There is no way to prevent an agressive miner to mine the coin. Unless switching the current POW consensus. The easiest way to counter big miners is to grow the network.
Work is being done currently to activate Segwit and release both mobile wallets. So we can move forward.
If you are a developer and want to help the project, you can load a big bag at 300 sats and involve yourself.
Exemple of things that could be worked on right now :
- Payment plugins apps for popular websites such as Wordpress, Prestashop, Woo commerce.
- Platform to crowdfund projects and ideas from the community
- Sales manager for upcoming Blockchain events in France
- The Journal WP have been hacked. That kind of issues takes time to diagnose. It's been months since it's broken and had no ttime to fix it.
Keep in mind that FRN have been 100% self-funded, we didn't launched via ICO. It is an open-source project created by passionate people. We have our own life and sometimes our hassles as well. We may not have accomplished much over the last months but at least I can tell you that all the current websites and services will remain functional. No dead project neither any exit scam of any sort...
This is all understandable. You need a developer. But do not show up at the "gathering of hats" when cryptocurrencies are already grown. You must commit more time into your project. I get that people have lives, but come on, a month to respond on a forum? Which only takes like 10 minutes or less to do. |

This is a great project. Just sad to see that it is rather quiet lately. You have so much already developed. Seems like the wallet can use some speed in generating the address. Likewise, hopefully the android and iOS wallets can come out soon. Then we can launch the campaign and send the advertisements throughout France. Then the price will skyrocket and the team can sell a few coins to continue funding the project and the further advertising shipment labels. I hope you all are doing great. Hey guys, FRN is still being developed, at this moment we have our dev called Zeiger which is working on both Segwit and Android beta version of LTC's loafwallet. On my side I am supposed to review the iOS app, submit to the store and start the promo campaign asap. I was too busy during the summer and had to focus on other priorities. As you know FRN wasn't launched via ICO, it is completely self funded. All the money we got from the community was ~200€ (thanks proletariat). Which is actually just the price of the stamps for sending the ~180 starter packs. Things are going better right now but still can't reasonably focus all my time on FRN. If I were a Bitcoin millionaire I would surely make huge investments in FRN and make this thing take off. Unfortunately I'm not (not now  ) Help from the community would be greatly appreciated to speed things up and move forward. If anybody have some experience with ios app development, please PM me. No big deal, the testings have been done and it is essentially about refining the design. Everything have to be perfect. If not, things will come step by step. Sorry to make you waiting. It's not super comfortable to make updates when there's no real updates as it will disappoint everybody. Anyway you can be confident, the project will not be left away. We have already put too much work in this to let it go just like this. Thank you for your support. Looking forward to much more good news! The website is very nice. It is possible, perhaps, if the coin really takes off, that 1% of the French economy will be on the Francs blockchain, if the coin pushes strong and makes innovations, which is 126,209 times still. So per every dollar, you could potentially get 126k in return (If the team pushes strong and the coin is largely accepted in France). Now, Francs is also not just solely secluded to the French people to invest into the coin, but the blockchain is open for anyone around the world to invest. So potentially, people from the USA, Germany, Japan, and other countries can also invest, if Francs are going strong. So it could very well be even more than 126,209 times in return (Which is 1% of France's economic market capital). France is the 7th largest economy in the world, and if the other economies would also contribute to this project, then it could do very well. The team has a great website, they have some updates coming up, and also, the advertising campaign will be launched once the wallets are completed.... which is taking quite a while, but I guess these things do not just get developed over a few days. The market capital for this coin is extremely small right now, and the more that cryptocurrencies gain traction, the more that Francs will also continue to climb. Likewise, if the team continues to innovate and push strong with advertising Francs, then the market capital has major potential in climbing much higher than it is now. I feel this coin is way undervalued, most likely because not much has happened with it lately, and because people do not quite know about it yet. People are currently testing the APP, as it is under beta testing. Some people appear to have not received an invitation, while the public product is said to be released sometime this month. A new website will also be launched. Some of the beta testers were selected based on social media presence and other variables. I think people are just impatient. This project seems to be interesting and I will invest after this pump for sure. We need some more updates from team about development and ap releases. There is not much to find about Lomocoin. Maybe some social media campaign bounty to get more eyeballs on this coin.

Hey, just a few suggestions for the upcoming app launch. You should program higher populated areas to have significantly more GeoCoins spawning, than areas that are not as populated.

Francs should consider doing some partnerships with platforms such as UBIX in the future, once the apps are all released and the advertising campaign has begun. You want to be a great coin, but also have a great software base behind the business model. This project is going to go big one day. I am patient until that time. |

I really like this project. But the music in your youtubes will alienate anyone over 25. You have enough challenges, don't shoot yourself in the foot. Would be cool if there was adventurous music, and that it would change based on the environment you are in. Kind of like Ultima Online. I agree. You gotta make the music more user friendly. They can integrate HTML5 audioplayer and everyone will be able to choose their own music for little payment(1 GeoCoin per week), lol Haha you guys don't like my high energy music!? I just wanted people to get pumped up and excited about GEO! Maybe a future custom audio player is in order afterall I'm also over 25 Would be cool if there was adventurous music, and that it would change based on the environment you are in.
