Exodus is a multicryptocurrencies wallet and it will let you hold such cryptos as BTC, LTC, ETH, ETC, EOS, DASH etc.
The advice to use Myetherwallet is more proper to them who participate in bounties, airdrops and ICOs and let you receive ETH and so called ERC20 tokens.
By the way, Exodus use ShapeShift to make exchanges between cryptos you hold in this wallet.
 

If you want to invest in crytpo, so don't hesitate, just do it right now. People used to say: "Make hay while the sun shines!". But it seems to me that investing only in BTC at its such high price isn't a good idea. Make some research and choose a couple of altcoins from the crypto TOP-30. There are some alts with very promising future...  

Thanx for the link. Interesting project but in my humble opinion I don't think the project starter will keep reporting during FIVE(!) coming years.
Here the PS gave 2 screenshots of TOP-20. The first one was made on December 3rd, 2016 and the second December 4th, 2017. So I compared them and can say that Peerplays which rank was #18 and it costed $15.26 on December 3rd, 2016 now is out of TOP-300 (its rank is 310 and its price is $3.91).

In my humble opinion It's hard to give an advice when the amount of money for investing is less than $500. Maybe you should buy some perspective coin with low price from the TOP-20? NEM for example...

In my humble opinion the only reason of making your own cryptocurrency is to earn money in 99.9% of cases. And only 0.01 percent of developers have really an interesting idea which they will to realize in their coin.

If bitcoin's value decreases you can keep holding it waiting that time when bitcoin begins grow again or you can make some research and change your bitcoins to some altcoin which is growing at this time.

One week before I would laughing at such  a question thinking it's only a joke but last two days overwhelming growth of Ethereum price says me that it is not unpossible...

I solved the problem with such technique: sold at Yobit NEM to BTC, bought LTC, send'em to my LTC wallet, then send my LTC to Bittrex, bought there BTC again, then changed them to NEM and then send'em to my Nano Wallet.  

Guys, need help! I tried to withdraw my NEM coins from Yobit but after submitting it's wrote "Invalid Memo/Message". Should I fill the window Message? If yes what I've got to write there? Thanx in advance.

BTC max supply is 21 000 000 coins. Litecoin's max supply is 4 times larger. But Bitcoin costs 52 times more than Litecoin. So if LTC price rise 2-3 times more at these days it won't mean Litecoin has reached the Moon, will it?

You are right that BTC is unstoppable but to make x2-x3 investing in bitcoin is much harder now than investing in altcoin from TOP-20 of the cryptoworld so it make sense to make some research and choose a perspective altcoin which could give you fine profit making x2-x3 in 3-4 months.

In my humble opinion investing in Ethereum is profitable. Maybe it isn't so profitable as investin g in Your Majesty of the cryptoworld Bitcoin but despite of crytpokitties triubles people choose Eth to invest.

Nobody knows the real cause of such fast growth of Litecoin. But I suggest that some beginners who starts nowadays to invest in cryptocurrency are frightened by BTC high price and choose some coin with lower price

I can't say that I believe in NEO but every coin which Chinese begin investing in becomes attractive and can make a huge growth. I have been watching this cryptocoin since the middle of November and since then it grew up to $47 but then it dropped down to $30 now it's going to correlate and only Chinese  know where it will go in the next month.

There are a lot of coins that have very potential future. But my best picks among them are NEM (XEM). I am very much sure that this coin will cost 10$ or maybe more in the next year.

Go to myetherwallet.com site and create your first Ethereum wallet. It will help you to participate in the most of bounties and airdrops which require having Eth address. Besides of it you should have Twitter and Facebook accounts. Be patient and profit will knock on your door! 

2-3 year investment? If you are a kind of Oracle so do it right now! But I think you are not because of you need an advise here. Nobody knows what is going to be with well known cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Eth, LTC in a year and your question concerns little-known Bitquance and such a long for the cryptocurrency world period as 2-3 years!

I think coins with low market capitalization can go to any direction. If those coins go upwards you can get big rewards and if they go downwards you comes in big loss.

Your advice #19 to control your emotions when the prices is going up or down and advice #20 to never be emotional in your trading aren't they the same one? On the other hand, in the most of cases emotions are our enemies, they never let us make right decision and it doesn't depend what kind of work you do, trading or something else, emotions will never be on your side...
