The price of this shit coin is far to high! Anyone that buys into this garbage will regret it.

Thanks for your response, I have seen you have not done much research as Ascendancy is not a coin, but a framework.

Richard Aldridge

ASCENDANCY COIN gets listed?
Is this really not a coin? or a token as what you stated in the specs?

What do you mean trading from website-ascendancy? Is this not tradable to other popular exchange?

you said, Its 1.5 years in the making but the roadmap still needs another year to develop.

The price is too high, In my opinion I'd rather wait for this to be listed in exchange and buy from there since most IPO and ICO type will be dumped when it hits exchange than investing in IPO stage, isn't smart enough.

P.S: The graphics above are annoying better expand the size of the fonts for the roadmap like other section's font size rather than using those graphics while its not relevant.

1) Just some typos, I will have our graphics designer fix these.

2) This was in reference to the Ascendancy Token getting listed on an exchange. We will first allow trading via your account on our website http://www.ascendancy.io. We are planning for this to be direct between a single exchange and our site and intersite trades. The node software at this point will be closed source to allow trading only as development will still be on going.

3) About a year or just over now. But development is not just pure coding, The idea has been created in stages. We are not rushing Ascendancy, We would rather take a longer time and provide a much more complete and much better product.

I have a few questions for dev's
- Will be your code open and located on GitHyb?
- How you plan to engage users for using only your framework? Because now, we have so many frameworks written on JS.
- Can i make desktop app with u Framework?
and the main question
- What he will have an advantage over the others (except that it's decentralized)? Smiley

Its very unlikely that he will throw the code on gitty-shitty hub as he has no tech savvy to create an account and upload his code to there, not to mention that he will be required to pay for hosting of his code on that hub.

The code will be released publicly when the project is complete, We are currently using our own private source code management system until then. as for github. its actually free to commit and push source code.

The price of this shit coin is far to high! Anyone that buys into this garbage will regret it.

Thanks for your response, I have seen you have not done much research as Ascendancy is not a coin, but a framework.

So, can I install your framework from npm manager in the near future?
As i undestand u wanna create something like Express ( main framework for Node) only somehow  screwing  blockhain and  decentralization.
it's not clear how u can do this.

Ascendancy will be coded in javascript utilizing node.js. It is NOT a node.js library.

Building frame work with decentralized flat form is completely different technology where you can build the with block chain technology is very good to know, but really i will focus on watching how it's IPO will run.

Sorry, I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean. Could you elaborate?

I have a few questions for dev's

Ascendancy will be open source on release but during the development phase we are using our own private source code management.

- How you plan to engage users for using only your framework? Because now, we have so many frameworks written on JS.

Javascript is the perfect scripting language to use, It's easy to learn yet powerful with so many libraries.

- Can i make desktop app with u Framework?

This may be a posibility through some RESTful API and something we are looking at when designing the server / daemon software.

and the main question

- What he will have an advantage over the others (except that it's decentralized)? Smiley

Ascendancy will have some differences to other frameworks available, our ethos is to educate and attract people to the cryptocurrency world by offering an easy to use framework to build blockchain based applications. We are also being realistic in our goals, We will not saturate the market with too many ASC tokens as to maintain a high value. As Joel said previously, Similar products exist with anything you find and we will make Ascendancy the best it can be.

Appreciate that reply, and look forward to seeing the whole team in the future. Would you have any restrictions in terms of who can participate in the IPO and how much they are allowed to buy-in?

Ruletheworld,

We are not planning on having restrictions on who can participate in the IPO or how much they are allowed to invest.
I'm not sure why we'd do that as it could be seen as unfair and they could simply just make another account on our site and invest more.

I hope that clears things up,

already read all about ASC very intresting with the target ICO is minimum of 4,800,000 ASC sold.
that the same only -+500 BTC right ?
I believe this project will be very easy to succeed with this target ICO

You are correct, that is our minimum target.
We do however expect Ascendancy to exceed that but only time will tell.

Hey, I was just wondering whether you guys will have any extra bonus if we purchase ASC tokens on the very first day of the ICO?

Thank You

Anarchy101,

Sorry but there will be no bonus for purchasing ASC tokens on the first day.
However, the price of ASC tokens during the first week will be the lowest of all time during the IPO.

What would be ur proposal and to whom would it be addressed? I doubt that u got any investors whom u would coerce into funding ur absurd shitcoin. U put up big words that mean nothing, and keep pretending that u know what ure talking about, despite poor quality of ur announcement and fishy public proposals.

Synthgauge,

Our proposal would most likely vary depending on how much funding we end up getting. But, our true plan is to try and create Ascendancy no matter what.
We have the developers that we need to create it and we have already started work on it.

I'm pretty sure that there are some people already willing to invest in our 'shitcoin', but I'd prefer you to reference it as a 'shit-framework' since it's not just a coin.

We happen to know exactly what we're talking about and we're happy to answer any developmental based inquiries that you may have, unless you in-fact do not know what you're talking about? Nevertheless, if you'd like to have an actually intelligable discussion about Ascendancy, you may join us on Slack or perhaps provide us with some reasonable queries. Otherwise, I don't think you're helping anyone by posting in this thread.

I don't have much information about the project presently, I downloaded the whitepaper but I have not read it, the involvement of Lupin makes me take it serious and will certainly add it to my investment plan.

I have a question, why do you go for IPO and not the normal ICO term we are used to?

Thepo1m,

Ascendancy is not just another Cryptocurrency, it's a crypto-framework and the term ICO [Initial Coin Offering] does not relay the fact that it is more than just a cryptocurrency.
That is why we chose to use the term IPO [Initial Public Offering] since our investors are investing into a Framework and a new currency.

We really like to look into the smaller details when we are working with Ascendancy because every little thing counts. Smiley

I hope this answer is sufficient enough,
Andrew Penn

It is good to see the campaigns, we will try, but if the ICO fails, you won't pay the bounty, is it correct?

CyanFox,

If the IPO fails then we will pay the BTC bounty for the Signature campaigns.
We will begin the BTC signature campaign once we get some funds from the IPO.

U tool a large chunk of investors holdings and absented urself from this forum, leaving everyone else crying about their financial grief. I dont get why u update this thread and make people hope that they will get their money back. Masterful trick u pulled off, biddy. If I was in ur shoes, I would move out of country and seek asylum in china.

Logictense,

However, the IPO does begin on the 27th if you'd like to invest in Ascendancy.
To see more details about Ascendancy and all that it has to offer you can go to our website.

Only a retard would invest in ICOS or IPOS

A FUCKING RETARD

WayForward,

Your post doesn't seem to be contributing to our discussions here at all.
If I had a piece of paper on me I'd take note of your complaint, but I don't seem to have any available...

Sorry for the inconvenience,

ur minimum requirement is that 5~ million tokens must be sold & assuming they are sold within the first week with the lowest rate available then that would add upto 500~ btc at least. The escrows you have currently are not enough trustworthy. They r good for <20-30 btc but definitely not hundreds.

I am not going to invest anything when those kids are responsible for my investment Smiley

Thank you.

Heutenamos,

Our Escrows include two highly reputable members of the Bitcointalk community along with one of the Staff Members.
Ascendancy is using 3 escrows so that is even safer for investors.

You must realize that there are a lot of other IPO's and ICO's already out there with absolutely no Escrows, so at least we have some.
You are entitled to your opinion, but I don't think you're being fair in your judgement of our Escrows.

Big three escrows, this makes the project more legit and reliable, do you have threshold for ICO succeed?
I hope you can raise more money if you are indeed a legit project.

Tommy,

As you can see on our Whitepaper our minimum goal is 4.8 MIL Ascendancy sold.
If that goal is not met then we will speak with the community and come to a consensus on what our plan is.

Either way we will most likely still be able to create Ascendancy as we have already worked alot on getting it created.
I hope this answers your question, if you want to know more you should join our Slack Channel!

I have some good news!
It seems like our signature campaign will come live sooner than first expected. For the first three weeks we will reward the campaign users with ASC, after that we will reward you with BTC. Users who joins the campaign during the first two weeks will get a loyalty bonus if they stay active during the whole campaign.

We have a few other campaigns ready to start as soon as we have our Bounty Manager.
These campaigns will include a Twitter Campaign, an Article Campaign and a Youtube Campaign/Competition.
