I updated my Linux wallet from version 1.2.3 to version 1.2.4. Unfortunately, the client is sooo slow that the network generates more blocks than the client is synchronizing. So my client is always out of sync and the gap between my wallet and the number of blocks found is increasing. So, I never have any chance to keep my wallet synchronized with the network. Anyone know what can cause the problem? I already tried using "-reindex" but no chance... is does not sync. "getinfo" tells me the last block is 853804  |

I recently updated my wallet to v2.0 but unfortunately, I'm staking nearly nothing per day. I'm owning around 7500 coins and find around 10 blocks every day. Before the update, I found at least 30 blocks every day. Is there something wrong my wallet? The wallet is running all the time (24h/365d) without any interruption.

I'm having exactly the same problem with YoBit I'll never use YoBit again... it seems that "Transfer from cold storage" means that it's almost impossible to get the coins back or receive in your wallet |

I've now added the Bitcoin-Launchpad-Repository to my apt-get sources and installed BDB 4.8.30 again. Unfortunately, I'm still getting the same error. I'll try a previous version in the next days. Maybe I can find a version that works (but I want use POS ). As I already stated previously, I also tried other coins (Bitgem/BTG, Sprouts/SPRTS, GPUcoin/GPU and BitcoinDark/BTCD) without any error. |

Sorry for the delay but i released v2.5.1. This update will disconnect the older nodes and there will be a change to the PoS diff retageting after block 1345000. Please remove the addnodes in the conf file if there are any and delete the peers.dat. If you have issues connecting try these addnodes: addnode=84.105.200.241 addnode=89.154.0.37 addnode=50.107.86.75 addnode=68.224.238.173 addnode=83.240.176.25 addnode=73.214.14.51 If you shutdown the old wallet before block 1344639 you should be good and just sync up but after you need to remove the chain and redownload or use a backup/snapshot. Whenever I need to restart the Netcoin daemon, I'm getting the error described above, I need to delete the entire directory content in "/home/odroid/.netcoin" and I need to download the entire blockchain again. Other coins are working like a charm on my Odroid but not Netcoin, so I think it's a problem with Netcoin    Did the older Netcoin versions had this issue aswell or did it start after a certain update? Natürlich wird das FA die CSV nicht anerkennen. Man kann damit aber zurückverfolgen, wann man wie viel zu welchem Preis erhalten/gekauft bzw. ausgegeben hat und darauf basierend theoretisch eine Steuererklärung machen. Soweit ich weiß gilt Freigrenze aber für alle Gewinne im Steuerjahr und nicht nur für Bitcoin-Geschäfte und ich glaube die wenigsten werden bei einem 2 oder 3 Wochen-Urlaub in den USA 600€ Gewinn machen... Deshalb wird es auch keiner angeben  Das FA wird mit Sicherheit keinen Zugriff auf die Xapo-Konten haben. Wenn jetzt noch ein Brexit kommen sollte, dann wird das wohl noch schwieriger, weil die Karte glaub ich über Gibraltar läuft. |

@moneyoffice: Ich habe genau das beschriebene Problem, wobei bei mir noch hinzu kommt, dass ich Mining betreibe und dadurch quasi täglich meine Karte wieder aufgefüllt wird. Als ich dieses Jahr meine Steuererklärung gemacht habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass ich eben - wie üblich - den Gewinn zwischen Kauf und Verkauf entsprechend dem FiFo-Prinzip versteuern muss. Soweit recht logisch. Über die CSV-Datei, die man sich bei Xapo generieren lassen kann, erhält man auch eine Übersicht über die Transaktionen usw... das Problem ist hierbei jedoch, dass man eben auch "Splits" haben kann und das macht die ganze Schoße extrem aufwändig, wenn nicht sogar unpraktikabel. Dadurch das ich aber Cloud-Mining (ich weiß... sorry... Asche auf mein Haupt *g*) betreibe und wie gesagt dadurch quasi täglich meine Karte wieder aufgeladen wird, kann ich aber keinen konkreten Ankaufspreis geltend machen. Daher kann ich die Regel Verkaufspreis - Kaufpreis = zu versteuernder Gewinn bei mir nicht anwenden. Es ist sogar so, dass ich nicht einmal weiß, ob ich überhaupt etwas versteuern muss, weil entsprechend http://steuerberater-quermann.de?c=Steuer-bei-Bitcoin-Mining-in-Cloud-und-Pool die Gemeinschaft Steuern zahlen muss, die auch die ursprünglichen Gewinne erziehlt - und das bin in diesem Fall nicht ich, sondern der Cloud-Mining Anbieter. Ob und wie viel Steuern der entrichtet, kann ich aber nicht sagen - der Sitzt im Ausland und wird sich da wohl mit Sicherheit auch bedeckt halten. Das praktikabelste ist aus meiner Sicht, wenn ich die Miningerträge zum aktuellen Tageskurs versteuern müsste. Das kann man wenigstens einigermaßen nachweisen... Meine Anfrage bzw. Problematik liegt jetzt seit 5 oder 6 Wochen beim Steuerberater und ist wohl in der Bearbeitung. Ich vermute, dass er es weitergegeben hat und die "Zentrale" auch nicht so recht weiß, wie sie damit umgehen soll. Abgesehen davon, dass sich wohl die wenigsten dort mit Bitcoin & Co. auskennen, gibt es insbesondere beim Cloud-Mining noch viel mehr Unbekannte in der Steuerformel als beim normalen Mining. Hinzu kommt, dass nicht bekannt ist, ob Cloud-Mining jetzt auch wie das normale Mining eine gewerbliche Tätigkeit ist oder nicht... das würde die Sache nochmal in einem etwas anderen Licht erscheinen lassen. Ich hatte in der Vergangenheit schon öfters Kontakt mit dem Support von Xapo und ja, da lief alles ohne Probleme. Aber seitdem meine Karte nicht mehr funktioniert und ich mittlerweile fast 2 Monate auf eine Antwort warte, bin ich eigentlich mehr als nur enttäuscht. Ich habe mehrere Mails (auch mit dem Betreff "Urgent") an den Support geschrieben und es zuckt sich einfach keiner. Es würde mich wundern, wenn alle 4 Mails, die ich geschrieben hatte nicht raus gegangen sein sollen. Und wenn man den Support von MyChoice anschreibt, dann erhält man die Aussage, man solle sich doch bitte an Xapo wenden. Tolle Wurst... Vielleicht bin ich mit meinem monatlichen Umsatz über meine Xapo-Wallets einfach nicht groß genug, als das es sie kümmern würde. Ist mir mittlerweile aber auch egal... Komischerweise wird auf vielen Seiten angeführt, dass der Support von Xapo sich deutlich verschlechtert hat. Ich werde jedenfalls nichts mehr unternehmen um meine Karte wieder zu entsperren. Hier nochmal kurz der Beitrag aus dem englischen Bereich: When I needed to use an ATM, my card got blocked. Die Altecoinmärkte sehen momentan nicht so gut aus. Hier heißt es auch abwarten.
Naja, der Litecoin z.B. ist in den letzten Tagen ja auch deutlich über die 4$ gestiegen. Wenn das jetzt der Anfang von der nächsten Rallye sein sollte, dann könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass die Altcoins im weiteren verlauf (wenn BTC bei 800$ oder so steht) ebenso steigen. Damals sind ja viele eingestiegen, als es für den BTC quasi schon zu spät war und viele der Meinung waren, dass er demnächst einbrechen wird. Dementsprechend haben halt viele in Altcoins investiert und LTC stand damals ja auch schon bei knapp 50$. Die Zeiten haben sich zwar etwas geändert, aber warten wir's einfach mal ab... nach der laaaaangen Zeit wo es nur bergab ging bzw. nur seitwärts, ist es schön zu sehen, dass jetzt mal wieder etwas Stimmung am Markt ist...  Edit:\\ Im Verhältnis hat LTC sogar wieder Boden gut gemacht. Vor ein paar Wochen standen wir noch bei 0,000076 oder sowas zum Bitcoin. Aktuell stehen wir bei 0,000085, wobei wir schon bei 0,00009 Anfang der Woche standen. |

Also ich nutze die Karte mittlerweile nicht mehr, da sie durch die ATM-Abbuchung nach wie vor gesperrt ist. Auf meine Supportanfrag en wurde bis heute nicht geantwortet und ich werde wohl auch nie eine Antwort erhalten. Schade eigentlich... ein knappes Jahr lang konnte ich ohne Probleme damit einkaufen Da hätt' ich mal 3 Fragen: Hast du dich voll verifiziert oder hast du evtl. das Karten-Limit erreicht welches man sonst hat? Hast du mal den Mycoice-Account aktiviert und geguckt was dort so zum Status deiner Karte steht? Kannst du evtl. eine neue Karte bestellen im Xapo-Account? Und an alle Anderen: Hat die Karte schon jemand länger als 1 Jahr problemlos im Einsatz? 1. Ja, ich bin voll verifiziert und das Kartenlimit habe ich nicht erreicht. Ich konnte 100€ erfolgreich am ATM abheben. Danach wurde die Karte aber gesperrt. Wie ich erfahren habe, bin ich da nicht der einzige. Im englischsprachigen Bereich gibt es auch Berichte darüber, dass die Karte nach ATM-Withdrawals gesperrt wurden. Dort heißt es, dass es wohl eine zweite PIN für ATMs gibt, die man allerdings nicht telefonisch erhält und auch nirgendwo darauf hingewiesen wird. Ob das stimmt oder wie man die zweite PIN für ATMs bekommt, kann ich allerdings nicht sagen. 2. Dort kann ich mich nicht mehr einloggen. Dort erhalte ich immer die Aussage, dass die Karte gesperrt ist 3. Bisher habe ich leider keine Möglichkeit gefunden, eine neue Karte zu bestellen. Da muss man wohl über den Xapo-Support gehen, aber die haben sich seit über einem Monat nicht bei mir gemeldet und ich habe mehrfach angefragt. Mittlerweile verkaufe ich meine Coins einfach bei Bitcoin.de und lass mir das Geld auf mein normales Konto überweisen. Da brauch ich so eine Karte nicht mehr... |
