Hey! I have some onions in my wallet for almost a week now, but they still haven't matured yet. Is that because I kept my wallet unlocked?
No it's okay to keep it unlocked! It's the other way around: If you lock it, it won't stake! You probably just have to wait, maybe your weight is pretty small, so it will take some days! Type "getstakinginfo" in the console window and it will show you the estimated time (few days is pretty normal) It says this: 09:08:37 getstakinginfo 09:08:37 { "enabled" : true, "staking" : false, "errors" : "", "currentblocksize" : 1230, "currentblocktx" : 1, "pooledtx" : 1, "difficulty" : 0.87326440, "search-interval" : 1, "weight" : 0, "netstakeweight" : 62560705, "expectedtime" : -1 } Oh okay. May I ask you, when did you transfer them into your wallet? It takes them 24 hours to mature (seems like they are younger ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) Make sure your wallet is fully synced, a week you should have had matured coins by now, did you add nodes to your conf file? Follow this tutorial if you have not done so already. https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-tor-wallet-creating-conf-file.63/Already done when I installed the wallet. Everything is green, 18 active connections, fully synced and up-to-date, just no mature coins yet, even though 1 week has passed. Could it be because I only have 0.1 coins in my wallet and it will take much longer?

hi friends. Due to wallet error and new setup procedure does my private key remain the same after syncing of wallet?
yes since I also had problems at the beginning I had to do setup procedure several times. PK did not change. How did you solve your problems? I cannot synch first of all you need to be quite a bit patient. after opening the wallet takes some time to even start wiht sync. Thanks I'll wait more. Let you know. I let the wallet open all nigh and no synch. I have updated nodes and i can connect to tor. Can someone help me? Maybe check your firewall settings.

Any news? People are eager for new stuff like new algorithms etc... (actually, I wrote that just to put it on 1st page ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ) Well, for the past week I've been researchin gand experimenting with CUDA, and I'm starting to work on cuda wrapper for rust, that I will use in the miner. ey man! I installed the newest AMD drivers and now no more memory problems, everything works fine on AMD and Nvidia as well. Thanks!

a little Sneak Peek of New System ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fdeeponion.org%2Fbitcointalk%2Fsuccessnew.png&t=664&c=n0fYdTz8pZOl5w) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fdeeponion.org%2Fbitcointalk%2Fcheckstatusnew.png&t=664&c=JS0JPs351-OWuw) dev, Is this new system for new users joining the airdrop or should all the existing users have to re-register in the new system as well? Can't wait to try out the new system. But first I need to be eligible ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Hi! I'm using the latest version of Prospector with 2 RX 480's and mining SIGT. All is going well until I get an insufficient memory error. I watched the Prosecutor.exe task in the task manager under windows and the memory size increases with around 50MB every 2 seconds. Is there a fix for this?
Well, I couldn't reproduce this issue on my PC, if this occurs every time, you could help me with tracking it down. Yeah, I tried restarts, running as an admin. The memory usage goes from 116MB to 3GB in 2 minutes. When it gets to my max RAM a pop-up appears with insufficient memory. Ill try and screenshot it for you.

4 months ago 8BG wasn't really a big yes at that time. 4 GB was fine.
What have changed so much since that ?
I own 6 RX 470 and one rx480 ... all 4 gb
And you're not satisfied?

Already bought an msi rx 480 ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Getting 27MH with no bios flash, just afterburner OC. Thinking of buying 2 more then get a custom mining rig frame and other components. Please tell us with which values you have OC this GPU. Screenshots would be fine. Thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) There you go! http://imgur.com/a/vEI3J

Hi guys!
I currently have a gtx970 on my desktop rig and I'm mining only ETH. I want to buy another GPU and I wanted to ask whether another GTX 970 in SLI would be beneficial for me or should I opt for an RX 480? Would an AMD and NVidia card get along in the same rig, mining ETH? I'm waiting for other GPU suggestions if you have any.
Thanks in advance, Andrei
Stick with AMD Rx 480 as they are the best. RX 470 is good too. But I would love to mine with Rx480. Try to go with only RX480 in one rig. I feel that it would be much better than getting AMDs and NVIDIA running together on a single rig. Happy Mining Mate! I live in Europe I'm afraid, but thanks for the links!
I found some warehouse deals for the MSI and Sapphire rx 480 8GB almost same price around 250$. Which one would you choose between them 2? OC wise and bios modding wise?

Yep, just need to find something similar in Europe cause I need different plug socket. I installed the Corsair link software but I can't see the consumption anywhere.

You don't need SLI or crossfire for mining, you can mix cards.
Unless Groovy1962 is right about the ETH mining timebomb has been delayed, investing in hardware for ETH right now is foolish. Another factor is if ETH its self is a bubble but that is a topic for the altcoin discussion section far as going in depth on that one.
The 480 will hash more and consume less electric than the 970. Don't invest in hardware on a random whim. Put some consideration into whether or not this mining surge will last long enough for your hardware investment to profit. If mining is short lived you may be better off with the 970 since it can SLI for gaming and make 1/3rd to 1/2 an ROI at least
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm seriously thinking of buying a rx480 then, cause I'm kinda feeling lucky with ETH. Do you think that my PSU - 750 Watt Corsair RM750i Modular 80+ would be enough to power both cards? 750 watts is enough to run 2 rx 480s on a stock bios. You can run 4 cards with a undervolt and have plenty of safety margin, for me at the wall 4 card rx 470/480 consumes less than 550 watts @ 27 mh per card. Consider building a frame so you can add more gpus in the future, if profit holds out we always end up expanding, nature of the game. Yep, I'm considering building a 6 gpu rig with a big frame in the future, but for the beginning I started with buying an MSI rx 480 which should arrive in a few days. Regarding the voltage, is there any software that can tell me how many watts the gpu is consuming?

I bought an MSI rx480 cause I've heard it's a lot cooler. Does any of you know or can link me to a tutorial that shows how to mine in the same time on a NVIDIA card and an AMd one (what miners to use?)
