Many business has been affected because of it the economy is crashing down.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opera now lets US users buy crypto with Apple Pay or debit card on: March 21, 2020, 10:57:48 AM

I guess this is one strategy of Opera to bring back their customers?

Specially that cryptocurrencies are slowly getting worldwide attention, they have to jump on the bandwagon. To be honest, I'm an Opera user for about two years now, (on/off though), but I appreciate this kind of 'improvement' in my browsing experience.
Well it is great move from them it is a huge publicity for both opera and crypto.
Now they made it much easier to buy crypto for those who wants to invest in crypto or to start on investing.
43  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers Impersonate WHO To Steal BTC Donation on: March 21, 2020, 09:24:04 AM
For sure more and more scammer would use it to scam people.
Scammer would use anything even this virus to scam people,
For me those scammer who used this kind of opportunity is soulless.
Instead of scamming people why don't they just leave and let the people who really needs the donation gets the funds.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 20, 2020, 11:55:06 AM
Seem's like we wouldn't be seeing it soon the price is now recovering so I don't think that it would go down to $3884 again.
I think it is now preparing for halving and it could continue to rise up.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 10:07:09 AM
Have you seen how governments responded to the corona virus?

Quite simply, in Italy, the US and elsewhere, they will increase their budget deficit, and add debt. In my understanding, that's very bad for fiat currencies, while BTC will remain unaffected, thanks to the lockdown on money supply.
Everything has been affected by this corona virus even the BTC.
We have seen the price of crypto drops down when corona is spreading through other country and not just crypto but also stocks.
So corona virus isn't just harmful to fiat currencies but to the economy.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 20, 2020, 08:35:42 AM
I think only weak hands have done it there is no need to panic sell at all.
We know that the crypto market always have it's ups and downs and it always go back up so why do we need to panic?
If we don't really need the cash right now then it is better to hold it on crypto instead of selling it at a low price.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 20, 2020, 07:44:30 AM
No I only limit it right now I still gamble but only a little unlike before the corona virus spread out.
It is one of my stress reliever and one of the things that I enjoy doing while I have some free time.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 20, 2020, 06:41:21 AM
I never trust those crypto analysts before and even those Telegram groups that claims to be a pro traders.
I only see them as a user they only use their influence to control the people to make them buy some crypto to pump or dump the price.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It´s not about IF but WHEN - don't panic on: March 20, 2020, 05:53:28 AM
If you have been in crypto for so long I think you should get used to it already.
The price would drop down but it would always move up again and it is true it isn't about if it is about when.
When would it bounce back again because it would surely bounce back.
50  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coronavirus scam email - do not donate bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 04:51:45 AM
I am not surprised that scammers decided to deceive people in this way.
Not really the first time that I've seen some scammer used something like this to be honest I've worst,
I have seen a scammer using some sick people's info to ask for donation,
Some calamity survivors state just to ask for donations.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready for the Halving ??? Not that Halving, the PRICE Halving of Bitcoin on: March 19, 2020, 01:36:46 PM
1.   IF BitCoin was a safe haven or " Digital Gold ",  this economic crisis is the PERFECT environment for BitCoin to go up, and even skyrocket...

2.  BitCoin price is CRASHING in its first test in a crisis, so much for the " Digital Gold " BitCoin as a safe haven narrative...    REALITY: More people are selling BitCoin than buying it in this crisis, hence the price drop.

3.  BitCoin was initially pumped up as alternative to Fiat Currency, to use for everyday Transactions...  When that false narrative of using bitcoin as money failed, they changed the narrative to BitCoin as " Digital Gold ".   Now the narrative of BitCoin as a safe haven is rapidly falling apart...  How many times do you have to be fooled before you start to figure it out ?

4.  The last 10 years of BitCoin has been an Economic Bubble and good times, where everything was going up and could not lose.  EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT NOW.   The good times of the last 10 years are OVER.   Anyone staying in the stock market, or BitCoin, or anything else that went up in good economic times is going to be in for a very hard life lesson  Cry Cry Cry

Hard Facts
How could you be so sure that it is already over?
We have seen it drop down from $20K to below $4K,
And now you are telling us that it is the end because it went down from $10K down to $5.7K?
It isn't just Bitcoin that has drop down due to this crisis so is it also game over for them?

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: March 17, 2020, 04:44:54 PM
There is no point on blaming those project isn't going to pump up no matter what we do so just move on,
After all it isn't just the investor who lost something because of those Shitcoin projects the hunters also lost their time and a chance to promote a worthy project.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 11, 2020, 10:43:51 AM
Today, I and my friend successfully held another bitcoin seminar. I remember how local the last seminar was, however, we stepped up a bit by advancing into a different and more convenient place and also, some edibles! Today, we elaborated to a new set of youths (±5) about bitcoin (and some other currencies). I still remember how surprised one of them was when he heard the price of bitcoin. However, I didn't forget to tell him that it's not about the price nor the price history of bitcoin as it has a volatile nature. I and my friend who held the seminar told them how they can earn from cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and the rest. We took enough time to elaborate. They were all very zealous and I loved that! We clearly warned them of the disadvantages of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I personally helped them sign up on the bitcointalk forum to help expand their knowledge. And also, they all have a bitcoin address. After everything, we reminded them that even though they didn't pay for the seminar (they only paid for the edibles), it wasn't the end of everything as we would follow them up. Phew! I feel relieved.

I hope I have the energy to continue doing this! For those asking who the OP is, I am the young guy wearing the bitcoin top. 😄😄
Well we couldn't really blame them for being surprise for the price of 1BTC.
To be honest I was also surprised when I first found out about it and it was only about $200-300 per BTC back then.
I hope that you would continue doing it so that more young people would be aware of it and they could start investing as early as they could for their future.
I wish that there were someone like you in my country when I was just teenager I could had saved my money and invest it on crypto rather than spending it or wasting it on silly stuffs.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: March 10, 2020, 04:33:10 AM
It is crypto market, there will always rise and drop in price. It happened repeatedly, so why people should be panic? I doubt if some people in your local group are really panic or just trying to spread FUDs. Sometimes, there are few people taking advantage of the bad moment in crypto, including the high drop in price. We must be careful and smart to analyze the situation.
Negative events and crypto drops this could really create FUD to confuse some of the crypto holders.
But you are right we need to be careful and analyze the situation in order to avoid falling into this drop and pump situation.
I don't think that the price could continue to fall deeper I think we already reach the lowest point right now.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Convert or HODL? on: March 10, 2020, 02:54:59 AM
It would all depends on you if you think that BTC would continue to fall then convert and buy back at a low price.
But if you think that it would start to go up soon then why would you even convert?
And if you couldn't decide or doesn't know what to do then I suggest to just hold your BTC instead of converting it.

59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: March 07, 2020, 01:29:51 AM
Have you ever been concerned about Bitcoin's longevity in the mainstream world as a decentralized cryptocurrency? While BTC has been going strong since 2009, there exist the possibility that it could vanish from existence sometime in the future. After all, we know that nothing lasts forever.

My guess is that once governments start circulating their own digital currencies, they will try to crackdown on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as we know them. It's no secret that the entire crypto space is largely dependent on centralized infrastructure (centralized exchanges, centralized wallet services, etc). People will not want to use something that's considered "illegal" by worldwide governments. While it'll still be possible to continue using Bitcoin regardless of government bans, regulations, etc, not many people will support it (only libertarians, geeks, anarchists, etc.). By that time, it'll be nearly impossible to get access to Bitcoin with Fiat currency or even exchange Bitcoin to Fiat (as the government crackdown will make all centralized exchanges to cease their operations).

Considering that governments want to stay in power, they'll do anything to force people to use their Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) instead of any other alternative payment system. If that happens, Bitcoin will be doomed.

Do you think that we're close for Bitcoin's End Game to happen? Will it ever happen? What are your thoughts? Huh
No I think it is too far from happening,
No I don't believe that nothing last forever did Gold ever lose value? Did Fiat lose value?
Ever since they were created they didn't lose value and up till now we are still using them.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Rate Year2020 on: March 06, 2020, 02:42:47 PM
I also hope that the price would go up to it and it would just stay there.
I am not hoping for a big increase that would just drop down after a week or a month I hope that this time when it goes up above $10K it wouldn't go back down below it ever again.
