41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do Young Investors Prefer Cryptocurrencies? on: October 08, 2021, 02:57:11 PM
1.Bigger profit margins. It's all about greed and making more money...
2.Easier access, compared to the traditional finance, but traditional finance is also getting easier access, due to apps like RobinHood.
3.Cryptocurrencies are more appealing to the tech savvy people. Most young people are tech savvy,so they like new technologies and innovation.
4.Higher risk:reward ratio...
5.Having less trust in the traditional financial institutions,like banks,hedge funds,insurance companies,etc.

Yes I agree to all the things you said. I also think that since our technology is unstoppable and digital money or transactions to fiat also takes place due to pandemic, cryptocurrencies will remain and will last long together with the technology. Because of this pandemic also, people find new ways to earn money and one option they found is through crypto more common is trading. Crypto also becomes trend due to high profile person that invest and post about it.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: October 08, 2021, 02:32:45 PM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。

I suggest tell your friend first the risk of crypto so he can be aware to what can possibly happen, good or bad, excellent or worst. In that case, your friend will be the one to decide on his/her own when to buy, to hold, and to sell. I wonder what you told your friend because I have checked the bitcoin price on the date you posted this topic vs bitcoin price now and I found out that price is lot more better. One important thing bitcoin gave me is that, the best time is always when you have chance so make the most out of it.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of an iPhone in Bitcoin at their launch over the years. on: October 08, 2021, 02:04:01 PM

credits to @CryptoManiaks FB page in regards to the image

Imagine if you've invested it in Bitcoin instead of a fad that can be replaced in just a year or even not in the course of a year because another one will be out. An iPhone 4 at that time is most likely the price of what the iPhone X's by now but look how much price depreciation it brought over time, always be good on your decision guys and gals.
Here in our country, when we hear the word "Iphone" our first expression will like "wow" because for us this thing is very expensive even before the pandemic. Now looking at this image, its very simple yet meaningful. I may not knew crypto during Iphone 4, but around Iphone 6 or 7 I think I am already earning bitcoin which makes me realize now how stupid I was by not holding as many bitcoin as I can during those times. Since bitcoin is not that expensive way back then, it is easier to earn compare today. But I am looking forward that there will be another zero or zeros after the dot (0.002)
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: October 08, 2021, 01:38:20 PM
You have no other option. I joke about the whalecumulators, but what else can we plebs do? Buy the dip, and HODL! You do not want to end up empty handed on the next cycle, https://twitter.com/misir_mahmudov/status/1118243131584065537

Always zoom out if in doubt, https://bitcoin.zorinaq.com/price/

Yes all of us does not want to become empty handed. Yes buy low, sell high. Simple but difficult especially to beginners because the time to enter and exit the market is not easy to determine. Anyway, I have checked bitcoin price yesterday and I notice that the price is good and is high. For those who bought last bitcoin last month, and still holding right now, congratulations you already gain profit. I hope bitcoin price continue to go up high until the end of this year.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be too desperate to make earning on: October 04, 2021, 03:03:40 PM
Trading cryptocurrency aren't for kid's , it's for people with matured mind. Going into cryptocurrency trading , one have to build up is mindset to be patient to trade for a long time. One of the problem that affects traders during trading is that they think so fast to make profits . Trading cryptocurrency for a very short time always is not the best as a trader .  Successful traders I have come across go into longtime investment , trading is not just acquiring cryptocurrency but trading comes from the mindset. If the mind is not on positive direction it can result to bad outcomes. And at this point now that the cryptocurrency price is low it's best time to go into longtime trading that will yield good profits in time to come.
So, do not be too hasty to make profits , short time trading don't pay much
Yes that is right. Back then I am so excited to earn money. I am thinking about becoming rich at an early age or even that I am still a student at that time. I think it is also greed because I am seeing my friend that gained a lot in trading but no. I was wrong. It was an illusion.
The thing is, after reading some articles and trading topics in here, it feels like I can already do anything. I prove myself nothing and I realized I have a lot to learn more in this trading. So I must not hurry. Emotions always brings us to incorrect decision.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan to trade is a risky task on: October 04, 2021, 02:07:54 PM
The joy in trading is when the money which is been used to trade is owned by the trader. Normally trading is something that is unpredictable, one can't really know or see the outcome if it will be a big loss, small loss or big win, small win. When money that is been used for trading is owned by the trader if there should be loss he may not too feel about the loss, unlike when the money which was been used for trading is borrowed,  in a case whereby the person do not have good source of income.

I know someone who started how to trade about four months ago. He is a beginner in trading, I don't really know how good he is, but to him he may feel he can always make earnings. I think he was so confident in himself, he had to borrow money for trading which he could not make good profit. As a beginner borrowing money to trade is not the best. It is not even advisable to use all the money one has to trade or invest talk much of to borrow to trade.
For me there is no good in borrowing money. As you have said "he may feel he can always make earnings", instead of lending him some money I'll push him to put his money instead. He may used a small amount of money but since he is confident maybe because he is knowlewgable enough so he can make the most out of his small investment. I know it is not 100% possible but it is avoiding him taking loan which I think is a good thing. Wherever side we take a look it is risky because I knew someone who have earned a lot in trading has a history of also losing in it. If someone really has no money to used, then stop. Trading is always there. Comeback if we already have money we can afford to lose.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has Bitcoin Changed your life? on: October 04, 2021, 01:18:58 PM
Just interested to hear everyone's stories are really! some of us have been on this ride years, some of us days, but I'm curious what places/people/events have occured in your life because of Bitcoin??

For me personally, my love of Bitcoin lead me to applying and getting a job at a Bitcoin Exchange in my dream role... Pretty surreal! Now because of this I get to be involved in the bitcoin community daily, as we at CoinCorner like to stay active with fellow bitcoiners whenever we can!

So yeah thats my pleb story and where it's lead me... Have any of you been lead to any life changing events because of the Bitcoin? I wanna hear them!

I was still in college when my friend who is really good at our has class changed. I become confuse so I asked him why. He said he is already earning money so getting a degree is not that important to him because he don't need a job due of what he is doing. I am becoming more interested on him so I asked him what is he doin and is it legal ? He introduce this forum to me and told me ways on how to earn through this forum. From that I start to engage myself in different crypto staffs that help me in my financial needs. I bought my very first android phone, buy clothes, eat delicious food, be able to provide some money for my family, used it to finish my thesis, etc. Yes there are tough times that feels like I want to quit crypto but I always found myself coming back to this thing.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: feel like never wanting to use crypto again on: October 03, 2021, 11:49:18 AM
I think you had a very bad experience with crypto. I feel the same way before. I leave crypto for a while then I am here again. I guess I will always turn back I just have to be careful. As I observe my friends who are new to crypto that already have bad experience is still open to it. One of them already spend money more than $150 dollars in the last two months yet no profit gained at all, while the other already lose in trading. Maybe you're too emotional the time you have posted it then after few days or weeks or month, you'll change your mind again.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: October 03, 2021, 10:25:35 AM
For me NFT games are gambling only if we put our own money in these games because we do not have any assurance that this money will grow since the thing we can earn through this game is also a crypto which price fluctuates. Yes there are already lot of people who gambled in NFTs and already get back their investment plus lots of profit.
But in my case since I am earning by being a scholar who does not used any of my own money to buy NFTs, I think it is not gambling. For me it is kinda blessing.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: October 02, 2021, 03:20:17 PM
I am not pro gambler but for me it depends upon the game you're playing. If I am playing cards tongits, I must manage my card well because it will not always be a good card ahead. My mother plays lotto loke keno and swertres, she has some analizations but failed most of the time. But for me playing lotto is more on luck because we cannot really predict it like dice results. All in all we should still enjoy when we are playing. Choosing what to play and where we think we are good at is also important.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: October 02, 2021, 03:00:57 PM
In case you are interested, you can check it out here: https://paybis.com/blog/best-money-making-apps/
I am always interested with a money making app. Well I am already familiar with some apps in your like Coinbase, Uber and Airbnb. When me and my officemate want have a staycation out of town we've search some place in airbnb. But the applications are quite different from what I have expected. I am thinking apps which you'll watch ads that it will pay you if certain number of ads were watched already, another are gambling games like dice, etc but I have no luck with it so it does not become useful to me at all.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past three months bitcoin journey on: October 01, 2021, 02:29:13 PM
<snip>
Wow that great. It is somehow inspiring to me. It also reminds me of my friend who is a long time bitcoin holder. Her story is quite different but the same about you and her is that you both believe in bitcoin.
It seems easy but something tells me that it is not how easy as I think because bitcoin price is fluctuating and there are times that it continuously dump. But like I said if you believe in bitcoin, if you have patience, if you knew what this coin can gave us and how worthy this coin is, success really awaits you.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Future economic fear of the rich and poor. on: October 01, 2021, 01:36:20 PM
I think that both have the same degree of fear, it's just that they've come from a different social strata so we see them a bit different but I think they're practically the same but in a different situation.
Yes I think that is true because if you were rich, you don't want to become poor because the things that you used to do, things you used to buy, the ease of life will never be the same again. On the other hand, as poor you want to become rich to ease the burden of life, to buy whatever you want and have your dream life. But whatever our status is, to be able overcome the fear as early now I think we need to take actions. Save money, buy asset (big or small) because after all prevention is better than cure.
55  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: October 01, 2021, 01:16:22 PM
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency is best for long term investment? on: September 29, 2021, 02:37:54 PM
1. Bitcoin (BTC) Bitcoin has been around for the longest of any cryptocurrency.
2. Ethereum (ETH) Ethereum is different from Bitcoin because it isn't only a cryptocurrency.
3. Binance Coin
4. Cardano
5. Polkadot (DOT)
6. Ripple (XRP)
7. Litecoin
8. Tron (TRX)
9. Polygon (MATIC)
10. WazirX (WRX)
Based from the experience on my friend, first is bitcoin then next is ethereum. I say he has a lot of patience because she managed to hold her earning (bitcoin) last 2017 or 2018 up to now then hold she sold some eth last year and still on her wallet right now. Although she hold small bitcoin and sold small amount of eth, it is still a good investment. She holds because her reason is she can't buy or own bitcoin once more if she sold it already. She also believes that bitcoin will grow more so she will earn more.
57  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie infinity popularity on: September 29, 2021, 01:39:43 PM

58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: September 29, 2021, 07:35:31 AM
I was just reading a report about BTC , A USA family sell all there assets and with that amount they invest in Bitcoin in 2019. as in 2021 BTC was on its peak ! So they get huge profit.

But as a dump then came in crypto market, for every investor it was really a great shock.

What you people say about this topic ?
Should we invest just like them or should start with a less amount ?

as Bitcoin came down in past months . it can be a great loss for those who invest madly !

Must drop your suggestion !

At my early days in crypto, I can say that investing in crypto is beneficial. I invest only time and effort in different bounties then I got paid after the campaign. So without putting any of my money, I make real money. But it last since there are of scam projects I encountered that does not pay me or give me shit coins. I have decided to leave crypto but I find myself coming back that is why I am here and I am now more careful. It is not beneficial as before but it is still better than just browsing in Facebook or watching YouTube.

I think we should invest only what we can afford to lose because investing in crypto is very risky so everything that we invested can disappear all at once in any wrong move. Even when we cry all night and day, we can't take it back or undo it. Maybe the USA Family is rich enough? I am not sure. The bigger the possible income is, the bigger what we can lose also.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: September 29, 2021, 03:54:03 AM
Yes sure, it’s good to have a knowledge and understanding of how finance works. Even if you don’t want to go further into it, just by learning the basics will put you in a good position of knowing the right things to do in any kind of situation.

When the Coronavirus started I knew at first what to do, in terms of cryptocurrency I had to sell all my coins and some other assets I was holding. And when prices deeper, I let my friends know that we should buy because that was the right time, but they doubted it, because they have no understand on how it works, despite how hard I tried to explain, and at the end they are the ones regretting it.

The knowledge I had was how I was able to tell that what I am doing was right.
I agree that what we only need is the basic or the principle and everything will goes along with it then your experience will make this principle grow so you become successful on handling your financial matters.
Unlike you, I have nothing to sell when the pandemic strikes last year here in the country. But knowing that the economy went down, I decided to invest in the stock market and some in crypto. After a year when I get along with my friends who are also knowledgeable enough in handling their financial matters very well, our topic went to investment and they also did the same thing. I know I have a lot experience more.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: September 29, 2021, 03:05:38 AM
we certainly hear a lot of people whose their lives change 180% because of Bitcoin

based on https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/venezuelans-turn-to-bitcoin-and-online-gaming-to-survive/

when government policies make them miserable, they find ways to survive.

Do you agree with Bitcoin is one of the saviors and are there any of us who have saved their economic lives since focusing on Bitcoin?

Honestly, I'm one of the people whose economic needs have survived because of Bitcoin  Grin

Same here. I have survived the beginning of this pandemic through the help of bitcoin. When the government declares ECQ for the first time last year on March 2020, my company did not allow me to work from home because they think it will only last for 2 weeks so I have no salary. My only source of income was the signature campaign that pays us weekly with bitcoin. With this I be able to survive one and a half months of ECQ until our company told me that I they give us help and will sent me to work everyday through shuttle. My parents has no capability of sending me money due to they also struggle the difficulty of surviving in the province and all money transfers were are not operating.
