401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DeepOnion TOR Integrated, No ICO/Crowdfund, Free Airdrop on: July 16, 2017, 01:49:17 PM
hahahaha keep the memes coming, well all know the power of the memes will make a coin become very popular Smiley  We also need to integration/publicity with dark web markets, or just rumors would do.
I have just mentioned DeepOnion over at 4chan /biz/ - hopefully that will bring the coin to the attention of a few squirrels situated deeper in the forest. The thread over there will 404 eventually, but if you want to check it out and add your own comments to it, do so while you can here: http://boards.4chan.org/biz/thread/2797920/deeponion-tor-integrated-no-icocrowdfund-free
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DeepOnion TOR Integrated, No ICO/Crowdfund, Free Airdrop on: July 16, 2017, 12:27:49 PM
Well it seems I have managed to successfully download the wallet, adjust my bitcointalk signature appropriately and join deeponion.org.
Now all I have to do is say something meaningful every day or so to qualify for the first airdrop.
Let me think, something meaningful... umm ... well ...
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALERT***A new SCAM COINDASH from the scammers of GETGEMZ scam project!!!!!! on: July 16, 2017, 07:44:29 AM
I don't think the dev in question is doing himself or coindash any favors by deploying the "I was just following orders" defense.

People, I imagine, are looking for some indication of his personal sympathy for those who invested in GETGEMZ and were burnt - and a solid explanation from coindash as to how they intend to manage their intellectual property, existing or otherwise.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 16, 2017, 06:50:03 AM
Participants
4078

Total Investment
5,065,029.93 $

Not bad!
It's very good - a balanced, non-FOMO investment total that is commensurate with the current state of the project.
Now for the Team to deliver...
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CONCOIN - The most dangerous cryptocurrency in the world™ on: July 16, 2017, 05:43:44 AM
Is 'stealing' Concoin considered theft I wonder?

409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 15, 2017, 12:32:29 PM
Received second payment from facebook bounty .
I just received 8571 DIMCOIN for six days , I think this incorrect because I following this full . Could you explain to me why ?
Hey FakYUsir07, I think your question may be a little confusing.
Did you promote the DIMCOIN ICO on Facebook for 6 days?
Do you think you received too many DIMCOIN for your work? Or not enough DIMCOIN?
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 15, 2017, 07:25:06 AM
Looks like I am going to miss this ICO as Simplex inexplicably decided that my use of their CC processing facility required my further identifying myself to them.*sigh*

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT | CPU mining | scrypt² | Scaling | New Roadmap Released on: July 15, 2017, 04:45:16 AM
Mining through the Verium Vault App, how long does it currently take to hit a block? I have been mining 5 days straight with an i7-4790 (1000-1200 H/m) and nothing… The estimated block hit within hrs keep on changing between 450-900. I tried pool mining, but nothing. I get that the hashrate is climbing, but currently it is meaningless to mine as I have it.

From what i've read, if you are only doing 1000 -1200 H/m, you are better off using a pool.

thank you,

-D

Yes, I am mining steadily between the pools now, vrm.poolinat0r.com and vrm2.poolinat0r.com. Once my miner experiences this,

Stratum connection timeout
Stratum connection interrupted
stratum_recv_line failed

My share rate drops dramatically, then I need to restart the miner. Now and then there will be downtime and must switch pools.

I'm hitting a lot of these errors, so many so that in effect I cannot leave my PC unattended to mine (due to the need to restart infrequently).

I can't code but I have been researching whether it is possible to create a batch file that will run the cpu-miner .bat, close the mining cmd interface (i.e. kill the task) at a set interval,  and then (re)call the cpuminer .bat.

Does anyone have any insight into doing something like this?

From what I have read it would seem PowerShell may be the best means to achieve this?
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DeepOnion TOR Integrated, No ICO/Crowdfund, Free Airdrop on: July 14, 2017, 12:27:50 PM
I've read carefully the 1st post and now I have a question.
1) I just need to wear a signature to participate?
2) If I set the signature today, will I participate in 1st airdrop?
1 Yes
2 No because you need to be jr member if you can reach jr member level today tomorrow  in few days then it can be yes we will accept application during 40 weeks
We will be generous and accept people until last date for the first round but the second one we will enforce rule (90% percent hold beside daily signature checks) if userid fails,  will be excluded from following rounds. Those who hold from beginning to the end will be extra rewarded by Founding Member badge at planned ONION Vote central for the future of steps of ONION coin.

Faucet Bounty added to the OP with ACTIVE status

Thank you for this clarification.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NYC] NEW YORK COIN at 2017 MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE IN NYC! on: July 14, 2017, 10:39:37 AM
I've been to New York. I may, or may not, have declared "I love New York [Coin]" while I was there. Further: I may well have been at, inside or within close proximity to Macy's when I made that declaration.

Given that the utterance of said declaration, assuming it was correctly uttered - if at all - may, (or may not), have occurred some 5 years ago, I am inclined to offer that I would rather settle for 10,000 'I Love New York Coin' delivered 72 hours from the moment I have communicated this offer to you via this very post, as may be determined by the 'Date/Time Stamp' associated with the same post, on the proviso that you develop and release a functioning 'I Love New York Coin' token, (ERC20 Token Standard preferred), and functioning 'I Love New York Coin' Wallet, within 24 hours of the first instance of your reading this reply. Should that first instance occur any time after that 72 hours my offer will, of course, have expired.

With regard the aforementioned 24 hours, and assuming you have read it within the critical 72 hour 'window', I can perhaps make some further time allowance for the actual digestion, (and indeed, comprehension), of this post, your first reading aside, however you would need to communicate your need for that further allowance to me, (within thread and with some haste as it is not long before I retire for the night).

Oh - along with an estimate of the amount of extra time you deem would be necessary if you don't mind.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT | CPU mining | scrypt² | Scaling | New Roadmap Released on: July 14, 2017, 09:19:55 AM
winnway this is a very good result, what processors have this computer? I am waiting for 4 days on the block, and I have not extracted any.

Due to the large power of mining networks on the pool gives really bad effects   Huh Huh Undecided

I have an older i75960 on my main computer, and the others are at my house but nothing worth talking about. On the 5960 I've hit 4 blocks but none in the past 2 days (on any computer). On each of the other 2 I've hit 1 and 2 each. Took 4 days on one and 3 and 6 (I think) on the other. Hash rates on the crappy ones are showing 450-750.

Don't know how you are managing to hit any blocks on a single CPU at those hash rates. I haven't hit a block since 06/19 running 24/7 @~1100H/m. Was averaging a block every 5 days. Difficulty has admittedly increased in the interim, but I am quite sure I am now running well under the hash/reward rate even so.

I don't know either, but I was. Last block I hit on that machine was roughly 1 week ago. It's just luck.....I'm in a pool permanently now with all machines routing to it. Not sure what to tell you.

Thanks for the reply ww . I have been on the vrm2pool - for 5 days I think - and have accrued ~1.1 VRM over that period. It looks like it's going to be 45 days or so before I can accrue the minimum 10VRM before withdrawal. I'll have to do do some serious cost-benefit analysis methinks - it may be more efficient for me to just buy VRM on exchange for now.

http://vrm2.poolinat0r.com/
is up and running for smaller hash miners
How do I set max threads (cores)? I understand it is associated with the -t value, just not sure of the parameters of that value.

You can use the "-t X", simply change X with the number of threads you want to use. Let's say you have 8 threads in total, but only want to use 5. Start the miner and add "-t 5" without the " to your miner startup file.

I have setup a new stratum for xu4s and have implemented some stratum changes i was working on in the early pool days. So far a few xu4s are mining there and the feedback was good only so far. If you have some xu4s and want to mine/test the new stratum (its connected to vrm2.poolinat0r.com) please PM me here or send me a message on the slack, i will give you the available ports then.
There are 3 ports for xu4s: two have fixed difficulty and one has vardiff, i think in most cases vardiff should be the best to point your xu4s to, as the vardiff is supporting a little bit lower difficulaty than fixed xu4 port.

Thanks for the info testbug - all seems to be going well. I have allocated 7 of 8 threads to the mining task. 1 thread seems to be sufficient for general internet humbug.

Why the presale is not public ?
What are the differences between the presale and the ICO ?

The presale is limited to 16million tokens, and happens before the main token sale. The presale is also public, you can email info@pillarproject.io if you are interested.

Aside providing an early opportunity to secure tokens, what advantages does buying tokens presale offer? For example, is there a better ETH>Token exchange rate for presale token purchases?

Please help an absolute beginner purchase DIMCOIN.

I clicked invest on the dimcoin website entered the amounts and agreed to pay by ETH.

I was emailed an address to send the ETH to within 2 hours - can I send this directly from coinbase/an ETH wallet like metamask?

I have a depotwallet account but cannot send funds there/buy anything from the website.

If I can send from a random ETH wallet - how do I receive my COINS/TOKENS as they haven't asked me for my wallet details?

Thanks in advance.

We send the COINS/TOKENS to the address that you sent the funds from

Can you confirm that you will send tokens to MEW (MyEtherWallet) and that MEW will recognize those tokens and accept them?

Apologies for any confusion, Ether does NOT work on NEM wallets

No trouble, I think I may have jumped into the wrong discussion to ask my question.

What I mean to ask is whether MEW should be used to buy DIM tokens during the ICO?

The reason I ask is that I am personally aware of 3 people that have used MEW to pay for DIM tokens (via www.coinpayments.net who is handling these transactions for dimcoin.io) and I am sure there will be many more that do so during the ICO. How will these people get there DIM token?

I have made a small investment myself via Nanowallet which I presume is okay?
