401  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Banks in the Philippines that the BSP classifies as a Digital Bank on: September 23, 2022, 11:07:56 PM
Another thing, if digital bank ka ba, does this equate na meron kang feature for cryptocurrencies or optional pa din ito?

Nope, chief. Ang digital banking in a layman's terms is parang pagbabago sa kalakaran ng mga banks na kung ang usual ay personal kang pupunta sa banko para mag-transact, sa digital banks ay hindi at obviously more on digital. If they were offering crypto, that's another thing.
This is not a requirement but I believe that's a good innovation. Siguro yung iba can just accept crypto pero yung option for deposit and withdrawal migth still be subject for the approval of the regulatory body. Good thing may mga digital bank na tayo that offers a very convenient way para makapag open ng account, imagine just one valid ID and without going to their branches is already a big ease to many. Let's hope for a better innovation and sana maging crypto friendly ren sila in the future.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 23, 2022, 10:50:10 PM
Local teams have to deal with it and I’m sure Dragons are well prepared for this. They are big but of course can still lose by other teams. That might be a huge challenge for Northport so better for them to be ready as well. It’s exciting to see foreign teams executing their best plays, I hope that local teams will learn from it and take this opportunity to be better. Let’s see who will be the first team to beat Bay Area.
At this point, most games against the Bay Area Dragon will be used for scouting and making plays to beat them. Luckily, their early matches will be against weaker teams. The big teams can watch how they play and come out with a plan to beat them. Let's see how they will play against the stronger teams in PBA.
This is the true test for them, though having a huge gap and dominating games against blackwater is something that the top teams should look for.
Bay Area should not take easily for the local teams, Northport should not let this team win with a huge gap again. I'm confident that our local top teams can beat Bay Area, this conference becomes more exciting for having such a good foreign team. Let's see if Bay Area are going to change their plays or will still use the same strategy.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or Technical Analyst. Which one are you? on: September 23, 2022, 10:45:37 PM
I’m still wondering why many are still confused about the function of this two and wondering why they have to choose only one where in fact they can use both to have a better result. FA can be a good warning not to invest on new projects with a poor plan and roadmap, while TA tells the price trend which can help you decide either to buy now or wait further. Traders are using FA without noticing it, news and looking at the total supply are FA because that talks about the project itself. If your focus is purely price trend, then that’s TA.
It can both work better sometimes but many are focusing on TA which is fine as long as they know how to maximize it.
We all have our own strategy and different approach towards this market, what goods for us might not be ok to others same thing with TA and FA. I do use this both sometimes but since I'm trading with only good coins, I'm confident that they already have a good Fundamentals and that's why I tend to skip that part. FA might play its crucial role if you are dealing with the shicoins, I suggest to do this at all cost.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: Iranian launching Crypto Rial on: September 23, 2022, 10:29:27 PM
Technologically, of course, an interesting project. But there are a few caveats...
First: the purpose of this project is clearly not the promotion of promising technologies to the masses, but an attempt to avoid sanctions.
But there is a nuance - in the United States, a group has been created, called the “Digital Asset Coordinators Network”, which will be led by the National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Group (NCET) of the Department of Justice. There is an assumption that this group will deal with just such solutions.

And the second is whether this project will be implemented, given its purpose, and the current situation in Iran itself. Today there was information that in the capital of Iran, Tehran, the Khomeini regime fell and the capital was liberated.
This is a desperate move for Iranian government to escape such sanctions and yes, the US government is tightening their regulations when it comes to cryptocurrency and they will hire thousands of employees to combat this crypto fraud and probably to address this issues as well. The situation in Iran is getting worse, having their own centralized cryptocurrency might not help that much, this might force other countries to impose another sanctions against them.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 11:51:55 PM
I don’t gamble that much so it’s fine for me to leave any amount on my gambling account so I don’t have to pay another fees every time I deposit my capital, having balance with my account also gives convenient and that’s why I’m ok to leave some balance, probably lower than $100. I know it’s not safe but that’s ok because that money is already budgeted for gambling and that can’t  affect much of my financial wallet.
406  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 22, 2022, 11:04:20 PM
Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting  and Roulette

For a new casino looking top build reputation from scratch. Don't you think the NO KYC claim is dishonest and harms people's trust towards your service. When you talk about NO KYC. then there should be no single case of a customer getting KYCed
This is the reason why we should always check ToS because if they are claiming to be KYC free there are still chances that those data can be collected in no time which is not ok to many. Being dishonest at first can lose the confidence of many, it’s sad to see a supposed good site to have this bad impression at first. Let’s see if they make things clear here, having an eSports is one of the bets I’ve tried before, this can be good though.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" platforms be subject to KYC/AML laws in the future? on: September 21, 2022, 11:15:19 PM
Dunno exactly, but there should be workarounds around that as you might be able to access these platforms with different frontends. After all, they can only censor frontend and not the smart contract itself.
This is very easy to implement with the help of whitelists for projects and KYC operators. If the project will work in the USA, then it will have to comply with all the norms of the legislation of this country.
But since the KYC procedure will take place remotely, it is possible to use drops.
They have to follow regulations and the reason why many sites is not available in USA is that, there's a strict regulations and DEFI can't afford to take such risk or else they might face problem. DEFI should still be free from any regulations or KYC because that is its purpose but of course due to uncertainty in this market we can't totally say that this will be a KYC free forever, so better to be ready for the worst.
408  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: September 20, 2022, 10:21:11 AM

It's good to see na nagiging active na ang government naten when it comes to supporting blockchain technology, may nabasa ren ako article na we are already in top 2 position in terms of crypto adoption next to Vietnam.

409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why going for 1.02 odds and below on: September 20, 2022, 10:09:59 AM
Low Odds is have low risk if in the Football match score 3-1 or 2-0 and time over 80 min only 10 min left the game over. then Here we can predict a team to win and it is 99 percent effective . so we can bet for a must winning team with a low odds like 1.02-1.1 then we can easily with that bet . so if we make bet multiple time in a days by different match here we can easily earn a good amount .
This is possible if you are going to place a huge bet but if not, then this might be just a waste of time to many. Low odds are not profitable as many says, but yet there are some better who prefer to place on low odds because of a higher chance of winning but of course there’s still a risk here. I haven’t tried any low odds bet, and this is not my style of betting, maybe I can try if I’m not familiar with the team but with the top league, I guess very few will take this option.
410  Economy / Gambling / Re: I beat Duelbits on: September 20, 2022, 10:04:25 AM
I think Op doesn't know that beating a huge casino site is not that easy. The result is just proof that he has won a good amount in betting but it doesn't mean that won over it. $300 is just nothing compared to big-time gamblers. You can look at the betting records and you will be shocked by the betting amount and winnings of big-time players.
Some gamblers claims to beat the site but in reality they cannot, because that profit can lose again if they choose to continue to play. Maybe OP is just leaving the site right away to secure the profit and that can be consider as winning but in the end, if they came back to gamble I’m sure he will fall on the trap of the gambling system again. Beating the site might be the top goal for many gamblers, but in reality it’s not easy even top gamblers will find a hard time for this.
411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 20, 2022, 08:24:45 AM
If someone bet high amount (20k)+ on this casino and win  like 2-5x time more his money.

would the casiino pay him or find excuse not to pay and ban his account?
There will be no issue here if you are already a loyal player in Duelbits but if you are just new and suddenly will place a huge one time bet, most probably it will create a red flag on your account.
There’s also a max bet which you can see every time you gamble, aside from this strict KYC will surely be implemented and worst case here, your account might put on freeze while they are investigating you. Surely they will pay if you won, Duelbits is a reputable site but before that you need first to have a good record with duelbits to avoid any inconvenience.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No doubt POS is centralized on: September 20, 2022, 07:59:14 AM
ethereum just merged a few days I think it's too soon to conclude this is centralized. No one knows in the future, maybe the POS done by ethereum will be different from the others. I believe it. So far, crypto always gives surprises, ethereum which is a big project of course will not be separated from its surprises in the future.
You can see this with other project, POS is slowly becoming a centralized network but I think it’s still fine to many since many will still adopt especially now that ETH is already on POS network. Yes, the update happened a week ago and there’s still a lot of improvements needed before we see the pump, for now let’s see if ETH will become more effective under POS and due to the market situation, let’s not expect that much that the price will pump, ETH still depend on the Bitcoin trend.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to choose an online casino? on: September 20, 2022, 07:40:48 AM
There are currently some interesting options here on the forum. For example, Rollbit, Fortune Jack, Roobet, DuelBits, Sportsbet.io and others...

If you go to the Gambling board/folder... it will show you some interesting and valid options. But depending on the situation, you will need to KYC, so I think it's important for me to tell you that!!
There's a tabulation on the list of Casinos and the features available. Going through that will give the clear information to make a shortlist. Once after that, you can go to the specific casino and check it. You'll find the best that suits your requirement. If not as suggested go with the casino's on the top order.
Review sites always have this list on where you can play on the rewarding site and with a lot of options for slots game. If you are not happy with the site you are playing with OP, it’s really good to look for a new site that can work for you and can meet your satisfaction. We already have a thread the list for good crypto gambling site along with their bonuses and promotions, I just can’t see the thread but I’m sure someone already shared it here, just browse on that list and try at least 3 new sites until you find your comfort site.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 19, 2022, 11:54:53 PM
The current changes of the project is just another attempt that they want to fish out the money of their investors again so better act smart towards taking decisions on this coin since this is already done. Newbies should stop picking this on their bag since its clear that Luna is already broken already so the risk is totally high on this and not recommendable to have.
Many already shared this thought but still they are following the hype and whatever the news is as long as they can make money they will take it. LUNA is very risky token to deal with, the price can change in an instant and with the news about the arrest of DK, I doubt LUNA can survive on this problem, soon enough it will fade away.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ claimed Layer 2 isn't really needed yet on: September 19, 2022, 11:16:07 PM
I think layer 2 started as temporary solution for ETH and then it becomes innovative enough that actually it has its own place in the heart of ETH fans, I think the reason most of them still have quite high volume is because ETH still hasn't really fixed its things yet and it's still requires layer 2, even if ETH finally fixed its own things I think layer 2 will still have high volume since it's favoured as investment instruments just like ETH and BNB.
There’s still a lot of things that needs to be fixed with ETH, but with that innovation I’m sure we are heading to that. Cz knows how to timing the market, and of course he knows what he is saying along with the back up data, if it’s not the right time yet for them, then we have no choice but to wait for their next innovation. Layer 2 might still happen, we are too close for that and other project already shows their interest for that update.
416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ETH/BTC, what does it reveal to you? on: September 19, 2022, 10:49:25 PM
So I saw some people discussing ETH/BTC ratio and I don't  understand why this is important. (Or any other ratio where two coins are compared. ) So what does it tell you? Why some people look at it.
That could be an indicator to some which tells them when to buy and sell. BTC is the usual pair of most of the altcoins and that could be indication for them for a new trend depends on the price of the pair. If your strategies is like this, then it should work better to you and stick to that because BTC pair seems to be the dominant pair which can really tell the trend of a specific token.
417  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥥 BetCoCo 🥥 -🔥🔥Bonus upto 0.5BTC a month 🔥🔥 on: September 19, 2022, 10:14:40 PM
Welcome to the forum, just had a quick glance at your site and it looks nice and there a bunch of cryptos that you can use to deposit which is good.
The required KYC necessary to withdraw is I guess the next step that a lot of crypto sites will evolve too, if we like it or not.
The site is very rewarding with that bonuses, I’m pretty sure many will try this site and of course many will skip as well because of the KYC requirement. This might be the next trend for crypto gambling site but still many are hesitant to fill out KYC especially if the site is still new and still no assurance about your security. With this site, I’ll wait for other reviews and experience, I know I might missed the bonuses but that’s ok since I’m also not ok with that KYC requirement, not on a new site.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 19, 2022, 09:47:47 PM
Anyone came across this trade posted on social media:

Jamie Malonzo to Ginebra in exchange for Arvin Tolentino, Jeff Chan, Prince Caperal, and Kent Salado.

Ginebra will also be acquiring Von Pessumal once NorthPort acquired him from San Miguel in exchange for future draft picks.

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

I’m about to ask the same question here after browsing this in social media, it looks like the status is still pending but possible to happen. MVP and SMC group are just playing around, shuffling the players in exchange of money. Ginebra is a loaded team and even if they trade those players, other key players will perform, let’s just see it PBA will approve this trade which of course they will because it’s SMC, I just can’t see if this is worth it or not.
Trade usually involve large amount of money and with that Ginebra disposing their old players and getting a new one which is more fit for their game plays, I think that can still be a win win situation for Ginebra. Though some rumors are saying that they are just doing this for Ginebra first and later on will be traded to SMB. The commissioner cap is about to start, I don’t know the adjustment for the teams and players if this trade push through but I see Northport to become more competitive.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone explain to me why did ETH drop after the merge? on: September 19, 2022, 09:21:28 PM
There’s no hype during the merge because it happened already right before the update which is normal in this market, aside from this the market trend is not that good and we are still on a bear trend and there’s no other way for ETH but to follow the trend.

The merge is not a failure, it may take time before we feel the real result of that merge but I’m sure it will happen. Wait for the market to recovers, don’t panic and just keep on buying, cheaper price for ETH is a good opportunity to accumulate.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 18, 2022, 11:58:12 PM
It is instant after the decree is issued but it will take some time depending on the severity of the crime.   Authority cannot shutdown a service easily unless proven guilty of the accused crime.  It takes process and often times when the attorney of the service provider is well versed with the system the process takes months to years before the decision is made.
Yes, that's what I'm saying and that's why there's a due process and proper procedure before they do that. It is out of law if they force closure without due process.
These businesses and establishments know also the law about it and that's why if there are authorities that have done it to them, they can sue them and put it properly in the court.
Having that pending case can already ruin the reputation of the site, either they ask for compensation if they won the case or totally close the business to save their reputation as a developer and make another business again that will follow the law this time. Money laundering is a big issue, gambling activities are already red flag to the government and that’s why many are strictly implementing the KYC system, or else they will face problem later on if the government intervene with their system.
