Big farms can not compete with small miners, as small miners can afford to mine at a loss just to support the network. At the end of the year or early next year it will be pretty hard to be profitable even for the big farms if the difficulty keeps increasing. But many small miners can just keep running their one unit

if anyone has any insight as to the key elements of dogecoin's success A lot of money put to pump the coin. Obviously you cannot known how much money the developer(s) have for this stage, some altcoins just hope normal people buy the coins, thats why not big growth |

In brazil, we have notary's office that authenticates documents...
if i authenticate my driver license and send to mtgox, will resolve the problem ?

In my opinion is same like big companies ,there are those big one like apple and samsung ans small one like alview ,put at a point if people invest in the small ones ,they can get big like huawei did . At one point people will lose intrest in bitcoin and move to and other currency. Cryptocurrencies are not stocks, you dont invest buying coins so the Cryptocurrencies can use more money for growing business, you buy the coin if you see some value in the coin so you can use it (spend, sell) |

My gut is, China is f*cking with everyone and purposely driving the price down so that day-traders and speculators get out, so that they can turn around and scoop up BTC for ridiculous low amounts and then drive the price back up.

It's a hard one, at what point do we think it will stop and buy? buy now at 500 and tomorrow they are 200? lol
No one knows bottom, but if you dont slowly buy as the price falls, you have to buy much higher after you realize bottom was one day ago and now rising up |

1. when come slightly negative news, spread the FUD
2. dump some coins to start panic sell
3. rebuy back when price is low
4. You just increased your BTC stack
5. repeat
It is amazing to me how much the buying and selling of Bitcoin mirrors that of people buying and selling penny stocks. There will always be those who want to create a panic and then buy cheap when the price is low. People are emotional so this easy strategy should work everywhere |

Why DogeCoin could be a big hit:
-Because there will be more than 100billion coin, and people often more like to see a currency with nearl 1$ = 0.01 or 0.1 or 1 than 1$ = 1000 rate like bitcoin etc...
Useless feature. You can use mBTC instead for price 0.75 USD / mBTC Bitcoin smallest unit is Satoshi, talking about Bitcoin coins is misleading because physical coin is not divisible but Bitcoin is to 8 decimal places |

Not overtake Bitcoin, but altcoins can be used to mine with my CPU and GPU profitably. So definitively altcoins will be usefull

However I was taught in school that if there is a decimal it means the value after that would be in cents.
So, I would always write 1 million as 1,000,000
All what should be teach at school is use brain. Seriously, anything that make sence works, like 1 000 000 School not teach brain, teach only US, is not know about outside world, savages, using decimals wrong! As long as school teach be proud of your flag and pay taxes, it works I guess |

Bitstamp, reliable, high volume Coinbsse seems best at the moment
If you mean Coinbase it is not exchange, you cant daytrade there |
