41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CoinonatX-PoW/PoS-Masternodes-75% APR (CXT Sister) -NEW THREAD on: October 24, 2017, 11:34:02 PM
I'm starting to wonder if there's an active dev at all. There have been no commits since early August and fixing the site would be easy.

Dev is active and is working on the issues

-support team

Wallet is tooooo slow. Try fixing this. I spent half a day syncing and it's still 2 weeks behind wth ??
I've got a decent internet connection though.
It just keeps freezing now and then as well.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In it just for the money? on: October 24, 2017, 11:25:18 PM
90% of the people who invest in ICOs including me are usually in just for the profits.
Nothing else.

Even if the project is amazing bla bla bla but still what's important is: Will I make money over here or check another one ?
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone tried Storage Mining STORJ? on: October 24, 2017, 11:23:48 PM
Tried it. It's useless.
All the hard drive mineable coins are useless right now.
Same goes for Burst.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold is useless on: October 24, 2017, 10:30:53 PM
All the Bitcoins are useless. I did a transaction today in BTC and paid 2.50 in fees, it took 40 minutes. It's a ponzi scheme, not a store a value. You can't have a value stored in something useless.

Post the definition of "Ponzi". Then tell us who the operator is. Also, tell us who promised you anything. Also, who told you there is little risk?

Bye now

In 2017, it is pointless to argue with someone who claims Bitcoin is a Ponzi. Sympathize with him and help him to get a psychologist.

God you fanboys are dumb, it's like a religion. It's an operatorless Ponzi scheme, run by idiot fans who can't face the music. Bitcoin isn't good enough to be currency.

Then please remove your signature and gtfo.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help with Paragon Did not revice my coins and they say Im not registed.. on: October 23, 2017, 11:47:57 PM
It took you 7 minutes to look for them and find them. Cheesy
Next time no need to rush to create a topic here.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Santa is going digital with his brand new ICO on: October 23, 2017, 11:38:11 PM
Yeah you're funny.
This is pathetic. You just created an erc-20 token for less than $15 and launched a website and now want to sell the tokens ?

LOL. You made me laugh so hard that you think you're smart and you'll become rich.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Doubt on: October 23, 2017, 10:54:33 PM
You just don't know how to search for things properly.

https://www.google.com.eg/search?q=RX580++site%3Abitcointalk.org&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-ab&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=uHLuWdbFF5LZ8AfD4I2IDQ

Anyway, currently mining is good for zcash and ethereum.

Ethereum= rx 570/580 cards
Zcash= nvidia gtx 1060/1070/1080 cards.

Make some research on prices, profitability and decide for yourself.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you going to invest in now? on: October 23, 2017, 12:40:50 PM
None of these.
I've gone for zcash. The price dropped a lot down to $205 now.
Its normal price range is above $230. So if it goes up again it will surely surpass that.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best investment to ICO on: October 23, 2017, 11:46:17 AM
Check out boosteroid. It's interesting. They got half a million in a few hours already.

50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: By now above 3 million people use cryptocurrencies on: October 21, 2017, 01:00:35 PM
And how did they come up with this number ?
I can't see any possible method to count how many people use crypto since there's an endless number of altcoins plus every person can have thousands of addresses for each.

This is just a wild guess made into an article.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] | Bitcoin Red | Bitcolors on: October 21, 2017, 12:58:31 PM
It's already being traded on etherdelta.

52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchanges on: October 21, 2017, 12:54:59 PM
They really capture my attention and I like that no one has control over your funds but it's just you and some free traders.
Etherdelta is a great example for decentralized exchanges.

You can literally trade any token you want there even it hasn't been listed yet by using the contract address. It's incredible and I wish to see something similar applied to other altcoins.
53  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinurl is it worth using or not ? on: October 21, 2017, 12:49:10 PM
Not really. Don't expect to get paid a lot out of it.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical day bitcoin price 6000 $ on: October 20, 2017, 11:11:28 PM
I guess this hype is caused by the coming hard fork. People who were there when the Bitcoin cash was created were really happy for the free money they got.
People who missed it are now selling whatever altcoins they have and are going full on bitcoins and even buying more in order to be part of the fun this time.

I really think that once this noise is over (I actually believe BTG is scammy. The dev just said on twitter that they have  premine :/) the price of btc will drop down by a lot.
55  Other / Meta / Re: Why do these HUGE threads just remain there ? on: October 17, 2017, 09:23:46 PM
You came to this conclusion after 27 posts? you seem like that you know a lot about this forum, If I go somewhere as a noob, it'll take months for me to be open as you are now. You're just a noob but you are ordering mods like they are your servants. Mods are trashing threads, We don't know which ones, Only they know. I am offended, I had 3 of my posts deleted after I logged in.
EDIT:
I am not offended at all Cheesy I can see our lovely mods deleted eBTC thread, I suggested it myself Cheesy great job, LOVE you Satoshi (Theymos) and Hilariousandco as well as every other moderator.

Well guess what I'm not a noob. I just spend most of my time reading and learning rather that typing some shit here and there.

I've been a member since April. That's six months if you don't know how to count.
I'm not ordering anyone.

I just see something that I don't like and I'm suggesting solutions to it.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does one obtain Electroneum? on: October 17, 2017, 07:01:26 PM
Well I guess you got your question answered. Please lock this thread.
57  Other / Meta / Re: Why do these HUGE threads just remain there ? on: October 17, 2017, 06:59:43 PM
I would personally ban sig campaigns.. help make this forum good again

I don't want them to ban sig campaigns. Just a simple small rule that no managers should count these posts is enough.

Staff and mods don't even get paid that much. So I just want these campaigns to remain for their sake as they can participate in them.
58  Other / Meta / Why do these HUGE threads just remain there ? on: October 17, 2017, 06:53:16 PM
Hi everyone.

I just have one single question. In each and every section of the forum you'll find threads which are already too big and have thousands of replies.
They will be with useless title such as what's is your wish regarding bitcoins and you'll find it with 2000+ replies  Sad

And of course most of them are just meaningless replies from members who are part of signature campaigns/bounties who are doing so just to get the few bucks.

Like what do you think ?  Of course anyone just wants to make money out of it and want its price to go up. Is it that hard to know  Huh

I think one of the following has to happen:

1- Lock such useless threads by the mods (I know they're already doing a good job deleting tons of shit posts that are made every minute but no one else has control).

2- Make it against the rules of the forum to accept members who post in such threads or basically say it wide and clear that you don't get any money for posts made in redundant threads.

What do you guys think ?

This is one example of what I'm saying https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1652815.0;topicseen
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are promising airdrop coins? on: October 17, 2017, 06:23:58 PM
Why do you care if they're promising or not Huh
You're already getting them for free from airdrops. This shouldn't really be an issue or a discussion.

If they get value and you can sell them for a few bucks, sell them and there you go free money.
If not, you didn't lose anything ,did you ?

60  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: eDASH project is for sale. on: October 11, 2017, 05:05:46 PM
Project sold.

Thread locked.
Thanks for the "funny" people Cheesy
