401  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: November 25, 2017, 02:32:37 AM
After a month of hard work I have to pay quite a lot of things. I just got one about 200$ to invest in bitcoin. Should or should not. Please help me !  Lips sealed
My recommendation is that you read the forum, reddit and some articles on the internet first before taking any decision, when we are talking about money you should always take the time to make a good decision, for many 200 dollars is not a lot of money but for some that is a whole month salary so take your time and do not take a rushed decision.
402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: profit amount? on: November 25, 2017, 02:29:46 AM
daily profit for me is changing from 10 to 100%. with the new algorithm.
That is unrealistic even earning 10% daily is too much you will become a billionaire in just a matter of years if you could pull out that daily, in my opinion some people just have expectations that are simply too high if you could earn 5% per week you will be doing great already, you will only need to increase the size of your capital to increase your profits.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin potential on: November 25, 2017, 02:25:10 AM
Hello guys, how much can Bitcoin gain, reallistically talking. How much money is there in the world that Bitcoin can attract from the people of this world?
I think it is kind of useless to try to calculate how much money could enter in bitcoin and the reason for that is that I think bitcoin is going to become the dominant currency of the world in the future, so instead of thinking in dollars we are going to think in bitcoin units.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you budget your money in a day on: November 25, 2017, 02:22:43 AM
For me budgeting money in a day leads to your success in wealth. As a student I budget money in which atleast 50% of my allowance will be part of my savings. So you how do you budget your money? I wanna know your strategy.
Setting up a daily budget does not seem like the best idea in some day you will need to spend more money while in others you will spend less, budgets most of the time are done monthly that way you can see monthly expenses like rent, mortgage payments and utility bills.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: November 25, 2017, 02:20:28 AM
Well I mean, is something like this all that surprising? In smaller countries, where they're already ridden with corrupution and the governments trying to squeeze as much as they can out of people. Do you think they're going to allow for a decentralized currency to come in as a way to hide money from the government? No, they're obviously not going to leave any power to anyone else. Because if they do, that'll lead them down a long line of them probably losing their position for being too WEAK.

There's a lot of money to be made in centralized banking, especially for governments and banks, teehee.
Correct, while I would like bitcoin to be legal all over the world I cannot blame them they are understanding very clearly that bitcoin a threat to them and they are taking actions to protect themselves unfortunately for them that is not going to work.
406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Late Arrival for Long Term Investment Advise on: November 24, 2017, 02:10:08 AM
Late Arrival for Long Term Investment Advise:

I been studying the crypto recently, reading several discussion threats, trying to understand the projects, the market, watching several videos, but i still a newbie.

I am planning to invest 13K that i have available now, but as a long term hold-collector investment more than make money in the short term, no problem waiting years.

I have my doubts about Bitcoin, the confirmation times, the large fees, I don’t see this as a market coin(pay in an mall or store for goods in a future, etc.) because the times, the fact you have to wait more than 10 minutes (way longer depending the network / amount - could take hours) for the confirmations does not make sense in a world everything it is getting more faster... imagine waiting for the computer you just bought in the store, but the transaction still under confirmation for 60 minutes......  but i may be wrong, again i am new into this  Grin.

So, I love the idea Bitcoin is dragging the other cryptos with free advertisement and lots of people are getting into crypto lately and i am very interested in the other coins.

My Take:
- Ethereum 8K
- Litecoin 1K
- EOS      1K
- LSK      1K
- Monero   1K
- IOTA     $500
- BLOCK    $500

My Take (10 days ago LOL)
- Bitcoin  10K
- Ethereum 2K
- Litecoin $500
- LSK      $300
- IOTA     $200

An advise, a better educated Take  Grin, corrections, educational comment will be appreciate  Wink

At the end is your call but to not put a single dollar in bitcoin will be a huge mistake, many people are lamenting right now that they invested everything in alts a few months ago and they missed the big rally of bitcoin not only they did not earned money they lost a lot as well since their investments lost ground against bitcoin.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 24, 2017, 02:02:16 AM
its a scam who cares

noobs should do homework before posting more spam about this pariah of a shitcoin
Many people couldn't care less if something is a scam or not, as long as they can make money in the short term.  The only question is does anyone have confidence Dash will hit that figure before something fall apart...
When it comes to currencies the most important aspect is always trust, do you think it is coincidence the word trust appears in the US currency, without trust there is not a currency and while to many as long as they can make money with an investment they do not care about anything else, some people care and as such dash is never going to be as big as it could be.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's collapse on: November 24, 2017, 01:51:28 AM
I feel like these "posts" (aka advertisements disguised as posts) would be a lot more successful if the op took some writing courses, preferably at the college level.
On the positive side, I get a kick out these because it is just so laughably obvious that it is an advertisement.
But on the other side, I always feel like time is wasted, not just mine but the website, coin, or mining group they advertise.

Perhaps it is low quality because it is free? It's not paid marketers? If it is paid, then I would want a refund if this is all they produced.
Also, isn't the audience the wrong target audience?
If it's for a mining site, then newbies definitely aren't the type to get into that, they are too busy trying to find an ico to invest in.
And I can't see anyone would fall for this unless they were entirely new to crypto.
I mean, I'm fairly new having got into it about 6 months ago and I've already seen btc "crash" a couple times, there's no way I would believe this thread.

And I might as well be nitpicky, who is gonna believe a one post newbie?
But the most important part of a post is its content, even if the post had bad grammar if the content behind was good I would still consider it a good post but since the OP is nothing more than a disguised promotion to his project then there is no amount of writing skills that can save it.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: November 24, 2017, 01:47:11 AM
I don't think so. It's not so easy to become bitcoin richman as it look at first glance. And if they were millionaires they wouldn't probably be here on forum anymore. Not so many people have kept bitcoins long enough to become really rich although there are some who have made big profit. I still think there are only few people who made their dreams come trough with bitcoins and who can say they are rich. But having in mind the volatility that doen't mean they will be rich tomorrow too.
I disagree with this, if I were to became rich with bitcoin, something not very likely, I will keep my account as a memory of that , how cool it could be to be one of those that got a lot of success in bitcoin, so to me there are many people in this forum that are holding good amounts of bitcoin and probably are not making a big deal about it.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: How to train your money for costly bitcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 03:44:33 AM
Given the situation of bitcoin prices are growing higher and more higher since last few weeks is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with the regular small fixed amount of purchase. Earlier for 100 dollars a month or bimonthly I was able to see the reasonable amount of bitcoin ( or should I say satoshis). Nowadays the prices have gone high which feels real good for existing amount purchased so far. However at the same time getting clueless about how much should be put aside for regular bitcoin purchase. Because for 100 dollars the amount of satoshis we get is nothing.
What do you think how to tackle the problem of investing in bitcoin on regular basis with prices going high and higher?
There is not much to do, you had our chance to buy bitcoin for relatively cheap prices and now it seems that opportunity is forever lost, the only thing you can do now is to try to earn bitcoin directly and hope that is enough, but obviously that has gotten harder as well since now you are going to receive a lot less bitcoin for your efforts.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: The Richest 1% Now Own More Than 50% of the World’s Wealth on: November 23, 2017, 03:38:18 AM
The question now is.. would cryptocurrencies bring equality or inequality?
Technology is only making the gap even larger, in the past you needed to hire 50 people to do a job now you can hire a single person to manage a machine that does the job of those 50 people used to do, the situation is not sustainable and at some point the economy is going to breakdown since you cannot have so much people doing nothing and expect a society that works.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin for $1 Million !!! In ten years? on: November 23, 2017, 02:35:10 AM
Chart from 2014, when Bitcoin was $300, predicted price of $10k for today — Nov 22nd, 2017.

We're at $8,200.  (If we add Bitcoin Cash and Gold prices, we'll get close to $10k).

Next milestone on chart: $100k in summer 2021.   And next: $1M in 2027.

It is always nice to look at those graphs but common sense dictates that is never going to happen, the price of bitcoin is not going to grow exponentially since there is not an infinite amount of money in the world, so we must take those kind of graphs and charts with a big dose of skepticism.
413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: November 23, 2017, 02:29:40 AM
Its not necessary for you to really use your salary to have a capital for investment and start trading. You can earn bitcoins by just working on bounty campaigns and when you have enough then that is the right time to start trading.

That might be true for some people. But others are looking to inject a lot more money into Bitcoin and altcoins than they can earn from bounty campaigns. People should just listen to the cardinal rule: don't invest what you can't afford to lose. Crypto is highly risky.

People don't care about declaring anything of their crypto holdings and activities. It's safe to say that like 90% of the people have never even considered paying tax over their holdings. Their mentality is what the government doesn't know, the government can't claim, and I can't blame them for thinking like that.

I think that era is ending. Did you see the way the IRS is trying to shake Coinbase down? This will continue and it will scare a lot of people -- at least Americans -- into reporting and paying taxes. I'm not too familiar with tax enforcement in other countries, but people are pretty afraid of the tax man here in the US.

Honestly, I'm worried that the shutdown of BTC-e was only the beginning. Bitfinex served the US market for 4 years.... I could see them shutting down unlicensed exchanges that serve(d) US customers, and forcing licensed exchanges to provide 1099s like other brokers.
If you have your money in an exchange tied to an account to your name then you need to declare your taxes before the tax man comes knocking on your door, but for all of those that never used an exchange it is more difficult to make the case since their identities are not tied to their bitcoin holdings.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, not Bitcoin, are the bubble on: November 23, 2017, 02:26:08 AM
If token issuance looks like a claim on the future value of an enterprise, that is true. The problem is, among the scams that have emerged from what can be called the “token-layer” of the crypto hierarchy, investing in unproven applications (“ideas”) is the most prevalent.

Read more: https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2017/11/icos-not-bitcoin-bubble/
I think there is a big probability this is correct, but what is this going to mean for the ico market and those that invest in it, icos already are having problems raising money since no one wants to give their bitcoin away, this added with new regulations and the number of scams is going to kill the ico market.

416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin selling question.... on: November 21, 2017, 09:09:56 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm gonna apologize from the jump for the newb question but it's something I'd really like to get myself familiar with.

My question is in regards to selling bitcoin. I have invested and know the in's and outs. One thing I wanted to know more about but just figured i'd tackle when the time came, was selling.

My question is for high selling and low selling. For example, if somebody wanted to take a small out for whatever reason how would somebody do that? Like say 1000 bucks for some quick cash? Also what if somebody was sitting on 100 btc (I wish) how would somebody go about's selling that? and Could somebody sell it all at once? I'm familiar with local bitcoins, exchanges etc....I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something or if there was an easier way or other ways I wasn't familiar with. This is strictly for me just gaining some knowledge.

Thanks in advance.
If you only want to sell a small amount of bitcoin then localbitcoins seems like the best choice just create an account and do the deal, but if you are planning to sell a huge amount of bitcoin like 100BTC then you are going to need to use exchanges and you are going to need an attorney expert on taxes to pay your taxes in your country.
417  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: November 21, 2017, 05:36:59 PM
Need some expert or real advice on how I can earn bitcoin. thanks

It would help greatly if you would outline what have you done for the past year.

But in general, earning BTC isn't all that much different from earning any other values, except, perhaps some exotic ways to earn that not present anywhere else (like mining). Easiest way to obtain BTC would be to buy BTC using money you earn on your job. If you too scared/don't have extra money to spend - I would suggest you to use some free time trying to learn some useful skill (check out marketplace to see what useful skill you should learn to earn some BTC).

It's not luck that earns you BTC (or USD for that matter), it's presistence and skills. Start with writing down your skills, and see if you can fit them into what people need (for example here - on this forums).

Others suggest trading, mining or gambling - think twice. You need to have nerves of steel if you want to trade and sizable assets to get involved in mining, and forget about gambling - this is how you help others earn, not earn yourself.

True, the old days where faucets gave full bitcoins like candy are over, if we want to make a bitcoin now we need to work hard for it, there are many ways to do it but the best way in my opinion is trading since it gives you the chance of multiplying your money many times over.
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price drop? on: November 21, 2017, 05:34:07 PM
ANd now, price is going on a bull wave once again.

You can't exactly figure out the reason because Bitcoin trading is unpredictable. Because Bitcoin trading can be very high or low in price in a short amount of time.

The thing with bitcoin is not that it's unpredictable(it is to an extent but it's just as unpredictable as stocks in my opinion), but the fact that bitcoin price often swings from being bullish and bearish, even when the overall trend is bullish.

Just don't get too positive when the price is bullish or too negative when the price is bearish.

Even its bearish I don't think it wouldn't affect so much with the demand from new investors now, because its becoming unstoppable of its value to rise more better. We can't predict the price to what it may result but what is good for these following days, the price is not heading towards the higher value and we couldn't even analyze when will it stop. It keeps on surging and I am able to see the great possibilities that the previous speculations that bitcoin's price of $8000 will be a reality for few weeks of price fluctuations.

Bearish market will not last as well. Maybe the price could do sideways for a time being, but when the price pick up again.. ohhh, you don't want it because its another bullish run. LOL. Yes, no one can really predict the price whether to go up or down, so we need to be prepared as well. But as we can see with the price today, its very bullish, it can be a bubble but whatever happens in the future, the price will remain as good as it gets.
We do not know about that the last time there was a crash the bear market lasted for many years, many people thought that bitcoin was not going to recover let us hope that just does not happen again but the possibility is there since that already happened once.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: November 20, 2017, 11:07:08 PM
the use of the cryptocurrency is illegal in some countries and punishable special at MOROCCO (North Africa)

It is to be expected, so one of the most important things is to always monitor your local news about anything related to crypto, in my country there is not going to be a ban but a new law is going to come to regulate it and I’m fine with that.
420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: November 20, 2017, 11:03:36 PM
This is a right time to buy bitcoin but never a good time to sell. We may even borrow to buy so that when next the price goes up it will generate more profit. Also do not used all you have to buy at once because the price may still be going down day by day. It may work fine if you divide your money into different batch and  buy bitcoin by batch weekly within this period of time.

We can't really say when it would be a good time to sell because people have different needs. With the price this high, it can even be argued that it's a good time to sell especially for those that jave kept their btcs since last year. As long as you feel good about it, its always a good time to sell.
But you are going to lose the rest of the profits that you could make, you should sell bitcoin unless you have no other choice but if you have it then it is a terrible idea to sell now.

I agree, there is no right time to buy or sell bitcoin, nobody knows if the price is going to decrease or increase more, what we can do is to do what our instinct tell to us, that way, we will not have any regrets on whatever may happen. Lucky us if we predicted the right thing, but how unlucky to us if it is the other way around. There is one thing that we should know, that if we have the opportunity to buy or sell some bitcoin, then do it.
The first part of the year was about altcoins and many began to question the strength of bitcoin but the second part of the year everything has been about bitcoin and its amazing recovery of its dominance in the market, lets see what the next year is about.
