405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your recommendations for 150$ ? on: December 19, 2017, 02:54:03 PM
Dears,

I want to invest 150$ in cryptocurrencies, my idea is to divide it to three part :

50$ (long invest in IOTA)
50$ (short invest Bitcoin)
50$ (short invest Monero)

What are your recommendations?

150$ is very small amount dude. It will not help you to make real profit, especially in short term. But diversifying your budget into many coins is a good decision and it will minimize your risk. Consider buying Ethereum as well because its price keep rising.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: December 16, 2017, 05:29:05 PM
Investing in crypto currencies nowadays is preferable because it is one of the most profitable ways of investment, especially if you invest in the most powerful and promising coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you have an additional budget to invest, you can choose some good ICO projects as well.

The actual BTC price is above 18600$ and it is expected to keep rising, so this milestone is already done this year, before the end of 2017. Maybe even it will reach the $20k before the Christmas. We just need to hold and watch the price going up.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to banks? on: December 16, 2017, 05:24:19 PM
Actually the crypto currencies aren't really affecting the banking systems and banks around the world, because still the majority of people worldwide use their services and also deal with fiat currencies. Banks also are supported by governments a lot more than crypto currencies.
409  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is surfing bitcoin from faucets still profitable? on: December 16, 2017, 05:19:10 PM
No it is not profitable anymore actually. Most Bitcoin's faucets give very small reward nowadays because the price increased highly since few months ago. You have to work for several weeks to reach 0.001 btc or even less than this little amount.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH, LTC, DASH, XRP -why all so high on: December 14, 2017, 11:50:30 AM
Because actually there is a big demand from big and new coming investors for such altcoins, as they can't or don't like to invest in BTC with its high actual price. So they preferred to buy this altcoins and this way they helped to get the prices increasing.

So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

It is up to you, if you have urgent need for money actually you can cash it out and enjoy this amount, if not then hold it for long term because the price is expected to increase highly in the few next months and years. But you have to learn more about Bitcoin before holding because its price still volatile.

Signature campaigns usually pay you for your activity in this forum and especially posting relevant and constructive posts weekly, they are paying in BTC and in tokens nowadays. Bounty campaigns is more genral because it include signature campaigns usually but also paying you for advertising in your social media accounts, or for translations, they pay only in altcoins or tokens.

Nowadays most sites which pay in Bitcoin and most faucets decreased their rewards because the price increased highly. So actually it is harder to increase your BTC unless you work for several hours online daily and in many ways, like trading, bounty and signature campaigns..
