Where is the university forum you are talking about? I would like to read more about this. Don't worry I am not greedy, and even if I was I only have about 1200 Kh/s hashing power.

This is an awesome premise, I am going to subscribe to this thread in the hopes I can be on the bandwagon as soon as it releases. Also will this be SHA-256 or scrypt? Just wondered if all the jerks will be able to screw up the network like they do with every other SHA-256 alt coin.

I have a 6950, 6970, and 4890. I have never mined at a pool with variable difficulty so I wondered if this sounds right?
6950: Suggest Diff 80 & Max Diff 192 @ 436 Kh/s
6970: Suggest Diff 80 & Max Diff 192 @ 479 Kh/s
4890: Suggest Diff 64 & Max Diff 128 @ 140 Kh/s
Thanks in advance!

Man 2 days too late for me, I just bought one at $26. When my kids get home I will ask them if they are willing to share an account. They (all 4) play the cracked version in single player so they would probably rather have a legit copy to take turns and get on servers with but I wanna ask first, if so I will buy one from ya. Will you take any of the altcoins or do I needs to go to an exchange and trade for BTC? I currently only have FTC but can always trade it if necessary.

With BTC @ 115 USD is the Win 8 Pro keys still that much? Also would you take the equivalent in FTC or LTC or do I need to go to one of the exchanges and transfer to BTC? Thanks.

Not trying to derail the thread but do you have any idea where I could get a hold of a Win 8 Pro key?
Check the Digital Goods, one just popped up for sale. It is DreamSpark. I have access to that as well, but I am unable to legally provide DreamSpark keys at the moment. Thank you! Now just gotta see if he is legit .

Would you take 130 FTC instead? Also do you have any feedback on this or litecoin forum?

Well I just had my fan on my GPU go. Took it out, vaccummed it, but still makes a terrible noise when it spins. Does not seem user replaceable...
What model is your GPU, I should be able to tell you if you can replace the fan.

Any idea why the auto payout is not working? It did let me do it manually but just curious as I had it set to auto payout at over 5 FTC and when I got over 10 it still had not payed out so I did it manually.

If you can convince them the same person owns both accounts you could sell it. I got the BF3 from foggy and then messaged support through Live Chat. I had went to the new account and sat the security question the same as my main account. The person I talked to actually took the game from the account foggy sold me and put it on my account. I just told them that a friend bought the game for me but he messed up and activated it on an account before I could activate it on mine and that I did not want to have to mess around with 2 Origin accounts. It took the guy maybe 10 minutes to get everything transferred over.

Can you help me figure out what is wrong when I try to use 3.0.1? It is specific to this new version because 2.11.4 is still working. I am on Windows 7 x64 with all the updates and I have a 6970 in it with the 13.5 beta 2 AMD drivers. cgminer.exe caused an Access Violation at location 004312fa in module cgminer.exe Reading from location 052d51ce.

foggyb came through and now I have BF3 on my Origin account. Honest salesperson, I would deal with again.

Any ETA on the NVC pool? There is so few options right now, it really sucks.

I had no problem meeting the requirements, hell by the time I got my 5th post I was surprised to see I had 12 hours logged in. I did however do a lot of reading before I posted at all. My only knowledge before coming here was with LTC, (it's what I started with) but after being here a bit I learned quite a lot. If you find the right stuff to read these forums has a wealth of information about BTC and other alt coins that I didn't even know about.

Cool concept, I would happily throw my miners at this coin!

How am I supposed to get enough RUC to make the cell? I'm so confused but it seems you can't mine unless you already have coins?
