Nobody is using their gold to buy goods/services ,i know do to fact i am accepting gold and no clients via btc this month ...zero orders via gold. No real liquidity ..people are just hording.

I really hope i am not right about what i think it is as we will see gold worth 1-2 usd

And platinum at $2000....

Are people that stupid to forget that in March gold was at  1475 usd and platinum was at 590 usd .... ?

402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: August 18, 2020, 06:39:45 AM
Let's be honest your words refer not only to cryptocurrencies and investments in them but to investments in General. You don't have to be smart enough to buy any gold/platinum/Amazon shares and get a profit from them even the last redneck can do this and he will be right. Here the question is rather to invest a) correctly b) correctly manage of investments. To do this, it would be really nice to read the relevant literature and maybe even take a course of classical education (from a University or College). Cryptocurrency is not a monetary panacea - but only a place where you can rise very height but you can also fall very painfully.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: China is winning the Economy Wars on: August 18, 2020, 06:13:37 AM
Words such as "What is the difference between China and Nazi Germany? Nazi Germany have a Swastika on their flag " are relevant rather for the period of the Cultural Revolution (then really terrible things happened). Now China is gradually becoming what the rest of the time was the United States-an industrial and scientific world hegemon that everyone fears only because of such a huge force. Whether this is good or bad is unclear but the fact remains that China is the engine of the world economy and if it stops it will happen "new 2008" when the US collapsed. Here is and think that better-apples or pears.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Pay Could ‘Destroy the Financial System’ on: August 18, 2020, 05:59:20 AM
Lol well, what did you expect? What will the current Russian government decide to allow cryptocurrencies? I beg you this is not even funny but just wildly naive.
Just remember that any successful IT project in Russia or any successful private business suddenly begins to interest the authorities (because successful and private = dangerous) and all ends up with the assets of companies passing into the right hands. Remember Chichvarkin, or Durov. Read what is happening with Yandex now and what has become with mail.ru.
Yes, the same Slavic Wargaming in their homeland in Belarus had better things-but they also transported almost everything that can be to Cyprus. Do not expect something like this from Russia and then you will not get disappointed.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: August 18, 2020, 05:56:01 AM
I believe that cryptocurrencies should be used as money more often, not only for speculations. To successfully and sustainably launch cryptocurrency projects within society and the state, it is necessary to have a strong economy that is ready for a new principle of monetary circulation. If country have problems with the economy then people will use cryptocurrency to accumulate and make a profit and not just for the sake of paying as usual money. Think about it.

I also wanted to use bitcoin as a currency and not as an asset but that can't be removed from it because we all grew and knew bitcoin like that. Bitcoin is commonly known as a speculative asset rather than an alternative way to pay. Most of us bought this crypto currency in hope that we will be getting a profit from it and not the convenience from using it.

But most of us, I know wanted to use Bitcoin as an alternative currency.

Despite the urge to earn from cryptocurrencies, I think people are also wanting to use these to be able to send payments or create transactions almost instantaneously and vey convinient for all of us. Though the adoption is still at its early stage, I know it will happen in the future. This community would grow and the government won't do anything because at that time, it will be unstoppable. They may create their own but I think Bitcoin will still be the most expensive and most popular.

The community you are talking about  was formed only around the cult of eternal growth and cosmic profits from btc and no more. God willing if at least 10% of the community wants and strives to use cryptocurrency as money and not as speculative shit to get even more fiat money. Sometimes I think it's all just a big joke and experiment. to create an alternative for people and come to the point that they don't need it.

Well, that's what I'm talking about! Already once again-people as always showed their true nature. They don't need a revolution they just need more greenbacks and a new iPhone and nothing more.
I think that Satoshi is not happy about it... from all these posts of "btc to the moon" "eternal growth" and so on. He created the future as opposed to the present and got the present without the future

Are you a man or what ? Buy something right now ! you deserve it !

Go to services area or goods area and buy something for yourself right now  ! Be the man ! Don't let anyone tell you what to do !

I challenge you to buy something right now !

Help the economy grow !

It is quite ironic that you said "do not let anyone tell you what to do" yet persuading people to buy something. Buying something just like you want to will not make you a "man" but more likely compulsive especially if the thing that you bought is not an essential, or won't help you, considering the situation we are all having and experiencing.

There's this thing called "priority". People not only men, are having priorities in every moment. Every priority has a weigh. If someone will just choose to buy things he wanted, it might really help the economy is some ways but won't help himself for a long run, and that's the thing called "responsibility".

Exactly.
This post somehow reminded me of all sorts of ads of the level "I treat your brain after useless business training and help you earn REAL MONEY using WORKING METHODS" when in fact it is all the same only in a different wrapper.
There is a fairly ancient meme the essence of which is that if a man does something, he always does it himself. And if he does something at someone's behest then it just seems to you.
408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump signs executive orders banning TikTok and WeChat on: August 15, 2020, 05:24:19 AM
It was very funny - first trump lashed out at Ticktock and today Apple and Google have removed Fortnite from their stores. It feels like this is all some very bad game... Imagine a crowd of ten thousand teenagers who demand to return their freedom to post a cringe in Tiktok and spend money in fortnite. The most terrible force!
They are doing everything to ban Chinese product not unless those Chinese company agrees to the terms and conditions of USA. American companies will always be under the influence of their own government, and will always follow them or else they will face consequences as well.

This can be a good move considering the trust issues with China right now, and many teenagers are sharing their personal details without thinking for the consequences. We might see other countries to follow this especially India since the tension on their border continues to heat up.

You can't force love

And you can't force people to use Bitcoin as a currency when you can use it as a mighty vehicle for speculation. There's simply no economic incentive why anyone would use crypto for daily needs if they can use fiat instead. Indeed, if they don't have fiat, they would have no other option but spend their coins. But it is rarely the case in real life, and even when it is, you can still live off volatility waves, i.e. sell bitcoins (or whatever) dear and buy them back cheap later, living on the spread

This is the fundamental problem of the entire cryptocurrency and community. Historically, the tool created as a substitute for money is used simply to make money and to promote the growth of the "Fiat economy". And this makes me laugh every time to read another post about the fact that "cryptocurrency is the future" from a person who (I'm sure) just this morning or before going to bed spent some buying/selling to earn a little more dollars. These people don't care about the "cryptocurrency future". They are only interested in profits simply because they THEMSELVES do not SEE the POINT in using the same eth as a means of payment!
And it hurts me.

411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project Vitalik! on: August 14, 2020, 06:28:03 AM
Buterin made a good project precisely because he was the "Holy" enthusiast - like Satoshi for example. He wanted to go into the future with cryptocurrency as money and that's why he made ETH so good and convenient. While you will create projects just to raise the money - you will continue to catch fire and burn, as Vitalik and others like him will remain true visionaries of the community.
Yes ETH is a very cool project and as for me one of the few now on the exchange who is really able to go to the moon.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Exclusive Tax Proposals On American Billionaires on: August 14, 2020, 06:24:09 AM
This is very bad for me. Any point increase in the tax burden (everyone's favorite progressive tax) is the worst thing the economy can face. What do the authorities want? What would the largest companies and successful enterprises take their business out of the country to a place where they will be treated humanely? Or that all of them will just raise prices which will hit ordinary people? Very strange behavior that has no explanation-precisely because the rules apply only to the US-companies and not all who conduct their business in the country.

Some strange ideas that a real man is someone who only buys what he wants and when he wants. I fully agree rather with the fact that a real man is someone who know what to buy and not loose money. Who can support their family and their children, who knows what they want from life. And to go and buy something right now is childishness and just indulging your base sins and desires.
415  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the strangest Fiat currency you have seen? on: August 14, 2020, 06:03:02 AM
Thanks for sharing. They are beautiful collectible coins. I wanted to know more and found the link to the source. On the website there are a description of these coins and others for those who like to collect real works of art.
Nature and animals are a gift from God  for everyone. Happy who knows how to appreciate all these blessings.

I really want to start collecting all the coins with foxes that there are (and there are really a lot of them). Many of them are made incredibly beautiful. In addition, such coins could be a sort of investment because different limited series after a couple of decades soars in price
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: August 12, 2020, 06:04:37 AM
It seems to me that for a very "black day" and a total disaster, it is worth investing in physical assets - gold. It can be bought even in bars and kept at home, and the memory of mankind about gold coins and the gold standard will keep gold in perpetual growth for a very long time and make it suitable for use as money. Digital assets are also not bad of course but what if there is a total blackout for example? Or worse. On the blackest day in history, you should only buy gold (or platinum or palladium)
417  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Can show economy on: August 12, 2020, 06:04:00 AM
The wind can actually show the weather
I think when the wind stops blowing-the weather stands and the clouds do not move and if the wind blows then we are waiting for a shift in the clouds and the trees will wobble
if the wind is still blowing in this bad weather situation, we can expect that weather situation will be more severe, and if the wind becomes weaker or stops blowing in the next few months, we have serious problems... then all the weather will rise and not a blade of grass will move
so guys let's look at the strength of the wind and find out the weather
You are witing obvious things, isn’t it?
418  Economy / Economics / Re: the billion dollars question on: August 12, 2020, 05:35:57 AM
Lol have you seen the market? Everything goes back to growth what kind of death are you talking about? The entire market has returned to its February positions and is gaining momentum. Why you like fatalism so much?
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 12, 2020, 05:32:51 AM
This may not be a fundamental factor, but it is still important. Some ASSCUM token is unlikely to be bought with a serious face, if only ironically.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the strangest Fiat currency you have seen? on: August 10, 2020, 05:36:10 AM

I love limited series of all sorts of coins - collectible and for festive events. But one of my favorites is the Austrian 100 euro with a Fox family! Some countries still have coins with foxes, but this one is my favorite.
