saw this posted on the zcash forum. anyone know if the 1000 h/s per card screenshot  is legit?

link to source: https://forum.z.cash/t/hey-guys-who-can-tell-me-what-this-is-single-card-speed-is-reached-1132h-s/9746

I like the look of his speeds. Wish mine ran that well.  Cry

The speed is unbelieavable.. could be a fake/edited picture... but it could be true as well.. who knows..

I can't witdraw XMR.. there's error message in red letter like this:

"Something went wrong, hot wallet may be empty please be patient or contact us via email in the FAQ section"

Please admin fix it!
It's mean XMR's hot wallet is empty right now, and you can't withdraw your money. In this case because OP (safedice) didn't comeback on here since 3 weeks ago, it would be better if you email them about this problem.

I have emailed them & PM Safedice account here.. No answer yet!
I'm new playing on this site.. Usually I play on primedice or 999doge with bitcoin.. i try switch to altcoins because i think can play longer with altcoin.. is this safedice site can be trusted???

Maybe they are busy to attain some of the problems existing on their site? But if you think you have been deprived by them well maybe its time for you to create some claim threads so if they can see that one existing well a high possibilities that they will answer you, but i think safedice is trusted site i play at them for little while and so far i don't have any problem for spending some time at them.

I prefer to wait and see for the moment.. seems there are many positive judgement about this site..  thanks for the advice.. Smiley

I see some posts that V8 reached hardware limits and there is no way to improve speed anymore. It's not true.
I'm working on new version with another good speedup, though it takes more time and efforts.

GO FOR IT!!

YOU CAN DO IT!

I believe in you. You've always backed up your words with proof so far...

Though I'm ready to stop development if most of people think so. It's not a problem for me at all. Make a vote somewhere to see results.

Claymore, I believe I'm the one that sparkled idea of making DUAL miner (ETH+SIA), therefore I deserve at least DUAL vote:
And,... I FEEL NEED FOR SPEED!  Cool
Speed and higher achievements are fun, power bills and money are not. So, GO FOR IT!  Wink

Feel agree with you Sir  Wink....NEED FOR SPEED..... Grin

Absolutely!!!

I can't believe it there are those who don't like the improvement. Do you think if claymore stop improving the software development the other devs (including devs who work for private farms, cloudmining services etc) will also stop their development?? Come on guys wake up!
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v8.0 on: November 27, 2016, 12:49:14 PM
You've done a very great job Mr. Claymore!
Please don't stop. Keep improving!
I & I'm sure many others in the community also highly appreciate your great contributions to the crypto community!

Keep up the great work!!!
God bless you!!

The site has a good record and they've been operating for over 2 years now. The biggest issue is that admin is not full time committed to running the site and sometimes it takes few days to get reply. But so far, all the problems have been resolved eventually.

I hope so.. hopefully this site will maintain that good record.. I like dice game..

I just tried to mine at flypool & directed my mining payout to poloniex account..  I'm new to mining cryptocurrency..there are many things that i don't understand..maybe this is stupid question..  Grin just want to ask: what does it mean by "PENDING 7 of 16" in status confirmation in deposit history in poloniex?? appreciate any help..  Grin

Each payment needs a certain amount of confirmations across the chain to confirm it is genuine.

Ok.. thank you for the kind answer.. highly appreciate it... I think i need more reading to update my obsolete knowledge..  Smiley

Started using your miner with version 6.0, I believe. Was getting ~140 h/s with a rx 480 red devil with core clock set to 1380 for most of my mining. Using -nofee (sorry!)

With 7.0 I was getting ~165 h/s

With 8.0 I'm getting 180-190(!) h/s, with -i set to 6

No instability issues with your miner, ever. While others have sent me to BSOD for various errors they have.

Incredible work Claymore! Looking forward to what else you can squeeze out of this gem.

I can't understand this idea of mining with no fee. It is demand and supply rule. He is offering you something in exchange of reward! All of us are doing the same. We are mining on some network like Eth or ZEC ( this keep all network alive and workable) and in return for your services network give rewards ( Zec's and Ethers ). And the price for the services is established by the service provider, but is confirmed by the market. So if the market use this miner at this price, the price is good. So I do not understand why Claymore added -nofee option, but normally if you think is expensive for you, don't buy, simple as it is. But to use the best miner at the moment and to add -nofee option to save couple of cents......it's not correct!

I agree with u though i don't mind at all what people choose (using -nofee option or not).. I understand internet is a free world (but of course as free as it is every environment has rule).. and here's my point, I see this rule is a bit unfair.. with -nofee option, yes the performance might decrease around 5% so it is said.. but do not forget the power use might decrease more than 5%.... so.. it is possible that with -nofee option can give a better efficiency (H/Watt ratio) than without -nofee option... so consider the users of this miner as customer using the service, normally the paying customer (without -nofee option) should have better service than the free customer (with -nofee option)... just an opinion..

Which do you think could move up between the two, ebitz or zdash. I'm sorry for asking, which of them gets to be better in the future?

EBZ for sure...

Ebitz seems more convincing and their team look more organized & well prepared.. let's wait & see.. there will be a hard competition between zcash & its clones & among its clones.. big money involved.. the best coin will survive.. the rest will be dead...

I'm very impressed with Ebitz work... ZDASH is like shit when you compare it with Ebitz.

Yes.. i'm impressed too.. they are so confident... look like professional killers... maybe zdash will be the first victim.. LOL

If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been using jaxx? have you ever experienced any problem transfering your zec earning from pool directly to jaxx's wallet?

I am using jaxx only as a mobile wallet for btc, eth, and etc. I can confirm that it works, we have btc atm's here... And linux as a cold wallet.

Never use z-addys with zcash until they say it is working and someone confirms it. That is not a jaxx problem.

Mine to your exchange address and move them to jaxx at some point. First try with some small amount to see if it works. Use only t-addresses, they start with t....

Go to forum.z.cash, they got all the information you need, we are spamming this burning miner thread  Wink

OK.. thanks @antantti, @ghostfaceuk, @d57heinz for your valuable input.. highly appreciate it.. i think i should apologize to everybody in this thread for being out of topic...my bad habbit.. asking too much question...  Grin

Poloniex is also a exchange so it should be quite safe to keep your earnings there.

You never use exchange as a wallet. They tend to be hacked, poloniex has been hacked too. Obviously you need to keep something there if you are trading.

If linux is not an option use jaxx.

what is jaxx??? how it works?

https://jaxx.io/

interesting...

one more question if you don't mind.. you're a hero member.. sure you are more experienced in cryptocurrency stuff..
in your opinion, which one is safer to keep coins for long term period, poloniex or jaxx?

jaxx.

But first thing to do when windows wallet is released is to move your holdings there. If you want to be really sure just google for 'cold wallet' or 'paper wallet'. Remember to use strong passwords and 2FA whenever it is possible. And remember to remember your passwords  Grin

OK.. thanks again for valuable information....it's quite educative.. i learn new thing..  Smiley

I read the FAQ in jaxx's support page.. I read this line and I'm a bit worried:
======================================================================================
I can't find my ZCash z-address & my address keeps changing! Also, can I receiving ZEC mining rewards in Jaxx?

We only support transparent addresses at this time. We haven't made a full decision on supporting z-addresses yet.

The address changing is normal. Jaxx is an HD (hierarchical deterministic) wallet, which means it generates a new address every time you send/receive funds to/from your Jaxx wallet as a way of keeping your balance private. And yes, you can use any of your previous addresses to receive funds.

And please do not point your ZEC mining rewards to Jaxx, as we are a lightweight wallet that is not designed to receive mining payouts. We do not recommend pointing any mining rig payouts to Jaxx as it may cause issues on your end as well as potentially causing issues on our end.
