I think price needs to be stabilized as there has been lot of pumps and dumps in the value of bitcoin which affects other altcoin value as well like we saw recently when bitcoin was going down people started shifting their funds to altcoins like ripple which gave their price a huge push but as far as bitcoin is concerned it will rise again like how it did in the past but it will be good to see a stable price.

Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?

If you look at today's market situation bitcoin has dropped by a huge margin but I thiNo this might lead to a pump in couple of months as more people will buy bitcoin as most of us were waiting for a price dump to buy bitcoin which seems to be impossible but now this is the right time for opportunists to buy bitcoin as more buying will increase the demand and press to I increase in its value.

Yes indeed it's purely because of correction and most of the users are selling bitcoin due to the high transaction fee and transaction time but we can still manager with the transaction time but not with the sky high transaction fee and i believe the reason for high transaction fee is due to correction and things will be back to normal in couple of week and this is not a good to trade bitcoin so as you have mentioned it will be a smart move just to hold on to the bitcoin and wait for sometime.

You just nailed it and I have did exactly the same thing as I have stocked my wallet with good amount of Ripple as it has shown some good improvement in last one month but at the sametime  I have invested into few other ICO as well which I felt are the next big thing but as usual bitcoin will rise again after couple of weeks and the best strategy will be to buy some bitcoin and hold.it for future.

Investing in altcoins can be extremely profitable and can give you unimaginable returns but nowadays there are hundred of altcoins and everyday dozens of ICO's are launched and I have planned to divide my investment between the existing potential altcoins which Worth's less than $1 and then remaining on the challenging and potential ICO which will be the next big thing as I can buy a chunk of it when the value is less.

Looking at the dump which is going on for last couple of days do you guys think it's the beginning of the end for bitcoin or its just one more dump and pump time for bitcoin which we have witnessed in the past ? Kindly respond with your valuable feedback considering the rise of altcoins and ICO , bitcoin being under the eyes of regulators , some rumours that most of EU will ban bitcoin starting with France.

I am not sure about can but as per my observations ripple and Litecoin are more stable than any other altcoins but to be honest we cannot predict anything as it keeps changing and its into us to read the market situation and buy or sell the crypto depending on the situation as there are people who bought bitcoin around $200 but did not sell it when people well selling in huge when it reached $2000 mark but rather trying to sell it now when it might reach $20000 and then reinvest into bitcoin if value dumps or probably any other alt. So we cannot expect stability in crypto

Next year will be a big year for crypto currency with lot of expectations and lot of focus like never before due to the pump of 1700% more than what it was in January 2017 I believe either the myth of bitcoin being a bubble.will be burried if bitcoin overcomes all the hurdles and gain little bit of stability and gets green signal from any regulators.

Indeed it takes lot of time and unlimited research to be a good trader and needs to be upto date with current affairs and also any news about the bitcoin as this will give hint abiut dump and pump about bitcoin but I think they can try sometHinf different and start buying the most potential altcoins in bulk which is under $1 and hold on to read while doing research about other altcoins and once the value of those under $1 altcoins increases then trade it.

There is a lot of accusations that ripple is more of centralized crypto which will only benefit the government and banks not for individual investors and also it serves the agenda of bank to penetrate the crypto currency market ? Is it true ? Because as far as I think ripple.will benefit everyone and make transfer of funds more easier and there was an recently article where there are speculation that ripple.will be more decentralized than bitcoin

That's a nice piece of suggestion but I still feel investing everything into crypto will not be a smart choice rather you can invest 50% of funds into crypto and then once you start getting profit you can invest it back into crypto by being upto date and spend more time going through the factors affecting crypto world

Coinbase is the safest and jargon free wallet I have been using it since 2015 and never had any issues with it but at the moment I am feeling the pinch while transferring the bitcoin as I have to pay hefty transaction fee actually it's a fixed % earlier the value of bitcoin was less so it didn't matter but now the kind of transaction charge is unacceptable and sooner people will be looking for more cost effective wallet

Ripple might hit $5 by 2018 if the prediction goes well and if it is added to coinbase as far as my understanding once a altcoins is added to coinbase it already goes to next level as coinbase is one of the most trusted and user friendly wallet I have ever come across and if you look at Litecoin and ethreum which are considered to be next bitcoin with better features they are added to coinbase apart from any other alts whose value is much more than these coins

Yes i have invested in all of these coins i mean i already had litecoin as well as ethreum and obviously bitcoin as well but i have shifted my funds to Ripple as i find ripple different from all the other altcoins as i feel ripple will work hand in hand with financial institutions and banks so there will be no chances of any regulatory issues as bitcoin is banned in some countries but ripple will not be banned as it looks more centralized currency to be which has been advertised as a decentralized currency.

Yes this Stratis is really interesting and has increased the worth by almost 300% in last 17 days and i believe it will increase further as 2018 will be fruitful for these altcoins and i found the portfolio of stratis really valuable but i will still go for alts like Ripple, Tokens (UTT United Traders Token , UTK UTrust Tokens) as they are at the initial stage of their value pump and they can give better returns in a year's time.

I can proudly say bitcoin has helped me to improve the quality of my life and finances as well and i believe bitcoin is like a boon to this generation people if utilized in proper manner and most of us use bitcoin as a medium of exchange and also i am elated to see there are many new ICO who are trying to get some sort of projects where they can convert the crypto currencies to fiat when transferred (optional) which will make our life easier and bitcoin has helped many people to get their finances right.

Probably bitcoin can be one of the best medium to get paid (I hope the transaction time will to be improved in future which will make it more convenient) as if you get paid in bitcoin you get some sort of perks if the bitcoin's value pumps and also i believe other developed nations will follow Japan's footstep in adapting bitcoin or blockchain technology and go for crypto instead of fiat.
