41  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 18, 2015, 05:28:27 PM

You can buy 100 coins if you just learn about Bitcoin last week, it's only 24 000$
[/quote

Believe it or not 'only 24 000$' is an awful lot more than the vast majority of people can afford to gamble with.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 17, 2015, 09:22:56 AM
You are a newbie.. how the fuck you got that many coins?

I'm not a newbie.  I bought in first in April 2011.  I just haven't posted much up here.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 17, 2015, 12:42:01 AM
What do you think? I think I might be close. I'm guessing $10,000 per bitcoin by then.

Bitcoin price top was about 1250$, and ure wondering will you get 10k per btc in 2020.. i think you will sell way before 2020, when price goes to 2-3k per btc.
@op yeah, i believe you definetly will, but there may be low volume for dumping at that price,if/when that happens, just dont baghold hoping for more if thats your goal.
cheers

Yes. I dont understand why people dream of $10k Bitcoin if they will sell way before it will reach $2000.

I won't sell my bitcoins. I've done that already and bought a modest house. At least I have that if bitcoin goes tits up. I have 100 left and going to enjoy the ride now.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 14, 2015, 12:19:09 AM
Bitcoin will just be over $1,000 by then.

A hundred thousandaire.

If BTC isnt 10k by then it will be dissapointing.

I agree.  I do feel that there is huge movement in the development sphere and people will wake up to bitcoin well before 2020.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 11, 2015, 01:34:17 AM
I think the bitcoin price will rise to 10'000 dollars when the block reward will be < 1 BTC, so as write here :

in that moment I think (& hope) we will see 8-10 k dollars per bitcoin.

2032?  I'll be too old by then.  I want to be a playboy.  As it is, I'm pushing it.  I'm 42 now.  Grin
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 07, 2015, 07:43:57 PM
Unless $23K is an insignificant amount for you, no you will not. You are over invested and will be emotional on price movements. If price falls 80% will you panic sell? If you double your money one year and then it falls back to your original investment amount the following year will you still hold?

Don't worry, it's all profit for me. I bought in originally at $1 and again at $7 and $13 and made enough money to buy my house. I've 100btc left and just want to retire. I'm sick of my job.

48  Economy / Speculation / Do you really think bitcoin can't fail? on: December 18, 2014, 08:19:10 AM
I'm not trying to be a scare mongering bear but the last few months have been difficult to stomach.  I don't have much to lose as I made a lot of money last year with bitcoin so if it tanks so be it but I'd love to see it soar.
I haven't lost faith yet but starting to.
What do you think?
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitstamp was hacked - Speculation on: November 19, 2014, 12:07:23 AM
Who the f*ck stores their coins on an exchange?  I'll tell you who.  Idiots and morons.  I had coins on MtGox and as it became increasingly obvious that transferring FIAT currency from MtGox was taking weeks, I cancelled all my $ withdrawals and bought back in to bitcoin.  Once I had all in bitcoin again, I transferred all my bitcoin from MtGox to my own secure wallet.  This was 2 months before MtGox stopped bitcoin withdrawals.  The writing was on the wall for ages.  I tried warning friends but they had blind faith in MtGox!
50  Economy / Economics / Re: I had a thought today on: November 18, 2014, 01:26:18 AM
Sounds daft but we should measure the value of bitcoins in Big Macs or something like it.  It would give a far clearer picture long term.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoinity.org/markets - live bitcoin price charts on: November 16, 2014, 01:25:10 PM
It would be helpful to have a graph tracking the number of connected users over time.  Any chance of that?
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just bought 100btc on: November 09, 2014, 10:52:10 PM
If you consider 5 years being soon, then yes.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 14, 2014, 07:56:55 AM
I purchased some around $300. I'm not selling

Same here.

I also bought some around $500, $450, $400 and $350 on the way down. I'd be crazy to sell now.

That doesn't even include my old coins, bought in early 2013, average cost $120. No way I sell for triple digits.

I'm only going to sell when we get to 5 digits ;-)
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Euromillions €100 million jackpot on: October 02, 2014, 03:44:28 PM
With the value of the euro going down I think you could buy a cup of coffee with that.
At the moment BTC is going down in value a lot quicker than the euro unfortunately.
55  Economy / Speculation / Euromillions €100 million jackpot on: October 02, 2014, 03:22:56 PM
Out of curiosity, if I won this jackpot tomorrow evening and spent it all buying bitcoins, what do you think it would do to the price of bitcoin?
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need to retire already on: September 17, 2014, 07:33:57 PM
15K is easily achievable in our lifetime. But do you have faith in it though to see it through 15k?

Yes I do have faith in bitcoin and do certainly believe it will hit 15k but when is the issue. I'm sick of my job now. I've no choice but to carry on working so like everybody else I'll grin and bear it. I could be a lot worse off.
57  Economy / Speculation / I need to retire already on: September 17, 2014, 09:12:06 AM
OK guys and gals, I've 80 bitcoins (did have 410, but sold most to buy a house last September. Bad timing or what!)
Anyhoo, I'm sick of work and figure if bitcoins get to $15,000 I can retire.
When do you reckon that will happen?
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: who is dumping 2.5k bitcoins now? on: August 07, 2014, 09:56:16 AM
the raise has stopped, i think the op is right, we are heading back to $300

$300 eh?
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good News but Price drops ? on: August 01, 2014, 12:31:18 AM
The price has never been stable. What are you talking about? Huh
It's people shitting their pants over the BitLicense crap. Who cares, but some big whales do, and they dumped like 1k BTC and made the price go down.

It was months stable ever about 480 to 500 euro.
Never heard for BitLicense

No, that's not stable at all. And no, it wasn't at 480 EUR to 500 EUR. ($641-$669).
Highest was $670, lowest was $560 for the last month. Seriously. That's not stable at all.
Never heard of BitLicense? You must've been living under a rock, please read the news.

I don't have every day time to read the Bitcoin news. I also have a life between NYC and Europe, so it is not easy to be every day online
what's it like being the only jetsetter without a cell phone?  Cheesy

+1 LOL
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: June Prediction? Analysis/Speculation share your madness either way! on: June 02, 2014, 01:20:13 AM
Based on previous bubbles, I believe these values will happen sometime during these months:

June - $650
July - $850
August - $6000
September - $2000
October - $1800
November - $1600
December - $1500

Search the forums if you want to know why people vote the way they do.

I salute your insight and will be keeping an eye on your further prophecies!  Grin
