Minor improvement of speed in v12.4. Hope that is more stable.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Burned PCIe to PSU connector on: March 17, 2017, 09:58:17 PM
Hi,
After 3+ years of continuous mining I found melted PCIE connectors (in different stage) in connectors seems to be formed a little oxide (visible in unused), so imperfect contact was the cause. This happened only with one PSU, low quality connectors.

Blackbytes arrived also. Thanks.

Hello everyone

I would like to request some help, i'm new to cryptocurrencies and I've found Ultracoin and got interested in it but I'm having some troubles in mining it, it's almost certain I'm doing something wrong lol
I'm trying to use yacminer to gpu mine and I've tried to follow the instructions on the pool website (http://utc14.yacoin.club/) but the pool isn't recognizing my worker.

sorry for the trouble guys

here is the screenshots of the miner and bat file: http://imgur.com/a/8rLT9

Hi,

You need to add:
--scrypt-chacha --starttime 1446256800 --nfmin 14 --nfmax 14

and probably more option, depends on your cards (--lookup-gap , --thread-concurrency or --buffer-size, Intensity,)

Alcurex its scam, never use this platform you just lost your fund like me.

I use Alcurex from beginning and I don't have any problems. I never lost coins.

Account received. Thanks ocminer.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 17, 2017, 07:52:52 PM
For 280X cards I need to reduce intensity to 4, with -i 5 freeze after a few hours even  with no OC. No problem so far for other cards with default intensity. (v12.0)

Regarding to the 12 witnesses, this number (12) is chosen on some calculations? More witnesses, let's say 24, it's not more secure?
Read the whitepaper, its explained there.

I readed. But perhaps I not fully understand this system. Not yet.

Nice speed improvement.
"...not enough memory, intensity value reduced (5)" this is related to GPU memory or system memory? For me  280X and 7950 with 3G can run at i 5.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 14, 2017, 06:51:35 AM
Let's see what will be in the future, so far byteball is superior to other cryptocoins which raised many BTC from ICO.

Lowering NF will have an positive impact.
54  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - BTC,DVC,LTC denominated Stock Exchange/Crowdfunding Platform on: February 07, 2017, 10:05:36 AM
Still cannot receive the confirmation email and now this....

"Cryptostocks will seize its service on 30.04.2017

The platform will remain operational till that date. Please withdraw all your funds before the deadline. Withdrawals after 30.4.2017 are processed manually and will incur a fee of 0.1 BTC per transaction. Regarding questions about the securities, we ask you to contact the security issuer, they will be receiving all needed shareholder details. The website will be taken down on 1.6.2017"

I hope there is a window between April 30th and June 1st where a manual withdrawal will work - but I will be robbed of .1 BTC for this Sad

Same for me. Confirmation email is broken for withdrawal (approx. 1 year ago). I have a small amount left here, anyway is less than 0.1BTC fee .... probably many people is in this situation.

thanks for 1.1.0 and a feature request:

I like to keep my cryptocoin data directories on an encrypted drive, so it would be nice if byteball was flexible in where it puts it's data directory.
A start paramater like bitcoin's -datadir=... would be just fine for a start.

same here.
I vote this up  Wink

This will be a nice feature.

Is it me or is the transition bot not working?

I can get the buy and sell bot to show up and can communicate with it, but the transition bot is not starting a conversation.

Same for me.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: January 17, 2017, 10:36:29 AM
I'm only getting about 270H/s on a 290, is that unusual?

If you have reference card take a look at:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1564219/modded-r9-390x-bios-for-r9-290-290x-updated-02-16-2016

1000/1250 335-340H/s
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: January 16, 2017, 11:19:28 PM
Overall is speed improvement, depends of cards, for me notable speed increase is for 290/390
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: January 07, 2017, 11:55:06 PM
For me 290/390 with V9.3 is faster, for other cards is some increase in V10
