no i dont smoke i dont want to die from a smoke Cheesy lol.. smoking kill Cheesy

Meh, comments like these make me want to smoke all the more often sometimes.... but really, it's the self-righteous, judgmental type of people that bother me. Smoking is just a personal decision.... we all have our vices.

I'm with that. I'm a smoker. Smiley

414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble incoming! $3800 - $4000 expected on: June 16, 2014, 08:46:57 PM
I hope we see a new bubble soon. I bought most of my coins > $800. Would love to be in profit. Undecided

Then why didn't you buy in at the dips to 450? If I may ask... I bought in all the way down, so my average is about 620.
Weren't you one of the bears suggesting to wait until the 200s to buy?

Oh, snap! To the the > $800 bagholder.... I'm with ya. Cry Cheesy
415  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it profitable to mine? on: June 16, 2014, 08:45:34 PM
It depends on the hash rate made available by your hardware and the network difficulty. I think difficulty is moving up too fast to get into mining now.

Are there any resources available, or places where people discuss speculation on the network difficulty? Seems you'd have to time it well to make good money if you are not a massive mining farm.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook Bank on: June 16, 2014, 08:44:36 PM
Apparently Facebook is about to enter the remittance market by opening a financial service out of Ireland:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2143200/report-facebook-about-to-enter-emoney-market-in-europe.html

Doesn't say in what currency. I'd guess they'll limit to Euros at the start?  Very odd.

I imagine this will be for fiat currency. Facebook has a huge network already for this; I don't see a reason why they would include bitcoin.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Silkroad seized bitcoins to impact price? on: June 16, 2014, 08:43:55 PM
It depends how many prospective investors there are out there who have not bought, waiting for an opportunity like this. Could be a lot of pent up buying pressure off the exchanges.
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: FBI seized coins sold = bitcoin legal in USA? on: June 16, 2014, 08:43:06 PM
In practice, it does indicate legality. I'll feel better when we see specific regulations.
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 16, 2014, 08:42:27 PM
I think sideways around this 590 level until we pop to 630-640 then see another small correction. Then up!!

Agree, though I think it's possible we get down to 580s or even 570s before this gets pumped again.

He may have used up all of his available funds.

What you suggest is a good strategy otherwise.

Only if it doesn't continue to go down Wink

I used to be scared when it dropped that it would just keep dropping. But that NEVER happens. HODL, y'all.
