I believe that spam is also associated with scam. A scam ICO can easily make a thread and lots of new accounts to spam his/her own thread, and it will be hard to scan all of the pages to see if someone accused them as scammers. Why would you need a bumping service, if you could create an army of shitposters? I'm not happy nor sad about the merit system, and I know it's not about the issue of shitposting, because I still it, especially on altcoins announcement section.
I know my suggestions are not needed, but I hope the authorities could reach them:
1. Add more ranks after legendary, so every merits of legendary members will be useful.
2. Remove merit system on brand new to full member or senior member ranks, I believe these names are associated with how long they've been active.
3. Remove activity, why bother showing it if it's all about merit?
4. I believe it's also about bounty abusers, I would like to suggest to do a KYM (know your member) on all of the members of this forum. This may easily stop bounty abusers and SCAM ICOs too!

I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment.My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.
How long have you known bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies before you started investing your money? Did you ever make a research before you put your money, or you just been investing when people like Tai Lopez tells you to put your money on whatever they say?  I hope he could help, even though he hates cryptocurrencies. This is funny, isn't it? People don't have a problem in waiting for 3,4,5 or even 10 years after investing in equities, mutual funds or bullion. But the same people get impatient within two weeks after investing in Bitcoin.
He must have been thinking that his $1350 could turn into a million dollars in less than a year. I hated people like this, they buy cryptocurrencies just to make more money and never support the underlying technology, and they're just adding FUD to the crypto world. |

Sa ngayon, ang masabi ko na lang kung paano mo malalaman na legit ang ICO campaign na iyong sasalihan ay kung ang kahit isa man lang sa miyembro ng kumpanya ay makikita ko sa mga summit or blockchain events na ginaganap sa iba't- ibang panig ng mundo. Kung ganyan ka lang tumingin sa mga ICO, mas malamang ay mas mautak na sila sayo. May nakita na akong dalawang perfect scam ICO, may mga binayaran din sila para i-feature sila sa mga kung anu-anong mga medias kagaya nalang ng sa youtube. Kahit tignan mo pa kung meron na silang github, ay mahirap masabi na scam sila. Ang unang naging scam ICO na nasalihan ko ay Benebit, tinignan ko noon kung meron na silang github, at ok naman at nakita ko na may hinahanda na silang token para sa kanilang ICO, pero nahuli sila ng isang investor nung malaman niya kung saan nagtratrabaho yung mga tao sa kumpanya na iyon, sumakto pa na dinadaanan lang ng isa sa mga investor yung lugar na nakasaad sa LinkedIn account ng mga miyembro ng Benebit ICO, di ko lang sure if nahuli sila pero according to an article- gumastos ang Benebit team ng malalaking pera para ipromote sila ng iba't-ibang ICO promoters. Pangalawa, kung alam mo ang tungkol sa nangyaring Denaro ICO scam, si Ivan Tech na kilalang cryptocurrency enthusiast at youtuber ay in-endorse ang scam campaign na iyon. Ang naging tanging salaysay niya lang, binayaran lang daw siya ng Denaro team upang ipromote ang kanilang ICO. Ang nakakainis doon, sana man lang bago nya i-promote ang ICO, dapat kinilala niya muna ang mga tao sa kumpanya na iyon, kahit man lang sana nakipagmeet-up sya or through Skype man lang. Nakakalungkot isipin na kailangan lang ng mga scam ICOs na bayaran ang mga promoter para mabigyan sila ng pansin lalo na ng mga baguhan sa ICO! At kahit sabihin mo na binigyan ka ng token ng isang ICO, ay hindi mo parin sigurado na magagmit mo iyon. |

Hi bounty campaign manager, I would like to ask if this campaign will last until April 25 only, based on the week you've started the campaign, I just started to register yesterday so my works will be 4 weeks only, or are you going to make it 5 weeks until April 30?
You're bounty reward is high, and I guess all of the generosity you will give us w/c is amounting 24.45 million tokens will not all be used.
If it's not too much, may I suggest to adjust the amount a bit higher or maybe extend the campaign even if the ICO is over.

If only ranking is still based on the old system, I would suggest to add Ancient rank which ranks higher than the Legendary or maybe after the Veteran rank, as most of the posters here suggest. They deserved that rank for being active on the forum for a long time.

If you look on the history of currency, gold is the oldest known to mankind. It has been widely used since the ancient times, they bought anything using it. Until people realized that gold is heavy, and they found another one that also came from the ground. But one of the most useful as of today is the paper currency which came from China.
If people say that gold is the better option, I would agree with them because, gold is still widely used as a store of value ever since and bitcoin was created from 2009, it's still a baby in the market with a volatility in the market.
The one thing I'm not sure of is how gold retained its price and position on the market.
Just let time pass, and soon people will realize that producing gold needs a huge amount of manpower and can potentially harm every miners lives and our precious planet.

Hi admin, I would like to ask about the registration on your web page. On your OP post, you said that we could register with our FB, Twitter, or E-MAIL in order to earn bitcointalk bounty rewards. But my concern is, I registered first using my e-mail account which I don't use on both my FB and Twitter account. Will that be alright, or should I register with any of my social media accounts?
Registering on the main page didn't asked me for my ETH address so I'm worried if my works on Twitter and FB would be counted, I hope you could reply.

What the hell are you talking about?! Rules of the forum have nothing together with Satoshi. Yes, he is kinda one of the oldest participant of the forum, but he doesn't play any role here and did not appear for years.

I was able to say that because I never heard a news or read a thread discussing about satoshi's stay here from the very start that i created my account here 'til now. Satoshi Nakamoto is a founder of BitcoinTalk forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3As far as I know, the first forum concerned to Bitcoin was on the SourceForge. Afterwards the current forum powered by SMF was founded by "satoshi" and "Sirius" here. I don't know about the opinion of Satoshi Nakamoto, but I mostly adopt the merit system deployed on the forum. BitcoinTalk was saved from being full of a lot of very high rank users. It's such a shame to know that a Sr. Member which is much older/higher than our ranks doesn't know much about Satoshi Nakamoto, I didn't know how he got into this forum, without even searching for the creator of bitcoin or the guy who sold 10,000 BTC for two pizzas. I bet he never knew about the creators of LTC, ETH and other cryptos have been here too.  Bitcointalk has started to add more rules , more censorship, and bullying from high ranks. This forum is against everything satoshi believed in now. Satoshi would be rolling in his grave at all the abuse of power going on here. I call it like I see it.

What more rules are you talking about? If it's about the merit system, it's maybe unfair to low ranks like us, but it's how they could track the signature bounty abusers. Honestly, it was ironic that only few weeks left before my rank up, the merit system was implemented. It shattered my hope to tell my grandkids that I was a member of this forum with high rank, in case they will ask me about cryptocurencies. |
