41  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 01, 2017, 07:43:12 PM
Okay, we got many predictions about bitcoin, but what do you say for gold and silver in next 5 years? Any chance to fly it to the moon? What I hope for is silver getting to $50 per ounce in that time. For some it may seem like a joke, but I sure think its undervalued right now, and it would make me a decent profit Cheesy

Unlikely, unless dollar gets heavily devalued

Silver had once already reached almost 50 dollars per ounce in 2011 if I'm not mistaken. Just when the quantitative easings were running at full capacity, and even those prices had been manipulated (up to a point where an investigation was started). Since then trading rules have changed, and as I said, unless dollar hits the floor, substantially higher gold and silver prices are unlikely (like times greater than now). People which heavily invested in some asset always think that this asset is massively undervalued. Just like those who sold it at lower prices think that it is highly overvalued (so-called ego rubbing)

Okay, I appreciate your thoughts, however price was manipulated recently, I think some emails made public, and it was for manipulating price down, not up. Currently if I sold all, I would be at zero profit and loss, and my savings are 40% silver, 20% bitcoin, 40% fiat. I would like to increase bitcoin %, but selling silver now dont feel like a great idea. With bitcoin there is more possible earning in shorter time, but also bigger chance to lose more.
42  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 28, 2017, 08:11:59 PM
If I may say there many ways of earning free bit coin.
But there is very easy ways of it either by gambling or by sports bettings.
For me i rather like bitcoin forum and it is more excellent of earning of bitcoin.

Gambling and sport bettings are not the way of free earning bitcoins, you have to invest some bitcoins from these coins  you can earn some coins but gambling is very risky so people mostly loose their investment. Initial capital must be needed to play gambling if you really want to earn some profit.

All lose on the long run in gambling and betting. Well sports betting and card games against other players can be learned and mastered, but considering time spent into it, it can be called real job, with uncertain ending.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will hit 2000 USD feb 17 on: February 28, 2017, 08:08:21 PM
Healthy rise would be not more then 1000-1100$ by end of March.
All of us who is here for the long term would not want pumping price, pump and dump make people scare away

Yes and this is enough imo.
I think the market will also wait what the SEC is going to decide in terms of the ETFs.
Therefore we will see some smaller up and down swings around 900-1000 area.

Its end of February, so I'll quote both you and me. Still waiting for SEC, but prediction is on track, current price is $1200, little higher and sooner then I expected. Or to be honest wished for and guessing, mostly I feal clueless lately about predictions.
44  Other / Politics & Society / Re: About Area 51 alien,ufo etc on: February 28, 2017, 07:53:54 PM
I think US military is happy with people thinking Area 51 is where they hide aliens, and not question what kind of new weapons are they developing there. As for aliens in general... Yeah I think they exist somewhere, but I still didnt see any good proof that they visited us. Every video you see published is such low quality as if they used calculators for filming.

May be.
But do you really think people believe that?
Okay some freaks, conspiracy theorists, or whatever... but the people?

Yes, people like to believe that. Its mysterious, exciting... All people love little bit of conspiracy theory, something they cant explain so it intreague them. If more then 50% of people (not a number from my head, I searched some poles) believes in aliens, I'm sure many of those believe Area 51 is not just a military base. You give too much credit to humans, many are brainwashed with news and media.

But I'm not. And you?

And all the other Bitcointalk User?

Hmm I'm not sur, but I don't think so.

Me no, I dont believe they keep aliens there. I said my vote would go to base that is developing and testing new weapons. For others I cant say, but I'm sure some would believe it. At least its good propaganda for tourist business in that area.
45  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: February 28, 2017, 07:41:11 PM
I feel that gun control is something that gun owners must face, but not to the degree of some cities like Chicago that have the strictest gun laws in the country and still have an insane amount of murders every year, which is absolutely disgusting to see. Legislators have to notice that even when you have strict gun laws, people who want guns just aren't going to follow them and will just figure out a way to buy them illegally.

The only group of people who are really hurt from this are the people who want to protect themselves, they have a hard time getting guns when they're just trying to protect their lives and their families lives.

But I must say, certain issues such as not allowing people who have mental illness to have guns are something that I support, but I guess putting down the line on what a mental illness is a tough one.
In fact of the matter is that for a crime to buy illegal weapons on the black market. With registered no one shoots.

Yes they shoot with legal weapons also. And with guns so easy available to all, its hard to control illegal weapons. What's the problem if you sell your legal weapon on black market, scratch all serial numbers and report it stolen or lost?

47  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 27, 2017, 07:45:20 PM
Bro! The whole point of btc is that you can do both at the same time!

BTC inflation makes it so that saving btc is the same as investing in it!

True, my biggest stash of coins are safe on hardware wallet, I dont use them for trading or anything. So you can say its saving with potential of growing to be really nice investment. My biggest problem and worry is what price will be my exit point, I still havent decided yet.
Both of you my mate , are right but I think the OP is asking for the saving of money in the form.of fiat in bank and for investment he means to invest your money in the bitcoin and in other investment services like ICO or altcoin  .
Well here I will suggest to invest his bitcoin or money . Because if you will run your money in the world then the value of your money will remain stable according to the price in the world , But if you will save your fiat money in bank then it will remain in a place to remain at very low price value with the time , because interest you will get for your money deposited by you in bank will not give much profit that what you will get in the wise real investment .

If we talk about saving bitcoin, then its same as investing. And for fiat I would always consider putting that money to work, bank dont give good profiit anymore, when you consider inflation its like you're losing money. But this advice is determined with how much fiat OP has, if its significant amount I would choose real estate. With rent you can get nice profit, and there is always chance to sell it if price increase. And thats a sort of wide advice, there are many factors in it, from how good laws are in your country that will protect your ownership, general safety of country, maintance costs, is it possible to daily rent it for tourists, etc.

Can anyone suggest me a genuine faucet to earn bitcoin? There are so many scams out there.

Freebitco.in is one of the oldest and is sure to pay. But consider you get only 170 satoshi per 1 hour if you hit lowest reward, 10 hours = 1700 satoshi, that wont make you rich. If you're new to bitcoin its a good start to learn about withdrawing, wallets etc.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: February 27, 2017, 07:24:23 PM
Advice, tips, speculation please.

OP posted this when price was around $450. today it is @ $1147. that is +250% in 10 months.

first sentence in first answer nailed it:
Keep 12 BTC and wait... Cheesy

Yeah. If he still holds his Bitcoin upto now, he will probably earn more than 250% from his capital. Have you seen the utility of bitcoin yet? That is why i will keep hold my Bitcoin for another 4 years. I am very exciting to know that Bitcoin have crossed over $1000. Damn it. I should buy more Bitcoin.

that is sadly why we all end up doing. we just turn into 100% investors who just hold bitcoin to sell at some point and take the fiat to use. and bitcoin stops being a currency if we continue this way and price will also take a big hit if this happens.

Thats what I'm doing, but many coins are circulating, even when you dont think people buy stuff with bitcoin. Casinos are great way to turn them around, some lose, others win. I personnally dont want to hit myself in the head if few years from now bitcoin rise significantly, and I spent coins on some online purchase which I could easily buy with fiat.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: February 26, 2017, 08:06:29 PM
Signature campaigns aren't steady income for sure there is the day that they will close their campaign when they're already popular and don't need some advertisement anymore. You should stretch out your bones and work for real ones. In this way you can have steady income.

But if they close their campaign then there will come some other campaign that can generate income for you so in that case I think you can earn regular income from signature campaign and you are well aware what your earnings will be at the end of the week.

Try not to expect that there would be replacement of campaigns. Since there are a lot of signature campaign participants throughout the forum, don't expect that you can be accepted that easily. Why not try to look for a decent job and be employed with it, for sure that is going to give you steady income.

Yes and full time job is always better then bitcoins as you will be earning guaranteed income and if you are depending only on earnings from signature campaign then it can be really risky as no one knows how long it will be there around and most likely it may close down in near future.

No matter if they close sig campaigns, full time job is always better. Campaign is good for side money, I dont know in what country can it be considered enough money to live from it. Maybe some 3rd world country, and maybe if someone has multiple accounts and somehow get away with it and dont get banned.

53  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: February 26, 2017, 07:42:58 PM
I think bitcoin in this year is a good investment as i can see last week bitcoin raised up. Am newbie here but i know about bitcoin that why i think bitcoin now a days is the good one.
Yeah I do have the same thought like you. And because of that, I am holding more than 10 Bitcoin and wait until its prices to hit $2000. There is a high possibility that the prices will hit $2000 before June and therefore, I can earn a good amount of FIAT from investing Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a bright future, all of you should put more money in Bitcoin if you want to be rich

Investing in bitcoins seems to be good at a moment as we can expect higher price in coming months but its never wise to put all your money in bitcoins as we never know what will happen in future and if price falls then it can be unprofitable investment to make.

Such a situation is always to invest. Not only when investing in cryptocurrency, but also in any other object. We should always remember about the risks.
My prediction - in this year Bitcoin price reaches 2050 dollars

Yeah hopefully we will see that price at the end of the year as price is moving in a positive direction at a moment and by the end of the year there will be many new users who will start adopting bitcoins which will help in taking price even to a higher level.

Yes, the new Bitcoin users appear every day. But the attitude of some governments is not very good. So I think that a significant increase in prices Bitcoin does not happen

I see it this way. Nobody expect governments to be fond with bitcoin, so when they dont, nothing happens. Someday if they start acknowledging  it, maybe the price increase will be bigger. Not sure if we can get to $2000 this year, I expect more like a $1800 top. In next 5-10 years what I HOPE is price from 5-10k $.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: February 26, 2017, 03:21:16 PM
Not really a future money, but a good base to develop something similar. Bitcoin can never fully replace fiat, I think banks and governments will make their own cryptocurrency, learning from bitcoin and developing it to be better, and more controllable.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: February 24, 2017, 08:49:29 PM
If I understand good some SEC decision will be made on 11th of March, basically they can legitimize it. Im wondering how that will be reflected to price. I always say that biggest price increase will come when governments start acknowledging bitcoin. Not strictly as currency, but commodity or anything else.

It's an ETF that the SEC might approve on the 11th of March. It's not that they will legitimize Bitcoin, but more that they are thinking about whether or not it's a good idea to have something as volatile as Bitcoin "turned into" an ETF that will allow high level investors to take positions into Bitcoin. It's a fantastic development which won't surprise me if the price happens to shoot up after approval.

Okay, thanks for clarifying it to me Smiley. I just saw news about it today, didnt have time yet to study whats that all about. And yes, same thoughts here, it can be fantastic news for bitcoin.

I am just gambling actually to make bitcoins. but the problem is I am loosing more than I win. I hope some nice sites come in market where I can invest and rest assured that I will get profit always

So you buy bitcoin with fiat and then gamble it away? Try trading with altcoins for 1 month and see how it goes. Thrill is similar to gamble, but I think its little more safer then casino's or sports betting. Especially if you lose more then win, no point in doing it then, unless its growing to become adiction.
I wouldn't say the thrill is similar to gambling, maybe to playing the lottery, but certainly not other forms of gambling where you get immediate gratification.
Also, if you're trading for the thrill, you probably shouldn't be trading to expect any long term profits Wink

I just try to get him of gambling if he loses all the time Wink. Trading is not easy at all, I admit I cant read market, so basically all my trades are based on a hunch. And I'm patient, I buy small amount of alts, and dont sell them at lower price to cut my loses, I wait for it to climb, sometimes it takes days, sometimes weeks.
58  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: February 24, 2017, 08:05:18 PM
War will probably start in the Middle East, when Islamic countries attack Israel, The US will retaliate, in the end it will be NATO against the Arab League with Russia and even China backing the Arab league.

Islamic countries could already attack Israel if they wanted to. In fact they did back in 60is, and they couldnt defeat it back then. And now they got even smaller chances, considering Israel defence and overall weaponry. Why do you think they got so many nuclear bombs? So that Arab states dont even think of attacking them.
