something i am interested to know is if people on here are likely to bet more or less when btc is on bull run like now???

Interesting question Smiley I think people tend to bet less (with BTC) during a bull run, because they are even more cautious to not give them away, although they will lose the same amount fiat-wise by adjusting their stakes. It's a psychological thing and the more value something has, the more likely you are trying to protect it at all costs and not taking unnecessary risks. Even when you know you will come out on top longterm by investing this asset in valuable spots Wink

I watched this game and I was surprised they did not use Winston at all, Hill had a decent game, no interceptions, 2 rush TDs and one fumble, but I wonder what this means? There are many rumours that state Brees is going to retire at the end of this season, does coach Payton want to see what he has on Hill so he knows if he will be his starting QB next season or if he needs to draft a QB? Or is Winston so bad that Hill simply got the job over him?

Payton said he wants to see what he has in Hill. As you said he had a decent game, but this Falcons team was no benchmark today, so he would be wise to not draw too many conclusions out of todays performance (and he won't, since he is wise^^). Saints would have lost to a lot of teams today imo, but ATL was pretty toothless and Saints D had a good game. They will play @Broncos next week and this will be a different game for Hill. He won't get away with a lot of things he got away with today.

I personally don't see Hill being a starting QB in NFL, but you never know, he might grow into this challenge. I really liked the duo of Brees/Hill, was fun to watch, and would like the Saints to keep it this way - with another QB, whose name will not be Winston imo. He is only 26, but was never that good to begin with and it's rare to see a QB coming out of mediocrity just like that. If he is able to otoh, Payton did a good job then Wink

If the above is actually the final leaderboard and I made no mistake, then the Top4 come from this thread Shocked

So, gratz @mitchr4, this is huge money with the current Bitcoin price and you don't have to share the prize money with anyone Smiley

Really sorry for you @morvillz7z Tongue If Alaves held on, you would have shared the prize with @Indymoney, if I am not mistaken, which would have been very nice for you both. Being at the top and then having a home team giving away a 2-0 lead is so ultra annoying Roll Eyes

100 fame points on top for you @mitchr4:

With the sample size getting bigger for the late joiners to our MM thread, we now have @Indymoney with a super strong average of 9.3 correct picks, followed by mitchr4 with 8.0. But I guess you will sooner or later come down to the average of us normal people and land somewhere in the 6.5 to 7.5 range. But maybe you both are really that good, chapeau then Grin

That draw in Arsenal game was big for you I guess @morvillz7z. I would think you are the sole leader now with 3 games to go. @michtr4 had the draw as well and can still hope, I am out Tongue Top of the leaderboard will have gotten more thinned out now and you might have morvillz7z with 10 and then maybe only 3-4 guys with 9 in the hunt.

I still see no way either of you will win Wink

The best way to shift focus in this case is to advertise Exbet throughout this forum in various ways like signature campaigns, bounty campaigns, contests etc.

(...) They need to put in the effort like other crypto gambling sites in order to reap the rewards.

Doesn't work imo Smiley

You can judge by quite some statements in the past that lots of users have no idea what Exbet is and how it works. And this is kind of expected, since a) you don't have a lot users in here, that do place bets, although they are often writing in gambling section (we know the reason for this) and b) the minority who actually does, are actually low-rollers (no offense) and just like to have some fun with an easy UI - placing bets in a traditional way/bookmaker and c) Casino-gambling is still bigger here and in general, so it's way easier for sites like SB/FJ/Betnomi etc. to get things rolling via the tools you mentioned.

I think the people who should know about Exbet in this forum already do know and you won't (are not able to) attract many more through promotions in here to make it worth what this all costs. This being said, I have no better idea as well than just to wait for organic growth, which will come from outside this forum then imo. And hopefully it will bring inplay liquidity Wink

Immediately I like Miami at +1 vs. Denver, might get in on that.

Did you play that in early markets already ? Because it's -3.5 now, which looks about right, but +1 is nice value.

Taking my chances on Atlanta ML today, which is mainly based on what I saw from Winston last week and I was shocked how bad (maybe rusty) he looked. Sean Payton saw this as well, so Hill will be the starter today. I love this guy and all the things he can do, but he is most valuable as the role player he used to be imo. So my guess is, that we will see some good portion of Winston as well. In general the Saints aren't that strong this season, which is also because of Brees getting old. They are doing fine record-wise being 7-2, but there were some games which saw them struggling a lot against mediocre opposition. Falcons have found their rhythm lately and the defense has improved a lot. I think this will be a close one and with a couple of INT's from Winston, I like the odds for the Falcons.

-

If Bridgewater is out, then I don't see how Carolina will be able to beat the Lions with Grier/Walker while still being CMC-less. Stafford has some thumb injury as well, but he will start. Around 1.80 for Lions atm.

Chargers and Vikings should have no problems in getting the better of Jets/Cowboys, but odds are low.

GB@IND should be a good one, where I see a lot of points being scored, but the line is high. And my bold pick would be the Jags to beat the Steelers, lol.

Anyone else got the feeling Mainz will get their first win on Sunday?

I got this feeling for a longer time already Grin But I think it will happen in a home game, so maybe against Hoffenheim next weekend. That being said, X2 for Mainz @1.90 is still a good bet, looks very draw-ish game and Freiburg at around 2.00 is too low.

Odds for Freiburg have dropped further and you can get Mainz X2 for above 2 now, which looks a solid bet, which I have placed now. Will maybe add to my stake, if Freiburg takes the lead.

Would also like to bet on Cologne, but I never can seem to get Union's games right, so better stay away.

For GER2 I don't like the 1X2 odds today, so just parlayed all games to go over 2.5 and will look for some opportunities inplay.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 22, 2020, 12:29:39 AM
Something brewing in here Smiley

After weeks of rather mediocre results @morvillz7z is co-leader with 8 correct picks and we are already way past half-time with 10/15 games already played. I won't say anymore, to not jinx things, just this anti-jinx: You will never ever win this weeks MM edition Cool

mitchr4* and myself are still in the hunt with 5 other guys with 7 correct ones so far.

*the table I posted yesterday had Chelsea win for you, but actually you had the draw, my bad

AS Monaco FC - Paris Saint-Germain FC
Newcastle United FC - Chelsea FC
Schalke 04 - VfL Wolfsburg
Queens Park Rangers - Watford FC (Draw)
Villarreal CF - Real Madrid
Tottenham Hotspur FC - Manchester City FC
Eintracht Frankfurt - RB Leipzig
Hertha BSC - Borussia Dortmund
Manchester United FC - West Bromwich Albion
Atletico Madrid - FC Barcelona (Draw)
Inter Milano - Torino FC
Leeds United - Arsenal FC
Liverpool FC - Leicester City FC
Villarreal CF - Real Madrid
SSC Napoli - AC Milan
Deportivo Alaves - Valencia CF

ralle14 with some foul play here, trying to submit 16 picks to increase his chances Grin And I was doubting my ability to put 15 picks into my table....until I noticed you put the Real game twice^^ And with different results Grin
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 21, 2020, 06:37:02 PM
Everyone thought it would be a very easy win for Bayern Munich.

Not bragging, but I at least saw some value there, without betting on Bremen Grin

Bayern looks a bit short against Bremen, but even if there is some value, it's hard to imagine Bremen getting a point or more here. The last time they did was a decade ago Roll Eyes

Rest of my picks/thoughts were bad though; Hoffenheim got the late equalizer, Schalke lost again and Braunschweig had a nightmare game as well. Not a good round until now. And Schalke really is utterly poor. I always have a hard time imagining such a big club going down to 2. Bundesliga, but there really is few hope with the way they are playing. Looks like we will see another headcoach soon....any guesses ? Udo Lattek is dead already Tongue

Now Frankfurt is leading Leipzig at HT, this might be the next upset. Could be a good round for Dortmund, if they deliver at Berlin later.

You can add these, if you like.

The Cycling Thread
Football in China - The Chinese Super League
[Betting & Discussion] Chinese Basketball Association - Rest of 2019/2020 Season

The chinese ones are not very active rn and it's often times only me posting, but there is hope Grin Although it says "team sports + tennis" and you might not consider Cycling as such, it is actually a team sport, albeit every athlete having to ride his bike on his own^^

If possible I would sort the table a bit by sports/leagues to have it more tidy and easier to find the threads you are looking for/interested in.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 21, 2020, 11:03:47 AM
I am not very inspired (by the odds) today. Bayern looks a bit short against Bremen, but even if there is some value, it's hard to imagine Bremen getting a point or more here. The last time they did was a decade ago Roll Eyes

I would have priced Hoffenheim a bit lower, maybe around 2, since Stuttgart is due for a loss imo. Hoffenheim has/had these Covid issues, but their expected line-up still looks fine and as long as Kramaric plays, all good^^

And as always I don't think Schalke will lose today. But they will not win as well Cheesy 0-0 or 1-1 is my call.

In GER2 I played Braunschweig AH0 @2.57 (Pinnacle), because Karlsruhe being solid favourite is just wrong. Braunschweig has some Covid issues as well, but the market is overreacting here. The team from Lower Saxony is traditionally a very solid home side and are 3-1-0 this season. Karlsruhe in general are poor travellers and they are no world beaters. Last season they managed 3 away wins and they are not any better this year than they were last year. Could very well be a draw (1-1), but I will get my money back then.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 20, 2020, 07:56:30 PM
These are the entries so far:

Consensus only found for Inter to win, with some others having a strong tendency, like Paris, Chelsea, Dortmund, ManU. Only rdbase has the draw in Tottenham game, which is quite surprising, since it's a very likely result imo, but the other 14 users picked home/away win 50/50.

Other notable observations:

7 draws picked for QPR-Watford and Leeds-Arsenal.
Villareal game seems very open with 5-5-5 (Alaves as well with 5-6-4).
People picked more away wins than home wins, which is rare.
Again there are no two exact same entries and as always not all results are covered - 5 are missing.

Good luck guys Cool

Can you confirm how much $ is worth a unit in your bets?

I think this really doesn't matter. For one person one unit is $1, for the next $10, for some it is $100 then Smiley By working with units, you can get a better comparison than with just working with fiat values.

Can you add and suggest bet sizes too on each bet you will place?

He did suggest 5/10, which is a medium sized bet then normally Wink

Cardinals look to be the obvious and also public choice, which is always a red flag in NFL Grin Looks like SEA finally runs a bit out of gas and are not able to compensate anymore for their weak defense. They have lost 3 of the last 4 and if you look at the H2H, ARZ has been very successful at CenturyLink Field in the last seasons, which comes as a surprise:

Source: https://www.flashscore.com/match/xMaXOsKu/#h2h/home

All these things considered, these odds for Arizona look huge and they should maybe even be favourite in this one. It's not easy to win at Seattle and they have clean home record this season thus far, but without spectators their stadium is not such a fortress as it used to be. I would never bet on SEA at these odds, but Arizona looks too easy on paper as well. No bet is probably the wisest choice Smiley
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 18, 2020, 07:00:34 PM
This Wunderkind will be eligible to play for Dortmund from next round on now; he will turn 16 on Friday. I checked the odds, because I was fancying a bet on him to score, but well....not very interesting Grin Found him around 2.40-ish to score anytime, but this is very low imo. I can't imagine Favre putting him in the starting line-up - Dortmund was/is always very cautious with him, he is f.e. not allowed to speak to the media. So making him a starter right away is not what I would expect, he will maybe get subbed in, but even of that I am not sure (depends on the score a bit as well). With these odds, I would now even like to place a bet against him to score, but didn't find any market for it Tongue

Whatever will happen, it will be exciting to follow his development in the next years and he will be the youngest player to ever see the pitch in Bundesliga. Maybe not next Saturday already, but in the next weeks for sure then Wink

Here is what I worked out Roll Eyes

AS Monaco - Paris Saint-Germain
Newcastle United - Chelsea
FC Schalke 04 - VfL Wolfsburg
Queens Park Rangers - Watford DRAW
Villarreal - Real Madrid DRAW
Tottenham - Manchester City
Eintracht Frankfurt - RB Leipzig
Hertha BSC - Borussia Dortmund
Manchester United - West Bromwich Albion
Atlético Madrid - Barcelona
Inter - Torino
Leeds United - Arsenal
Liverpool - Leicester City
Napoli - Milan
Deportivo Alavés - Valencia

And the public sheet for this week: Multimaster Week 47

Valencia still has a big name as it seems^^ And Tottenham gets good early support despite being quite some odds-underdogs.

@dittoup lucky you only need to send CV. I had to webcam with ty and rdbase to showcase my... private... um. Never mind.

 Grin

Was a hard decision with accepting you, had sleepless nights, weighed the pros and cons. But the 2BTC hand money you sent made it a clear yes in the end for me.

Your picks have 3 sequences of 1-1-2-2 btw Shocked, which reminds of an idea I had to make my picks, which is just using a MM result from the past and putting it on the upcoming MM games like a template without even checking the games - like this from week 44:

Can't be much worse than I am often doing. Maybe for next week Wink

Yeah, it was so close but oh wait did you and Indymoney win last week with 9 correct picks? I thought the winners had 10 correct picks

This all-time stat table is just picks from this thread. And the weekly winner(s) from this thread, get those fame points. It's just for fun - I am probably bored too often Wink

Try BTCGOSU, which is a relatively new, but already well-known site operated by efialtis, with lots of reviews, special offers etc. He also has his own thread here in this gambling section, which you can find here.

I meant that I like to be included in the spreadsheet that is posted weekly in this thread.  But thanks for answering anyway

Ok, we need your CV then and you would need to fly to Hawaii to meet our internal MM jury for an interview. If we are positive about you and think you can handle the pressure on a weekly basis, you can join the family. jk

Just post your picks in here once you made them and I'll add you to the table. For free and without any requirements other than being nice here in this thread Grin
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 16, 2020, 01:11:22 PM
Germany is maybe my biggest disappointment in the last year or so. They are playing so bad defense that if there wasn't Croatia I would say they are the worst at the moment. Yes they are good going forward but when they meet a team like Portugal or France that does good defense and then transition I am putting my money on their opponents. They conceded 3 goals from Turkey and 3 goals from Ukraine recently and basically every team that played against them managed to score a goal.

I second that - offense wins games, defense wins Championships. It's a bit of a meh saying, but carries a lot of truth. Defensively the german NT is really pathetic since a long time. This was kind of expected after Boateng/Hummels (were) retired from international duties, but what worries me the most, is that there seems to be no improvement after such a long time. Boateng/Hummels were a terrific duo for a long time, but the quality is still there with Süle/Rüdiger/Tah, they just can't get their act together. This is also due to Löw always taking a very offensive approach, which I like, but if you have 75% of the team in an attacking state of mind, you as a defender are doomed and often look poor. Lahm is also missing a lot after all those years, what a player he was.

Another problem is the lack of leadership on the pitch. You have all these skilled players, but no real boss, like for example Schweinsteiger was and Müller still is (at Bayern). Kroos should normally be that guy, but it's against his temper in the end and you can't force it out of a player.

There is lots of work to do defensively and in terms of team spirit, offensively it's a beauty to watch all the time though. But Germany has always been a team, that excels during a tournament and other nations have their own problems.

Just a look at the Euro2021 odds already tells you, how wide open this tournament will be:

England at 6.2 though....but they are always low on Betfair, because of the majority of customers being british. Beliiiiiiiiieeeeeeevvvvvveeeeeee Grin
