401  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning Network vs Bitcoin cash on: January 02, 2018, 02:29:15 PM
Lightning network will always be one step ahead of the curve than Bcash. People like Roger and his army of shills will call it centralized not knowing the actual network topology behind LN.

Aha, so I must misunderstand something, great, I'm always eager to learn. So how do you imagine that I send a $2000 payment over 30 hops where a guy with only $100 freely available in his account is in the middle ? Or another guy in my route just bought something himself and doesn't even have any money freely available at all ? LN at its core is just a 'chain of lenders' and most people are not really suited as lenders cause, well, they just don't have any money to lend. But I clearly must misunderstand something so I hope you can enlighten me and explain how LN is going to be a DECENTRALIZED success, a network where the little guy is going to lend the big guy tons of money to process his transaction!

402  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning Network vs Bitcoin cash on: January 02, 2018, 02:18:01 PM
And why is al this bullshit comments always from new accounts? Ripple? Seriously? I think that your right about smoking weed, you should stop smoking it.

Care to elaborate? Or prove me wrong?

Lightning nodes are a healthy way to solve centralization issues

How so? Quite the contrary in my opinion, LN equals centralization, it's the only way this can even work. Do you really imagine a world where somebody has 30 hops to another person and the amount of money that can be sent over those 30 hops is  determined by the guy with the lowest amount of money AVAILABLE, for YOUR transaction, in his payment channel ? Come on that's ridiculous! In fact it's one of the most dumbest idea's I've ever even heard, the guy who invented LN must be quite disconnected from reality, smoking too much weed, only some crazy hippy with a distorted world view could come up with something like this.

Reality check: the ONLY way this can even work is if banks will solve that problem and start big nodes. Then the size of your account (behind the scenes this would then be called "payment channel") determines the amount of money you can send, just like it does now in traditional banking.

In fact I opened a topic LN vs Ripple, it got deleted not sure why, but I really wonder what the advantage of bitcoin + LN will be over Ripple and the current banking system. In both scenario's it will be all about banks using block chain infrastructure to facilitate their own banking process. Difference though is that banks are already experimenting with Ripple, while LN hasn't even been released yet, so I figure my self Ripple has a much bigger chance of surviving.

You've been scammed. Congratulations.
Jaap Terlouw is sitting at home laughing about your stupidity and naivety.

He's having a nice day. Future's trading at $435. That times 2 million ... almost a billion dollars. Scamming DOES work. Enough idiots buying into this scam.

Anyone else notice the block level has been 'stuck' at 501451 level for quite a long time?

https://blockchain.info/

there you go, 501452. Now let's hope that these scammers get what they deserve: NOTHING
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 28, 2017, 06:25:11 PM
but I wish you success with this fork. because why the hell not?

Because they didn't do anything but steal the original Segwit2x code, premine 2 million coins and now release it ? That's ok in your book ?
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 28, 2017, 06:11:12 PM
Block 501451 just passed. Is this crap forked now ?

It's getting killed on yobit currently. Nice, hoping those scammers won't make anything
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 27, 2017, 03:11:11 PM

One of the biggest Brazilian crypto exchanges supported B2X hardfork!

https://www.negociecoins.com.br/

LOL, that's the 147th exchange in terms of volume Smiley Sounds great though 'one of the biggest brazilian crypto exchanges' LOL
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 27, 2017, 03:31:40 AM
anyone can easily make his own fork now
https://forkgen.tech/

LOL, this is hilarious. Even NASDAQ is linking this site: http://www.nasdaq.com/article/with-forkgen-anyone-can-now-create-their-own-bitcoin-fork-even-us-cm895179

Maybe I should start my own 'SegWit2x - OFFICIAL' fork and release it before these guys ? Or alternatively, just compile the Segwit2x source code and release it before them Smiley "SegWit2x - Cash" also sounds pretty neat Smiley

Arstechnica mentions one danger though regarding scammers:

"There's also a real danger that some of these forks will be scams. When a new Bitcoin fork is created, people have to use their private keys from the existing Bitcoin blockchain to access the newly created fork bitcoins. Someone could create a new Bitcoin fork in hopes of tricking people into revealing the encryption keys for their vanilla bitcoin holdings. This is why prominent Bitcoin developer Gavin Andresen recommends that people move their bitcoins to new addresses before they try to cash out corresponding coins from Bitcoin forks."

Hey.
They just kicked me off from telegram chat  Grin

Scammer!
What is the story I see:
1. First - they appeared only in one media: ForkLog from Ukraine
2. Founder also lives in Ukraine (according to FB)
3. First person who owned official web site - Glib Ushakov, now changed to Jaap
4. They had many mistakes on the web site. For example: Ethereum contracts for b2x
5. Their business developer was Model, now crypto developer  Grin
6. They had as Chief Technical Officer - ex financial manager Marco Zumer - Now his profile deleted from site
7. They couldn’t give clear explanations about Satoshi Free coins. Because they don’t really know what are his addresses and how they are going to move coins? Do they have private keys for those addresses. Or they are going to create from nothing?  Cheesy
8. The only ways to get your “free” coins: send to provides by them addresses your btc. What?? Do you see any future of coins, which will open the code to selected providers? From the other side - what is the reason to have codes on github? Any wallet could support the fork  from open codes.
9. There is no any ex b2x developer in the team. I don’t really believe that they even have someone technical educated to work with blockchain.
10. I have screenshots, which I shared with group in telegram and was banned. All messages were deleted   Grin

So here they are:

Nice research ! And that dancer/model/actress who now is a 'crypto developer' and 'block chain expert' haha just too funny!
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 26, 2017, 08:53:19 PM
why did not support bittrex and poloniex?

LOL because no serious exchange is going to support a couple of people from the Ukraine who just ripped off the original code. That's also why no serious media is even reporting about this, in case you wondered about that too.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 26, 2017, 08:33:59 PM
Dear developers, is it possible to mine the B2X with X11 miners?

They're not developers. They just took the original segwit2x code and are going to release it now, after they pre-mined 2 million coins. They've developed nothing themselves.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 26, 2017, 06:42:10 PM
Haha this project is just too funny, what a bunch of clowns.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SegWit2X] Together we will see a business through. on: December 26, 2017, 06:11:49 PM
LOL you guys opened a github account 7 days ago, just stole the old commits, wrapped it together and are now pushing it out ? That's too funny
