There seems to be an issue with the EthConnect staking. I just staked a little over 1400 ECH. Everywhere on the website says that 1 ECH is worth $5 however in my dashboard it says that my 1400 is in USD, not ECH. That means if this isn't corrected I lost $5,600 in value because of this stupid issue with the website. You will see under AMOUNT it says my staking is in USD. That is how many coins I staked not how much USD therefore the developers need to change it to either 1 of 2 things. Either the USD under staking amount should correctly read ("amount of coins staked" x's $5) or next to the number it should say "ECH" See screenshot here There is a cancel button next to your stake however that doesn't work. In addition to that issue, you can't lend in ECH. It has to be USD and there is no way to convert your ECH to USD to make a loan. Plus the internal exchange is over 6 days delayed. WHAT A TOTAL MESS ETHCONNECT IS!!!

Does the referral program pay commissions on referrals who lend? I would believe so however I am not seeing it in black and white (print). Unless I keep overlooking it. Thanks in advance.

The domain is actually tex.io now. The company started with texcoin.io and then was able to secure tex.io but should have redirected texcoin.io to tex.io to avoid confusion and to avoid losing traffic going to the texcoin.io site.

HashFlare.io has made something crazy today ..do this thing company preparing for something big or going out or something
Update 06.11.2017 16:45:00 UTC: Withdrawals are enabled (except ZEC), however, the minimum withdrawal amounts have been temporarily increased for monitoring purposes. We estimate this to be reverted within 48 hours. The temporary amounts are currently: Bitcoin: 0.2 BTC Ethereum: 5 ETH Dash: 3 DASH
Thank you for choosing HashFlare!
I think this is only temporary. They won't be requiring withdrawals of this size long term.

I have decided to begin both swing trading of bitcoins and trading some bitcoins with altcoins on a few smaller exchanges. I will have money each month from a side job to put into this, but I need a good, trusted exchange to buy my first bitcoins from. I have been looking at Gemini.com, but I do not know whether they are good, or if another would be better. I plan to link my bank account, and buy some each month, but I want to avoid having my identity stolen, or having my bank account cleaned out. I am not willing to provide my social security number to any party I do not trust completely. Also, I am a US citizen, living in America, and using United States Dollars. Any advice on which route I should take would be greatly appreciated.
I am in the US too and the first exchange I started using (and still use sometimes presently) is Coinbase. It's US Regulated and very easy to use. If you decide to use Coinbase here is a link that will give you $10 In free bitcoin if you deposit a minimum of $100: https://www.coinbase.com/join/59750d034d3af202774f6d1eI also use others such as Kraken and Bittrex. They too are based in the US as well however I don't recommend them for someone just starting out using crypto exchanges. They are a little bit more technical and it's probably best to become familiar with making some small purchases with Coinbase in the beginning and then once you feel more comfortable placing crypto orders then you could move to the more technical exchanges and I recommend using Kraken/Bitrexx for that. GDax is also good but it's very technical as well. Like I said, I am in the US as well so if you need help going through the process I will be more than happy to help you out. It would be my way of "paying it forward" to those who had been there for me when I started out. Just PM if you want some guidance.

Firstly Ripple has a MASSIVE marketcap... its whole fundamentals stink to me (if you have a moral compass)
My personal low cap picks at the moment are Viacoin and UBIQ. Go give them a little look
I like UBIQ too. I picked some up the other day with ARK.

nothing of what you just said is correct! [...] small cap alt coins. [.....] I like Ripple, long term.
Ripple is currently the 3rd in market cap and not so long ago it was the first even higher than bitcoin! and as far as your "Long Term" goes, here is how your Ripple has been performing in long term: a slow agonizing drop down from 25,000 to 5,000 Say what you want! I like Ripple long term! It's what I like. If you don't like Ripple you don't have buy it. Just because it hasn't performed up to your standards and your charts doesn't mean it's not a good investment. When I created this thread I asked people what they liked. I didn't ask for "know it alls" to come here and shit on people's likes. Think about your intentions before making posts. Is it that you want the world to think you are so smart and that you read a chart therefore everyone has to think you know it all? And yes, I get my same information on coinmarketcap.com too so you aren't showing anyone anything we don't already know about. A wise person once told me if you can't say something nice don't say it at all. But then again many internet users are socially challenged anyway. And lastly you are supposed to be so smart? Your chart is only 3 months back. You call that "long term"? I don't think the problem here is that the fact I called Ripple long term a problem. I think your understanding of the English language and what long term means is flawed. Long term is not May 2017 - August 2017 as your chart would suggest. Long term is 3-5 years into the future. So learn and understand the English language before telling someone else they are incorrect when your understanding of what people are says is incorrect.

Where did you learn to do math?
What are you even talking about? Where in my post is there any calculations? Maybe you should learn to read. Or do you have nothing better to do than trolling other people's threads.

Hello everyone. I waited to create this thread to see what everyone thinks of the various small cap alt coins. Please take a minute to reply with 1 or a few small cap alt coins that you like and think are a good investment either short or long term.
I will start:
I like Ripple, long term. It has been fluctuating a lot lately having gone as high as nearly $.29 however I think in the next couple of years it's will be posied to break out. I purchased 2000 and I plan on getting another 2-3000 once it dips below $.20 again.

Ya after thinking twice, this is obviously a scam. How can you earn back your payment in just 5 days?
Testing out the free version isn't hurting anyone. Let's see how that goes. Let's see if they payout. I'll stick with the free payouts for life to avoid any issues. How is that risky? how long does it takes till the minimum payout? I was just reading something on reditt about that but forgot exactly what the number is. What I will say is that after what I just read on reditt I would not pay for hashpower on this website until I see many many more users proving payouts.

people giving out stuff for free, more like ponzi similar sites for btc, eth and other crypto coins existed before and will always exist as long as people are greedy Well there are certainly tons of sites popping up all over the place. I was recently checking out some of these crypto hyip site reviews on YouTube and you see all the videos going from how great the site is until a week goes by and the new videos are talking about how horrible they are. I think there is nothing to lose testing out the free Litecoin on this site. If they payout great. If they don't, I walk away.
