If an ICO could not raise needed softcap not to talk of hardcap, there will be no reason to continue such ICO since there won't be fund for development  of such project hence the failure of such ICO! There are other regulatory reason and legal reasons as well.

Cryotocurrency is somewhat abstract and definitely not tangible for average person to relate with! vBitcoin used to be a currency  for I.T professional and coders and devs until people begining to see the  massive advantage of bitcoin over fiat!

I definiteky agree with the Op on this! The speed at which bitcoin reached the ATH last year was too fast! This has brought unwanted attention and some negative response from government!  We need steady growth that takky with real world use!
