To guarantee the long run of cloud mining, ViaBTC has no choice but have to readjust our maintenance fees. The arrangements are as follows:
1. S9 contracts: From UTC time 8:00 12th January 2018, maintenance fee ratio for S9 contracts will be adjusted from 6% to 50%.

Really? I hope you are not correct.
A person at BitmainWarranty, less than 2 weeks ago, offered to sell me 29, a few month old, S9 miners - I offered him a price over twice what you are saying Bitmain sells them for ...
He accepted the price, then reneged on it the next day saying he wanted more ...
If you are correct, then I would not suggest anyone ever go near BitmainWarranty ever again ...
They are insanely high on Ebay, maybe they thought they could get more? I dunno. I might have been looking at the wrong item. I just checked the site and it says: Antminer S9-13.5TH/s Shipping: March 1-10,2018 2320 USD ( 0.16888080 BTC; 0.94561364 BCH; 9.88517011 LTC; ) So yeah, $1000 over old prices. But still, it's half what they want for the Avalon on that site. Crypto is always higher than Minerwarez, so I will wait and see what they offer them for. I might just stay at my hash rate if they are (in my mind) too costly and 4000 is too costly for my tastes. |

Avalon 821s are available at cryptouniverse for preorders, late jan early feb delivery. Get one! Mine on!
4000+ dollars.  I refuse to pay that much for a miner. I'll stick with trying to get Antminers for 1450 or whatever they were last round. I think the S9s were about twice that price last round ... No, they were back down to normal at least when I checked yesterday. Well, they were 1450 I think not 1240 like they used to be. I had only seen them once really high. But lord knows I don't always see them for sale  |

Is there anything I have to enable on an Avalon 741 to get Awesome Miner to access it to monitor it like the Bitmain units? I can get all my Antminers to work, but this Avalon 741 I am not having much luck.

What mining software does the Avalon 741 use? Have you looked at this page for some clues? http://awesomeminer.com/help/minerapi.aspxI had looked at that, but I just checked it again and that helped. I got it working thanks! |

I just started getting into mining and have a small 2pac farm. After 2 weeks now I finally have .00021061 BTC in my account, but I have not been sent my payment yet. I know dust payments are not automatically sent out and payments send after 100 block confirms, but I now have double what is required to send. I was curious when my payment would send. my username is Zach on KanoPool.
Your payment will go out if: 1. You have 0.0001 in any given block reward 2. The block gets 101 confirms 3. After the 101 confirms we find another block* Certain circumstances may apply. |

Thanks for the feedback... Truly? My S9 (13.5 Th/s), if fully ramped up could have pulled in near 0.01 BTC payout? So in a month where the pool finds 8 blocks I could be looking at 0.08 and 0.35 on a month when we find 35 blocks? I know this also depends on the block value and the total hashing power of the pool at the time but this is extremely appealing. Am I reading into your reply wrong?
I am pretty sure you will not get .01 with an S9 only. |

The main stratum in in Vegas...that's close to the west coast That probably explains why it is the fastest for me so far. Sounds good. |
