Plugged in the ff. values in whattomine: Ethash - 55 Mh/s - 125w = $2.46 /day Equihash - 750 sols/s - 200w = $2.00 /day It is indeed now more profitble to mine Eth with a 1080ti. However, that doesn't mean it is the MOST profitable. Other secret coins out there are still better.. Less heat and lower electricity bill might do the trick for those who already roid their rigs or for the new ones that didnt had the chance to encounter problems with cooling gpus when outside temperature is over 40C.Yeah i agree that there are better coins to mine now but days of 20$ per card are gone for now that's for sure, on the eve of the coming summer in some countries, the temperature will start to go above a certain level of 40 degrees and cooling on the same Zcash will be very problematic - you can translate the farm to a colder algorithm, thanks to the developers for the opportunity |
