager because even if these bets are free one can still earn decent if wagered correctly. Furthermore Sportsbet also adds a personal touch and it’s no wonder why so many user’s play here on a loop and that I feel is a big reason why they’re so successful.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 30, 2023, 04:02:37 AM
Dortmund has not been playing good in any of the competitions. They got punished in the DFB Pokal and were kicked out against Stuttgart and that game revealed all the weaknesses Dortmund is dealing with. The Bundesliga is again revealing everything as they are just not as lucky all the time as they have been in the Champions League. I don't know how often it happened that a team qualified for the next round in the CL when they scored only 7 goals in 6 games and were in one of the strongest groups of this season. Dortmund has played several games they should have lost, but didn't because their opponents were too stupid to score. I doubt that they will stay in the CL for two more rounds. Eindhoven is still doable for them, but I doubt it will be a long adventure for them.
In fact, Dortmund is already 6 points behind Leipzig who are in the top 4. This is quite a drastic decline in their game this season because in previous seasons we saw that Dortmund always managed to stick closely to the top of the standings, but this they are relatively weaker. I think this season from what I've seen they haven't been able to balance their game as well as they could and some players have really found it difficult to develop their best qualities. Well, losing Bellingham has had quite a big impact on them this season because their front line is not as aggressive as last season in terms of scoring goals.

Terzic has a more difficult job this season because they really have to work hard to get back into the top rankings. Terzic must also be able to bring changes for the second half of the season and he must be able to see the weak points in his team that can be fixed in this winter transfer window. If they can't change their performance in the second half of the season, of course this season will be a pretty bad season for their performance in the Bundesliga.

That's how I see it, yes. They are falling behind like they haven't been falling behind in a long time. However, I think it also has to do with the flawless season that Leverkusen is playing. If you have one club playing the perfect season, everyone else is looking worse for obvious reasons. But still this isn't just looking bad for Dortmund because Leverkusen is playing well. It is looking bad for Dortmund because they are playing crap. It is just bad. It is weak and they should have lost more games than they actually did because they sometimes got lucky, which makes it even worse given where they are at in the table. The weirdest thing is that they qualified for the round of 16 in the Champions League. I guess that is what saved Terzic the job until now.

@shogun47 I believe that they’ll need to dip in the January transfer window asap to save their season and the most logical buy would be is Sancho because they’re tailored for each other. Furthermore if they decide against buying or loaning player’s then their season will only get worse hence I hope that they can loosen their purse strings and immediately make some quick deals.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 29, 2023, 04:25:09 PM
I dont think about betting on the Juventus match so as not to bring bad luck, so my bets today are these.

  • Napoli - Monza i will bet on Napoli
  • Genoa - Inter Milan i will bet on Inter Milan
  • Atalanta BC - Lecce i will bet on Atalanta BC
  • AC Milan - Sassuolo i will bet on AC Milan
The downside is that it is easier to say the favorite team, you also ignore the Juventus match because it is considered the fate of the hunt. Lol

See between matches it's not going to be smooth, there's always a draw or a loss to the favorites, but I always hope it goes smoothly tonight.

Napoli, Inter, Milan, maybe that's my pick to win, I'll look at the odds market first, if the odds are below @2.00 maybe I'll go for it.

@$crypto$ betting on favourites is always a risk I agree especially in the Italian league and one team I have absolute zero faith is Napoli because they have been really poor this season and thus I doubt that they’ll win much this season. Furthermore remember with AFCON approaching remember to be updated with the latest squad for upcoming matches as it could have an impact on the team’s performance.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 29, 2023, 11:34:42 AM
Isco is a player who joined Real Madrid with some hope to shine in this team for years but he could never be the good player we were expecting from him to see in this team and he had to leave Real Madrid, after leaving that team he couldn't have good performance anymore and he joined Real Betis.
Now it seems because of the good performance he had in Betis, they extended his contract for a long time until 2027.
However, Isco is an old player and he can't be considered as a long-term investment for this team at all.

He was actually a good player, but there was a serious decline in his performance recently. I'm very happy that Real Betis has started to get better again, it's a pretty good situation for a 31-year-old football player to have signed another four-year contract. I hope he continues to be good like this and his performance does not decrease until retirement Smiley
The decline of a player cannot be predicted at all, even if he is a good player but when they experience a decline it will be inevitable. There is actually a player who is worse than Isco, namely Eden Hazard, yes he has been a sweetener for the Real Madrid bench for many seasons. He only gets occasional opportunities, and even then does not play in full matches.
Yes Isco is old now, he is not a reliable long-term option, but with the improvement in performance he is experiencing at least it is good for him and also for the team he defends. He made a pretty good contribution in my opinion,

@bitleap didn’t Isco suffer due to severe competition at Real Madrid and I felt that he was definitely a good player and I strongly feel that he yet has lots to offer to this sport. Furthermore Eden was a mystery for me because I could never understand why he failed to perform and why wasn’t he sold quickly enough because Real Madrid could have definitely cut their loses much earlier.

Speaking of... Hwang is a must have for Wolves, huh?
His goal today and then penalty for Alvarez brought me to round 50 correct picks, and half way mark in that run for 100 correct picks in season with two games to spare Smiley

Few weeks ago it looked tough to get back on track but now I am hoping again. Could use some more hots tomorrow with Richarlison and Saka left in this GW.
Now as we are heading for the 19th round things are looking much better for the picks and too many correct answers are possible because in last season we have the good number of winners here in December hopefully again we will have the good number of the winners in GW and few will also take good results for the overall spot as well.

Today we have good comeback from the Manchester City and Chelsea also done good work for bringing themselves to the better spot after having some bad results, tomorrow Arsenal going to take top spot again after having win against West Ham United which is also struggling.

@SATWAT things will change now because of AFCON and I expect majority of the clubs to buy or loan player’s hence keep an eye on the updated squad before you select player’s. Furthermore I’m sincerely praying that Manchester United player’s and Ten Hag step up and deliver now because it’s been a poor season so far but after that comeback win I feel one should consider them for selections.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 28, 2023, 02:21:10 PM
This game is mega important for Arsenal and I'm sure the lads will find a way to win , take 3 vital points and also take 1st position in EPL who in my opinion will be a deserved one for them after what we saw from Arsenal's games so far.

The other game , Brighton vs Spurs could be a draw with both teams to score or it could be a Spurs victory but also with both teams to score.  Grin
Of course Arsenal won't let them lose to West Ham especially a draw is very unfavorable because Liverpool is waiting at the top of the table, so I think this can be a win for the Gunners and they also have small odds if bet on but the win ratio is of course quite high.

Not sure about Brighton can draw they are always not sure to win, worthy of Tottenham at this time they still continue to need points to get back to the position, I predict in this match Tottenham can win, both teams score goals I think it is certain, worth taking the odds. Grin

@$crypto$ West Ham will be riding high on confidence after beating Manchester United hence I don’t think that we should underestimate them. Furthermore on the other hand Arsenal can’t afford to drop any points now hence I feel both will start slowly and then they’ll try to score that winning goal but if people feel that Arsenal will just turn up and win then I’m sure that they’ll be disappointed because this is going to be a difficult fixture for both the team’s.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 28, 2023, 07:17:11 AM
Predicting when the match time is still a bit long seems a little difficult because of course a lot will change, but if it's just a temporary prediction, maybe Rennes could be a strong opponent for Milan, but I never doubt Milan's performance because this club is also very experienced and very it is easy to beat Rennes and I am very confident that Milan can easily beat Rennes.
There's no need of doubting how well Milan is going to perform and probably get victory over Rennes, like you rightly stated, Rennes isn't as experienced as Milan and they don't match in strength and in squad depth, Milan has a better squad than that of Rennes and even their performance is way better than that of Rennes so far this season.

Except for uncertainties which may occur on the the pitch such as injury or red card or maybe some defensive error, Milan almost look unbeatable to Rennes but if any of that which I did mentioned earlier happens, Rennes may have an edge over Milan and if utilized they could win but then the probability of such happening is almost close to impossible as I believe Milan will not be that carefree to allow such happen and I even foresee a very good future with Milan in the Europa this season as they have so far been brilliant in their performance both in their domestic leagues and in their UCL before they were relegated to the Europa.

@Weawant when it comes to Europa matches nothing really is guaranteed because you may have the best team and yet may end up losing to an inferior side hence don’t underestimate Rennes. Furthermore how this match will go will depend on the injuries, morale of the team and there’s no way to predict what shape these two will be in so for now I won’t pick a side and rather wait till we get closer to the match.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 28, 2023, 03:22:41 AM

Yep. Inter Milan is the finalist of the UCL last season. They must try to reach the final round again, they will try to beat Atletico Madrid. Sure, it won't be easy to beat Atletico Madrid because they played very well during the group stage. Atletico Madrid is the leader of group E, they only got 2 draws and 0 lose. Atletico Madrid showed their quality, they are dominating the group E although there are Lazio and Feyenoord there. Meanwhile Inter Milan is just the runner-up of group D, they failed to beat Real Sociedad.

Well, it won't be easy for Inter Milan to beat Atletico Madrid. But surely they have the chance if they can play more solidly. Inter shouldn't rely on Martinez only, they must play as a solid team if they want to beat Atletico Madrid.

The match between Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid will be very interesting because both teams have good quality players.
Inter Milan's journey to the UCL final last season demonstrates their ability to step up in knockout stages, and they might draw inspiration from that experience. Knockout stages often introduce a different dynamic where teams tend to approach these matches with heightened focus and determination. Inter Milan is a balanced and cohesive team that has the ability to exploit weaknesses in Atletico's defense collectively, rather than relying solely on individual brilliance.

Inter Milan being UCL finalist might instill a sense of confidence and belief in their ability to compete at the highest level, even against tough opponents like Atletico Madrid. This experience, combined with the knockout dynamics and the potential for strategic adjustments, suggests that they indeed have a chance to prevail against Atletico Madrid. The clash between two quality teams is bound to make the match intriguing and exciting.

@arimamib Inter vs Atletico will be a low scoring game because both team’s would like to play it out cautiously and I expect a single goal to make the final difference between who progresses ahead. Lastly last year results don’t matter this year and if Inter wants to beat Atletico then they’ll have to raise their standards because in their current champions league form I doubt that they can beat Atletico easily.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: December 27, 2023, 02:15:46 PM
These are how the games ended:

Newcastle United 1-3 Nottingham Forest
Bournemouth 3-0 Fulham
Sheffield United 2-3 Luton Town
Burnley 0-2 Liverpool
Manchester United 3-2 Aston Villa

With a new manager at Nottingham Forest, they went to Newcastle and won the game 1-3. Liverpool are definitely finishing the season in the top four because the way they are playing they seem unstoppable. I am sure they will finish above Arsenal therefore could be champions.

From being outplayed and being 0-2 down at half-time to Aston Villa, somehow Manchester United came out in the second half as though they were a different team. They won the game 3-2. Well done to Luton Town again, the Premier League new boys have won back to back games.

@JollyGood there’s rumour that Howe job is under threat due to yesterday’s loss and I feel that it’ll be absolutely sad if after all the work he’s done he gets the sack now. Lastly Ten Hag survives for now because the new owner clearly wasn’t happy with his transfers so it’s a welcome change that the player’s fought for him and managed to secure 3 vital points.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 27, 2023, 10:54:29 AM
Al Nasr, who played away, won the match, which featured a goal duel between Al Ittihat and Al Nasr, 2-5. Ronaldo scored two penalty goals in this match. While the match continued in a 2-2 draw, Al Ittihat's Fabinho received a red card in the 66th minute, which changed the course of the match. In the 68th minute, Ronaldo put his team ahead 2-3 with a penalty goal. Sadio Mane, who came on stage after these goals, scored 2 points and Al Nasr finished the match with a 2-5 victory. With this victory, Al Nasr increased its points to 43 and reduced the point difference with Al Hilal to 7. Al Hilal has a big advantage for the championship. So far, no team has been able to defeat Team Al Hilal.
Al Nassr three mainstay players were able to give a very good performance, even my prediction was wrong because I thought Ittihad would win like before but it turned out that Al Nassr was able to take revenge after being defeated in the past.
maybe if Ronaldo not get a penalty chance, it looks like he won't be able to score or even get an assist and also maybe if the Ittihad player doesn't commit a foul he gets a red card, score will definitely only be 2-3 and that very dangerous because Ittihad could have held a draw but he's very lucky. Al Nassr was able to beat Ittihad with big score.
Sadio Mane joining Al Nassr actually made a lot of difference for the team both in terms of scoring and game play. It eases the pressures and expectations on Cristiano Ronaldo because at present Mane is more energetic than Ronaldo. Despite trailing Al Hilal Riyadh with 7 points, Al Nassr still have a chance to win the league because the season is just around halfway done.

After their 3-0 loss to Al Hilal Riyadh and their AFC Championship draw with Istiklol Dushanbe of Tajikistan, Al Nassr seems they have rediscovered their scoring skills as they won all the matches with over 3 goals margin. Cristiano Ronaldo is now committed to scoring all the penalties while adding some other normal goals. Indeed, Al Nassr have a good chance of getting the this season.

@Odohu I don’t know if Al Nassr will be able to win the league title or no but what I’m certain is that Ronaldo has shut his critics for good and forever changed the face of Saudi League. Furthermore he has proved that a player can constantly switch leagues and yet continue to perform well and lastly in his case the grass always turns out to be greener for whichever side he decides to play.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: December 27, 2023, 07:24:49 AM
Manchester United must be getting really regretful for signing Rasmus Hojlund by spending over 70 million euros. He still has no goal in the Premier League despite playing in 14 matches. This is just horrible statistics for a so-called promising striker like him. He might be very young maybe but this is still not an excuse for this at all.

There are so many other examples who are young but still able to score some goals at least. It mustn't be that difficult to score a goal in the end, right? I criticize Nunez quite much as well but he still has made a decent contribution to Liverpool in the league so far.  Smiley

Hojlund scored his first goal in the Premier League against Aston Vila and helped his team win 3-2. He is a promising striker, but he doesn't get enough support from United's midfielders. I kinda agree that he is overpriced, though. 70 million is just too much, but United paid absurd amounts of money for players, who are underperforming. Anyway, the red team from Manchester achieved a great victory versus Aston Vila. Losing 0-2 in the first half and winning 3-2 by scoring three goals in the second half. Alejandro Garnacho scored two goals, proving that he must become the leader of the new Manchester United(even though he's too young for such role).

@davis196 Manchester United definitely overpaid for him because he’s not even an established striker yet and he also doesn’t receive much help from the midfield hence Manchester United should get a midfielder who can help unlock his talents. Furthermore indeed last night was a very good win for the club and with the new owner coming Ten Hag needed it to save his job but if they drop their performance levels then I’m afraid he won’t survive till the end of the season.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 27, 2023, 02:47:39 AM
The New Zealand squad contains only a few familiar names. Apart from Adam Milne, Mitchell Santner, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham and Tim Southee, most of the players are inexperienced. This series will be a good opportunity for players such as Jacob Duffy and Ben Sears to cement their place in the national squad. Both the teams may treat this series as preparation for the T20 World Cup, which will start in around 6 months from now. Anyway, the match will be played at McLean Park in Napier in around 4 hours from now. It will be streamed live on Amazon Primevideo (for those in India).

@Sithara007 isn’t it strange that 6 months before a T20 World Cup New Zealand are yet experimenting with their T20 team because in my personal opinion they should have selected their best 11 so they could have enough match practise heading into the T20 World Cup. Also coming back to this fixture I yet would favour New Zealand to win because Bangladesh doesn’t deliver results consistently and hence it may not be surprising to see if they end up losing this game.

PSG are in very good form that's for sure. However, it is not certain whether they will win. However, I consider PSG as the favorite in this match and decided to bet on PSG.
PSG is the most favorite club for the champion this season because the kind of performance they have I doubt if any club can easily win them and secondly there points is quite higher than every other clubs except for Nice that are competing PSG on this season but however with the points PSG has losing one match can never bring them down from the table on less they lose two straight matches provided that Nice is able to win there straight two matches, so we can see that PSG has an upper chance to win the league this season because they have all it takes to obtain the champion and perhaps there upcoming match against Toulouse is actually a win match for PSG because they are more in a good performance than Toulouse.

@Roseline492 for Nice to takeover PSG they’ll have to hope that PSG lose two games or continuously draw matches but realistically I don’t expect that to happen unless suddenly PSG form takes a nosedive. Also it’s pertinent to note that with the January transfer window upon us they may just strengthen their squad to ensure they continue to remain ahead in the title race hence for now I can say that PSG will win the league title comfortably.

That is also a reason why the problem of playing a lot of foreign players is never going to be fixed because a lot of teams that are very close to the ICC and also bring the ICC a good amount of money have a lot of players that are foreigners.  They are basically playing whoever they want. Maybe at first they thought it would be actually an expansion of the game. But now we can see that it is not working. But even though it is not working ICC is actually not going to do anything because as you said those teams are actually the ‘blue eyed man’.

Exactly. Current eligibility laws for international cricket are ridiculous and exists in no other sport. As of now, it is possible to create a "national" team from 11 foreign players. And right now, almost two-thirds of all the member nations of ICC have "national" teams entirely comprised of foreigners. And this stupid eligibility rules were tailor made to help teams like the United Arab Emirates. If only natives are allowed to participate in international matches, then the GCC nations such as UAE and Oman will not have a national team.

@Sithara007 I don’t see why ICC will change these rules because for them natives player’s are not that important having more teams is and currently I don’t even remember reading any major country raising any objections on this rule. Lastly this rule can only be changed if one of the big 4 demands it be changed but until then I highly doubt that ICC will ever change this rule.

@SATWAT we all know how this will play out don’t we because Pakistan will keep screaming and ICC will pretend to listen and then they’ll conveniently back out and then Pakistan will agree for a neutral host which will be Srilanka. Lastly if anyone is expecting any different outcome then they’ll be horribly disappointed because nothing is going to change so let’s not spend our time discussing it when we already know the final outcome.

LOL.. this is exactly what is going to happen. At the most, PCB can try for a hybrid model, similar to the one that was used for the Asia Cup. But then, only 3-4 matches will be hosted in Pakistan and the rest will be hosted by the neutral country (United Arab Emirates or Sri Lanka). And I don't think that a hybrid system benefits PCB or any other board by any means. PCB can bargain hard to get a fat paycheck from the ICC in the form of compensation. And at this point, this is the best thing they can do.

@Sithara007 the hybrid model turned out expensive for Pakistan if I remember correctly because there was a report which said that they had to pay a lot for the constant travelling. Further a compensation can be a good deal for them but it’ll also signal the end for any future ICC event which involves team India to be hosted there hence their best bet is to squeeze the maximum they can when ICC proposes the compensation idea.

These two (Marnus Labuschagne and Steven Smith) need to dig in and build a 100+ partnership. They have lost two quick wickets now and if they lose another, then Pakistan will be on top. And so far, Shaheen Shah Afridi seems to be in good form and bowling with perfect line and length. And also, good support from Aamer Jamal and Hasan Ali. I was surprised with Pakistan's decision to go in with 4 pacers (apart from these three, there is Mir Hamza as the fourth seamer). But looks like this strategy has worked so far.

@Sithara007 definitely there’s some improvement from the Pakistani player’s but unfortunately for them the rain gods have decided to gate crash their party and we’ll have to wait to see if there’ll be anymore game played today. Lastly had the rains not come I felt that Pakistan bowler’s could have easily gotten few more wicket’s and completely put the pressure on Australia but since their rhythm is now going to be disturbed I feel that it’s an advantage for Australia batsmen fight their way back in the game.
