401  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 08, 2017, 02:48:27 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

Well if you look at the problem closely there are 2 sides to this.
In both scenarios you've mentioned, there are a groups of about 30% of people who actually find value in bitcoin and use it as a payment method.
Other 70% in current scenario are attracted with high volatility and a potential for profit.
If there was a higher supply and a smaller fluctuation in price you would have much more people involved,
an actual usage increased and much higher trust in cryptocurrencies,a more healthier market overall.
So that would definitely make it more popular and used.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 08, 2017, 01:58:02 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

Those who lean on and go on with their current life, are not smart, they are called lazy! It doesn't have any relation with Smartness. A smart person will always try for betterment and will try to take their lifestyle to the next level. But only a lazy person, will go with the flow.

Also I believe that a smart person needs to be strategic as well, because planning is a very important thing to live a good life. If you can't plan your actions, you may suffer a heavy loss in any stages of your life. So a smart person needs to be strategic to get the best return from a minimum effort. That's why, in today's modern workplace, hard workers remain as a labour where the smart workers become the Manager.

You're right and that's kind of the thing we all forget.
You can be smart, intelligent, pretty, talented but this all has no value if you're lazy.
I know for myself how precious time is,and how much I've wasted it my self constantly procrastinating.
You can be smart as Einstein but if you're sitting on couch all day long you're just as average as everyone else.
403  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 08, 2017, 01:45:44 AM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?

Bitcoin is everyone who has access to the internet, It doesn't classify people base on physical appearance (Since we are anonymous), Emotionally, mentally and financially. Bitcoin offers or opens a lot of opportunities to not learn and feed your mind with knowledge and information but also earning extra money to sustain your needs. I agree that we are different in terms of skills and capabilities, though Bitcoin will not discriminate a person hence it gives an opportunity to showcase his/her skills.

true, bitcoin is only for educated and knowledgeable people, because educated people who can read all the writing in this discussion room and only knowledgeable people who can understand the purpose and purpose of this bitcoin. without the science of clear people will never know all the current technological advances, and also without knowledge is very difficult to make money.

I beg to disagree. Not all around here are well educated (if we are to say, Having a Degree or those who finished their college) there are people in this community that doesn't have any degree. But based on what you've said, Your basis of being educated is the ability of one person's to read and write. Then, That's absurd. Everyone here knows how to read and write (Are they educated? No, It's a basic fundamental of life and learning). Knowledge in Bitcoin can be learned that doesn't deprive one person to join in a community like this. That's why people engage here to learn. (Factual, A lot of people here did start from nothing to something. Not all Bitcoiners are already equipped with knowledge and information when they join here at this industry. They might have an idea about it but not to the point that they know everything).

Lastly, I don't get how science get into this picture? The science of Clear People? In which branches of science will this Science of clear people fall? Current news about advanced technology is available in the newspaper, web and any type of social medias. It's just common sense, and you don't deep knowledge about science to know this type of advancement.
I agree with you.In the past few years I've been looking in all kinds of things regarding trading, stocks etc.
I've found bitcoin and the technology and market behind it one of the simplest things out there.
So it's kinda stupid thread. There are all kinds of people, and not everything suits everyone,
but I'm very sure majority of people can become very knowledgeable about bitcoin in few weeks period.

Having a lot of knowledge in the cryptocurrency are very important. Sometimes, knowledge serves the bridge to become rich. Knowledge is really a great factor to become successful person.

A lot of "smart" people lack intelligence. You might think they are synonymous, but I assure you they are not. See, smarts or booksmarts are simply one's ability to read and comprehend enough to pass a test on the subject. However, intelligence is the application of this knowledge in real life, which many smart people are not capable of. In fact, people who are not quite as smart could be more intelligent for this reason.

I tend to disagree with this view

What you mean by intelligence being the application of some knowledge in real life is properly called experience, and that has little if anything to do with intelligence as such. Basically, you get experience by applying or testing some knowledge you likely obtained via books in real life, thereby getting the hang of things, how they actually work in real life. And the level of how experienced you are primarily depends on how often and in what amounts you "test" your hand at something. Intelligence just makes this process more straightforward and fast (since you learn faster), but these are still entirely different things

In my opinion intelligence is the speed of application of knowledge and learned experiences.
The more intelligent people are faster at comprehending things and applying the knowledge and previous experiences in certain situations.
They require less time doing the same intellectual work, that's why e.g. they measure time during IQ tests.
A simple comparison would be between computers with different CPU speeds. The 'smarter' computer is the one which processes tasks faster .
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 12:08:44 AM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you think it will happen and when?

Yea,banks see bitcoin as a potential threat, but they'll handle it in a different way than you think.
They will not spend money and time campaigning against it,but they'll destroy it by issuing their own cryptocurrencies.
And just imagine banks with all their logistics and money being able to invest...for me one of the reasons not to hold bitcoin long term.
406  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin so the main choice on: September 05, 2017, 11:58:44 PM
why are many people willing to drop their jobs and prefer to focus more on the world of crypto like bitcoin?

Because they are not smart.Even if they made some profit in the current hype, many of them are not aware of how the market can be fluctuating.
And why would you quit your job,it's not even that complicated to do your shift and in free time keep an eye on the markets.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 04, 2017, 06:12:22 PM
Well, aren't those the same things?I've never seen a person who is strategic and dumb at the same time Cheesy.
One,kind of,requires another.To become a good strategist,you have to be smart,you have to think,read,be active
and know how to discern whats good and whats bad for you in life.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: September 04, 2017, 05:40:05 PM
I feel kinda stupid for missing all this profits.
If one had invested in time he could easily be a millionaire by now,
and in less than a half year period.
Nevertheless I decided not to ever again in my life miss out an opportunity like this.

No,I don't think so.For the common use it's not that complicated to understand the technology behind it,
however if you're planing on investing and making money, you should maybe study these things in a greater detail.
410  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Love really exist ? on: September 01, 2017, 03:47:41 AM
Hatred has taken over almost every where in the societies in recent time whether in the  family, Church, Musqe, office, play ground, school, among young and old people. All of this that happen in our societies made me wonder whether LOVE exist. This is because if you check the meaning of love you will agree with me that love doesn't exist anywhere.

I actually think the opposite.History of human kind is full of hatred. When you look back at history it's all about wars,dominance,ruthlessness..
The period we're currently living in is the most peaceful period in history ever. But some people very dislike it.
They are thirsty of profits and the biggest profits are made during the wars.
So I don't really see this status quo lasting too long.I'm afraid OP you're just about to see how evil people can be or what they are capable of.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: September 01, 2017, 02:38:19 AM
My bitcoin dream is to collect at least few bitcoins and completely forget about them.
Then in 50 years when bitcoin reaches 1 000 000 $ (  Cool ) sell them and become rich.  Grin .
I hope by that time I'll be a bit smarter and know what to invest in or at least enjoy to the end of my life and do whatever I want.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: September 01, 2017, 02:29:35 AM
It hard to estimate.A hundred years is a long period of time.
It's only 2017 and it seems like we are already at the verge of the new world war.
Who will use bitcoin if a new war comes out which at the moment seems very possible.
Maybe in a hundred years we'll be back at cultivating land  Cheesy
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: September 01, 2017, 02:14:56 AM
I highly doubt any other cryptocurrency will replace bitcoin.First of all 90% of altcoins are made for pump and dump and quick profit.
It would take tremendous effort for other coins to reach the public as bitcoin did.I know for a fact most of the ordinary people
don't even know other cryptocurrencies exist.Bitcoin is already well established, and exepted as a mean of payment
in many stores, shops etc. That's what makes it valuable despite of current flaws.
414  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: August 31, 2017, 07:58:10 AM
i do. i think i do. it's all theoretical tho. at least i think we're not here by accident but everything has purpose. to me "god" is everything together that exists on this realm and beyond. it's beyond my comprehension anyways. i dont do religions, but i think god exists.

Well,as a believer I really respect your stance.I think it's most logical to believe
in some kind of spiritual form,or to put it simply to believe there's at least one single thing
that's beyond our senses or logical thinking.I think the most ignorant ones are the ones who
call us ignorant, the atheists. We as humans literally don't know anything about us,or why we
even exist, yet they feel confident enough to think if i can't feel it or see it,means it doesn't exist.
415  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: August 31, 2017, 07:03:07 AM
I don't support death penalty. It just helps the prisoner escape the real punishment
which is facing yourself and the things you've done.I don't think death is a punishment
at all.The things one messes up in this life should be dealt with in this life.I believe
everyone can improve and become a better person and who are we to take
someones chance to repent and feel sorry for what he has done.
416  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: August 31, 2017, 06:47:10 AM
Yeah I believe in God.For much of my life I was an atheist,
constantly looking for some physical evidence...Until I realized God
is much more than we can perceive with our poor senses or thinking abilities.
Some people always attack us saying 'well how can you be sure there's God,
you've never seen him'..my answer is..there's difference between knowing
and believing in God.You got one simple choice,to believe you're just insignificant
stain in the universe,or to believe your life actually has value and purpose.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you see bitcoin in the future? on: August 31, 2017, 05:17:10 AM
In the future I see bitcoin rising to about 5-6k $ by the end of the next month.
For the next few years bitcoin will be falling gradually to a min. of around 2.5 k $.
Then,at a time of next halving the price could jump all the way up to 10k.
Generally I see bitcoin increase in value, especially after some problems like high transaction fees are resolved.
418  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How did Americans get so damn stupid? on: August 31, 2017, 02:58:27 AM
It's a shame how people can get degraded in just a few decades.
Fifty years ago Americans were just like any other developed nation: decent, cultural and educated.
But that crazy period of 70's, 80's and 90's was literally a death of western civilization.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fee is Expensive !!! on: August 31, 2017, 02:41:14 AM
Few weeks ago I got ripped off even more than you.
Sometimes for small transactions you could pay even higher fee than the value you're sending.
But,after this last SegWit things should improve gradually if I'm right.
420  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Porez on: August 31, 2017, 02:12:12 AM
