I think that this coin is one of the most promising in the cryptocurrency market, but unfortunately we should not expect that it will soon begin to grow.

Being about to use SONM on ARM would be a huge advantage, it's a shame that we have to wait one whole year for it to be made available. Is it possible to throw more developers at the project and make it happen sooner?
i think sonm team is doing great and they work on developments very fast sonm project is huge so it takes time to be fully develop. I understand your concerns but you forget this is a completely new type of technology, with none of the guarantees that AWS or Azure and such have. It takes a long time to 1. convince businesses to rent or sell their computing power, and 2. convince customers to buy that power. Right now what sonm has is a working and scalable product. What we need now is customers who want to buy, in order to draw in businesses who want to sell. The demand needs to be created before the supply has to be provided. One of the best ways to do this, IMO, is by having a referral program, which should be operational by q1 of 2019. |

I agree on that. I think it still has a fan-base. As soon as they bring out something new, I think the value will increase again quite fast. Untill then, we know what to do v0.17 was just released. I can't speak to token economics and potential ROI, but if we are talking about pure innovation and quality of project then Hadron is right at the top of my list. They are working on a decentralized computing network for massively scaled AI training. The team consists of members from Stanford, Harvard, Berkley, Google, and Microsoft.
A lot of companies are doing this (Sonm, Golem, even Amazon and Microsoft themselves). Time will tell whether some will overtake the others, or if the market will be big enough to feature them all |

What do you mean, doing nothing? Their website is being updated regularly (already twice since their launch) and they just secured a partnership with the Archipelago group. Yeah, i know. Maybe im overreacted a little but i don't see a real progress. Website update and partnership is a good thing no doubt. But this is not how I thought it would go. Where is mobile app and ico voting platform(was supposed to go out a few months ago)? Lack of communication could be big issue for this project it badly need community manager who keep the updated to the community with latest updates and what is the status of these features. It is very difficult to get big success in the presence of big exchanges. thats the thing with most of this market, a lot of IT talent but very few community care. I attempted with multiple emails to get ahold of ENVION. they had responded in the past, now no responses in last 4 months to multiple emails. corrupt, but a good early lesson for ICO's. unfortunately many will have trust issues now with an ICO
Who exactly were you contacting? "Envion" is more or less divided as their CEO and founders clashed and sued each others. I think both parties are responding trough their lawyers now. back when I was getting responses I had an open support ticket and dialogue with someone named Sonja. not responses in last few months though good luck getting in touch with a decisionmaker at envion, the company is in ruins after their legal spouts. I dont think it'll go anywhere ever again |

I understand panzers concerns, but one thing he is forgetting is that this is a brand new technology, and right now we don't need massive revenue or high price deals yet. We need a working and scalable product, which sonm is. We need something that can someday compete with AWS, Azure, ..
The amount of money spent on deals today is low, very low, but consider the early years of the IT giants of today (amazon, ebay, google, facebook, ...). None of them did well. Even Tesla, one of the most well known businesses in the world, was nearly bankrupt this year. Money isn't everything, and sonm doesnt need to work just so they can pay back investors. They need it to work so that they can change the world like the internet did.
Also, the 'missing' CEO has been explained countless times, he just doesn't want to be featured in videos. Lots of companies, especially in IT, have a CEO that doesnt appear in public.

This is one of the projects which raised money using fancy whitepaper to show how the platform will work in future. They are incompatible to deliver what they raised money for that's why investing in any project which doesn't have MVP or prototype at least is like donating money for to them. They communicate once in a month to show they are still around and that's all. Token is still on two well reputed exchanges that's why I will not call them scam but incompetent suits more better.
I guess, this still have a chance but bad reputation will kill this project in the long run. They changes the terms on the bounty program and therefore bounty participants did not receive the actual amount due, their incompetence will lead to the failure of this project, but as always, there's time to correct whatever mistakes they did in the past. they're not active anymore, the bounty scam was the start of their downfall which uncovered a lot of inconsistencies as well as a bunch of lies they told to get so many funding for their ICO |
