I got similar situation, my main BTC address on blockchain.info is now watch only address but I need to get private key from address on blockchain.info to try getting BTG from that address?
By main address I mean that was my address for long time and before and after BTG fork come where I was keeping few BTC. I don't know why I changed that before I took private key from there and now I can't get private key for that watching address or I'm doing something wrong?
Now, when I import that address in coinomi wallet I can see all my transfers but I can't manage to get BTG from that in Coinomi wallet. Is there some other way to get BTG from that address now?

Sorry please correct me if I'm wrong, but what do you mean by you changed it before you took the private key? Do you mean you deleted it in your imported addresses on blockchain.info before backing up its private key and now you imported it but it now becomes a watch address. If so, Most probably you did not imported a private key but a public key. Do you still have an accesss from the wallet that it came from? Backups? To claim your BTG you need your private keys, Since its a watch address you can't get it. Now with pass phrase I can acces to my wallet and I got all info on coinomi about my earlier transfers and in time when fork happen coins were there. but when I create BTG wallet explained on their web site my balance is 0, dunno why. I can give you address so you can look also, ballance there is 0 now but you can see history in fork time As i know by that date, blockchain.info still uses their old version of wallet. They switched to a new version now which uses a 12 word seed. So how many words does your seed have?. Are you really sure you can access it? Meaning to say, you can spend your coins not just viewing your transaction history? And yes paste your address here. This was my address I used for long time 1349phVGx8ZHhXwbM8Q7iu3NLwcddFcaX1 this was my last adress with coins at fork time 1AsBHKGWVHVvnmjEaPmd51MPqYZSHztj5d which is now watch only... I got 12 word pass phrase I think for this 1AsBH... address 1249ph... is my oldest btc address from year 2013 when I started mining etc will this help? The snapshot took place on block 491406 so if you have bitcoins at the time of the fork, you will have your BTG's. Now, If you look at Address 1AsBHKGWVHVvnmjEaPmd51MPqYZSHztj5d, The first transaction it received was included in block 496234 which was after the snapshot. Meaning to say there is no BTG in this address as well as bitcoins so you can ignore this address. Address 1349phVGx8ZHhXwbM8Q7iu3NLwcddFcaX1 has too many transactios so I don't have time to examine all of them obviously. But I checked it on block explorers, It has a balance of 5.34429604 BTG. You can check it here: https://btgexplorer.com/address/GKu5EppDvzAan1EtH54E9fPGG7QUhQ49eZ. Bitcoin Gold has its own address format which is why if you enter your BTC address in other BTG block explorer's, They will find no result. It's fine in https://btgexplorer.com as it also displays the address BTC format. So Address 1349phVGx8ZHhXwbM8Q7iu3NLwcddFcaX1 belongs to blockchain.info right? Is it an imported address or not? or is it an address included in your HD wallet in blockchain.info (Included in your Seed)

I have the 17 word passphrase, Its there anyway i can still access the wallet?
Sorry man, Can't help much with the 17 word passphrase. Try reading this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1989044.0. He had a similar problem as yours but this requires you to have your .aes.json files. I do not have the .aes.jason files, only the 17 word passphrase |

Can someone please advise, I have been unable to access my blockchain wallet, when i login it displays Welcome to your blockchain and when i click on the Continue button, the page logs out and redirects to blockchain homepage, I have funds in the wallet which i really need and the 17 word passphrase, I have emailed blockchain countless time but they seem not to figure out the issue, and recently thier support dont reply anymore. I dont know what else to do. Its there any wallet which supports 17 word passphrase so i can access the funds in my wallet? |

So you forgot your wallet identifier? What do you mean you cannot log in? You should be able to enter your wallet identifier and your password. Assuming they are both correct you should log in or be take to the next log in step. What exactly do you mean by "cant login to blockchain"? I have the wallet identifier, email access, password, 17 words passpharse but when i login it displays a message which says Welcome to your Blockchain and when i click on the Continue button, the page logs out and rediects to blockchain homepage. Seems strange as my other wallets are working fine. |

Maybe try anothee browser or another wallet. I have sometimes issues with some mini browsers for mobile device.
Another wallet: It should be not difficult to import seed to another wallet like electrum or mycelium. But I don't know wich one supports 17w.
I have tried different browsers and on mobile device but still not able to access my wallet homepage. I dont know which which which wallet support 17 word passphrase. Anyone knows? |

I have tried https://blockchain.info/wallet/recover-wallet, and entered my 17 word passpharse but it displays just my identifier and my password, i already have the details before. Can I know the 12 words passphrase from the 17 words mnemonics? I don't see any ways to convert the 17 phrase backup to 12 word mnemonic try also this link https://blockchain.info/wallet/forgot-passwordits looks like different link so i just posted here and put your 17 words don't click the hd wallet recovery because its only 12 word seeds.. And hope you can recover your wallet.. If ever didn't work the only way that i think could help you is to contact the support of blockchain since you had your backup.. Also would like to ask if you already tried to change your browser or try to other device or computer if its working or not maybe its only in your computer that is why you couldn't login.. I have tried the link provided but when i put the 17 word passphrase it just shows my login identifier and password , Also i have tried to login on my mobile phone (IOS) but it displays Creating V3 Wallet and it stays like that without any further action. However i have contact blockchain today, i hope they are able to do something about my account. |

No, once you change your recovery seed or shuffled it then it will generate new set of address, if you're trying to make 12-word ourlt of your 17 word seed, nay I know if when did you created this wallet? And when your last login on your account? Since AFAIK 17 word seed are came from 3-4 years ago of blockchain wallet. I created the wallet since 2013 and used it until 2014 that was last time i accessed it. I have other several i created then and recently i tried them and was able to login without any issues excelpt only this one wallet seems strange to me. |

Are you getting a link sent to your email which you have to click to verify the browser? If so you could be clicking on an onion one which will not let you access the wallet.
Yes i do get a link sent to my email and i click to verify the browser What do i do? I also have the 17 word backup passphrase, can i use it on any wallet to recover my coins? I had a little bit different but similar problem. I created wallet, was able to login at first and didn't use for 1 month, then decided to return back on this blockchain wallet. However everything seemed ok, I received confirmation email but was unable to log in, didn't write to support because don't had any money and created new one, this last one works pretty well, never had any problem. If you had bitcoins on it, try that 17 word backup or contact support. But if you don't had btc, then create new one and see if you will be able to login without problems for 2 week to prevent further problems. Thank you for your reply Yes i have about 0.005 BTC on the wallet and the 17 word backup phrase is not working on blockchain when trying to recover a wallet it asks for 12 word. I am just confused and dont know what to do Please can i be able to recover my coins? Thanks. |

Are you using https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/ ? Most likely: empty your browser cache/cookies. You can easily test if this is the cause by opening the site in private browsing mode: use your right mouse button on the above link, then select "open in New Private Window". Or press CTRL-SHIFT-P in Firefox or CTRL-SHIFT-N in Chrome. Yes i am using the new link and i have both cleared browser cache/cookies with New private Window but the same problem is still happening. I dont know what is actually the cause. |

I am unable to access my blockchain wallet homepage, when i login it displays a page which says Welcome to your Blockchain Wallet and it shows features and when i click on the Continue Button to exit the page logs out and redirects back to Blockchain homepage

I lost access to my blockchain account but i have the backup passphrase, i have imported the address to a new wallet on a different blockchain account and it requests the private key inorder to use the funds. Please what can i do?
Since you have the passphrase, then there is nothing you can do but what I am surprised about is the fact that blockchain.info asking for private key when they don't provide one because everything they do is just the passphrase and I expect that you should have uncontrolled access since you have done that already.
