41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Days Left before Bitcoin to be more Scarce on: February 06, 2020, 05:26:02 AM
We will likely see a slight price increase in the value of bitcoin. If the production rate is slowing down then this means miners are making less money which means they might need to upgrade their equipment and thus sell off some bitcoin as a result.

It probably won't be as big of a deal as the last bitcoin halving but it will affect the scarcity in one way or another. The bitcoin halving after this upcoming one will have an even less of an effect, so hopefully, the value of bitcoin goes way up this year Grin

Established in 2013, SatoshiLabs is the maker of the TREZOR, which is one of the most trusted digital hardware wallet brands on the market for people to safely store their crypto assets.

This review completely covers the Trezor One hardware wallet including its supported cryptocurrencies, set up and usage. The chrome extension is used to connect the TREZOR to the cloud so you can view the crypto assets stored in your hardware wallet for transfer or future safekeeping.

The TREZOR is also equipped with a password manager to keep your passwords protected.

Overall, the TREZOR line of hardware wallets provides a one of a kind solution for crypto asset safekeeping including sending, receiving, buying and exchanging. The hardware is easy to set up and the software is free to download. The TREZOR is also the perfect size to store in a safe or lockbox.

43  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy large volumes btc on: February 06, 2020, 03:55:59 AM
If you are buying a large volume of btc I would go with an exchange. This way you can rest easy knowing that you are doing business with a dealer that is AML and KYC compliant, so you can avoid scams.

The exchange will usually let you transfer money using a bank wire so you can save money on fees.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best Bitcoin hardware wallets? (Merits for help) on: February 06, 2020, 01:57:57 AM
I use the Trezor One and so far I only have good things to say about it. It is a very effective way to store bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) and it has a ton of support by the community. The software is simple to install and works with the Chrome browser if you want to go online.

It also looks really cool and fits well inside of my backpack as a sleek portable device. Overall, I would recommend any of the Trezor products as a hardware wallet.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 06, 2020, 01:31:57 AM
Interesting observation...

I am glad that I am earning bitcoin every day with my favorite exchanges and forums.

I wonder what that would look like if it was expanded out to 10 years.  Grin
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 29, 2020, 03:31:22 AM
There is no one safe haven for your money. If you want to be a successful investor, diversification is important so that you can survive all economic conditions. Most billionaires have a plethora of investments in their portfolios including businesses, stocks, real estate, art, oil, precious metals, and crypto.

49  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful or LocalBitcoins? Which one is better and why? on: January 29, 2020, 03:18:37 AM
They are both pretty good imo for buying and selling bitcoin.

Paxful and LocalBitcoins are both global marketplaces for people to buy and sell bitcoin with any payment method. Paxful offers over 300+ payment methods and has a seamless escrow system for purchases, while LocalBitcoins has a wide variety of payment methods and you must interact with each seller directly on their terms.

Paxful is available for most countries while LocalBitcoins includes every country in the world. Paxful charges a minimal fee to sellers on transactions, while LocalBitcoins is free for users and charges a minimal 1% fee for advertisements.

Start a website and sell software, eCommerce, affiliate marketing, courses, email marketing, etc

Landing pages are an excellent way to drive conversions.

There is plenty of demand on the Internet. It's up to you to fill it and outsmart your competitors.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 the year of Bitcoin technology getting accepted by governments on: January 29, 2020, 03:07:04 AM
The government of Dubai is already utilizing the blockchain within their systems. Every country is different, however, blockchain technology would definitely make processes more efficient and information more transparent.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: January 26, 2020, 02:37:52 AM
Bitcoin and Gold aren't the same exact asset but they share many similarities such as scarcity, immutability and the ability to be used as money.

Neither asset is based on credit, so they are both basically inflation proof. Instead, during times of inflation both alternative assets will probably rise in value because the common person will see them as more dependable.

With the amount of retirement account choice out today, investors should know that they have the option to invest their 401ks or IRAs into a dependable Ethereum IRA for the long term.

By investing in an Ethereum IRA, you get to begin from the ground floor and back up decentralized and hyper-efficient business models. Ethereum is built on the blockchain so it has numerous benefits as a technology for financial services, decentralized apps, cloud-based services, and wealth creation.

While some people prefer to purchase bitcoin with their bank account or PayPal, many others prefer to buy it with cash. Buying bitcoin with cash offers both speed and privacy.

There are a few places you can go to buy bitcoin with cash including the following:

  • Coin ATM Radar
  • LocalBitcoins
  • Paxful
  • BitQuick
  • Wall Of Coins

If you are buying bitcoin with a debit card or bank account you might want to know what the most bitcoin-friendly banks are in general.

In reality, there are only a few banks that will let you buy bitcoin outright and they are Ally, USAA, Simple and Goldman Sachs (there may be more, so feel free to send me a PM if I missed any).

In general, you should avoid purchasing bitcoin using any of the big 4 banks i.e. Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and CitiBank.

There are more ways to buy bitcoin than most people think are possible. PayPal is the worlds most popular platform for sending and receiving money. It is also another viable method for buying bitcoin especially on sites such as:

  • XCOINS
  • Paxful
  • LocalBitcoins
  • Wirex

Buyers beware, however, that PayPal may not be the safest method for purchasing bitcoin so it is advisable that you do not make large transactions through PayPal. Instead if you are  buying a large amount of bitcoin do it on a normal exchange.

59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: January 15, 2020, 04:58:54 AM
I wouldn't buy bitcoin now. I would wait until the price is low and then buy.

As Warren Buffet says, the mark of a good investment is the quality of the business itself. In this regard the price that you buy the stock at is only important if you are overpaying. Thus, it is best to buy bitcoin when the price is low.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get Its First Price? on: January 15, 2020, 04:54:45 AM
There are only a few million bitcoin wallets in existence. It doesn't matter which country they originate from so if we can increase the number of users of bitcoin then I think the price will go up.
